Hello everyone! I've been playing since CT but I've been too shy to post here on dl (mostly because of my terrible skill at this game and because I didn't have internet for netplay ;w; ) Since the first iteration, I've been wanting to pick up Rachel because of her stylin' combos and mixup but, once again because of my horrible execution, I've never been able to play her successfully. At the end of CS2, I finally gave her another shot and found that I really enjoyed the way that she felt when I played her. I figured that since I've been lurking for so long, I should get around to introducing myself. So here I am! :3 (by the way, I'm terrible at FGs; don't judge me （☍﹏⁰）. Feel free to add me for games, however, seeing how I'm always super lonely in training mode orz)

If you can start pressure, tao has no reversals without meter. Another interesting thing that i found today is that 6B causes tao's counter assault to whiff, giving you a free counter hit. Not sure how useful this is applied to actual reads (probably not at all), but it's food for thought. Edit: I keep forgetting that tao can crawl under missiles. I find bombs infinitely more useful.

I play a pretty decent hazama on a regular basis and I find that when he's running a j.cancellable blockstring and goes for a j.2C crossup or overhead, if you read it properly, 2C will beat it out or trade for a fatal.

blocked 5B>TK j.4D for a crossup is a trick I use every now and again in noel pressure :x

@Necrrofantasia I agree with Emerald regarding her being fairly easy to pick up. Execution-wise, the only trouble I had at the beginning was her 3C>22C>RC stuff, but that's also pretty easy once you get used to the timing. Her only problems imo are her pressure game and how slow some of her moves are. Past that though, good damage and overall just being fun to play make her a good choice I think. Also, cat staff is gdlk. :3

I had trouble with the IAD after the j.2A when I first started off as well. If it helps, I find that I actually have enough time during the j.2A's recovery to return to neutral and then put in the IAD. In other words, I find it more effective to not roll the input so that it gives you 2A>366, but more like 2A>5>(delay)>66. Also, IIRC the IAD needs to be delayed by a significant amount of time after the j.2A; the IAD might not be failing from the 63/36 input so much as the timing of the IAD? Hope that helps.
