$60 as a venue base is rather steep for people going in for the side tourneys... =/. I can understand for the highlight fighting games, but are people willing to pay on average (between early bird registration to onsite) ~$50 + $10/game to play a considerably smaller pool of non mainstream fighters? I know this isn't at you, but just saying, lol.
I live in Calgary, and was anticipating on showing up since announcement of it being held here. However, I still can't get my mind over the fact that Canada Cup is making people pay an extremely high amount considering its not, or at least I don't feel it, as big as EVO or other big tourneys across North America. I'm still thinking about entering or not, but again (sorry for repetition), the money is a hard thing to simply spend.
Also, more of a personal question, how many BB players is expected to show up? And I could use a clarification, spectators must pay the venue fee as well?
