I can agree with the slow walk speed and reversals, but, it's rather nice that EX and Revenge are separate, SF always had link-based combos aside from certain special supers/modes you could temporarily enter as well. The SF games did feel different from one another, except 4, which was trying to emulate 2 I guess. Watching 5 felt more different than watching 4, which is pretty linear and slow, and it really feels like 5 is what 4 should have been. They fought in a restaurant, and Chun got food on her. I don't see what's so odd or bothersome about this. It's like getting mad if she got wet after being made to break the glass on an aquarium. It certainly could have been sillier, like she could have ended up with condiments all over her face or something.

Ok, I didn't like SF4 much at all, but i'm going to have to be the one to say "haters gonna hate" on you, TAI-X. This game is leaving a very good first impression. Chun seems like mostly motions again, characters have varying EX meters, Ryu did a guard break on Chun, this power-up mode seems to change a lot about how they play and upgrade their super, Charlie's back, the environmental destruction opens the stage some and allows for some extra touches like the noodle bowl, and there was something like perfect blocking in place. This game has yet to show anything that seems as risk-averse as SF4, which really just wanted to be SF2 with a bunch of characters and slowed down.

I'm likely going to use these costumes for most characters, it sounds too good to not use.

Hmm, I got mine off the HK PSN. Any idea of the price of the colors or Leo there?

I thought they already said she'd have all her old moves and a couple new ones. Can't wait for my dino and flame man back though.

So, the game comes with 6 (relatively bad) colors per character, and then we're only getting 13 and 14 as DLC? So what the hell are 7-12?

This character has like everything i'd ever love in a character. Main for sure now.

So, I see myself switching to Leo and bumping Sin down to sub. Leo doesn't do a great amount of damage, but he's all over the place. Might knock Venom off my sub list to bring Sin down.

Unlike DBFC, where I was familiar with the characters and extremely disappointed with the selection, I don't know anyone but Saber. I'll be cautiously watching this one out of curiosity.

SF4 is better than SF3? lolno. The only SF games worse than SF4 are SF1 and Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game. Where the hell do you live that it's $150?!

I like Rammy more and still like Elphelt, but I felt like Bedman had no development at all. He just sorta felt like a Deus Ex Machina to move the plot along, and was never in danger ever except one moment with Gabriel. His character didn't change at all, and his mission is horribly vague. The only thing he had that could be called a character would be his hesitation to attack Rammy (because she reminded him of his sister I guess?), and that felt really forced. A guy who toys with lives and genuinely treats everyone else, and her, like worthless things wouldn't suddenly hesitate.

What's up with this thing about Ky's eye turning red after getting knocked off and he gets back up? I was under the impression that he was human, but, is he (partially or otherwise) a Gear? Is he a vampire like Slayer?

lol I noticed something playing Story for this game. I was listening to the dub since I was watching it like a movie anyway, but, when Chipp asks May her age, you can hear her reply with an exact number (of 22) in English. I have to wonder if she says this in Japanese, or it was just added for dub.

So, there was an error in the install, but it fixed itself. It told me the game was 100% finished downloading when it only have 5GB/7.2GB

So, I have a weird problem. I can't access Story, because it's telling me that I cannot use this mode while game data is being installed. But, it's already fully installed...

Xrd's up on HK PSN on PS4. You have to search for it. Elphelt is bundled, didn't see DLC for Sin or colors.

Updates on HK PSN can happen from 9AM-7PM. So, it's 11:29AM there right now.

Aww man! I just decided to switch to buying it on HK and used the money on my JP account for Kamen Rider Battride War II and Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden.

Actually, I have another question. My JP and HK accounts are not my main accounts, though both have my PS4 activated as their home PS4. If i'm getting this digital release from JP/HK PSN, will I be able to play it on my normal US account? (which is PS+, unlike the other 2)

Thanks a bunch. Do you know how much color DLC and/or Elphelt will cost? If it ends up being under $500 with the game included, I think i'll be going HK and using the JP account to buy something else.
