I already wasn't getting this simply because it was on XO, but even if it was on 360, I wouldn't support it if they plan on selling me a bunch of the cast separate. I would like Cinder and Riptor back, but realistically, doesn't matter since I won't be able to play it.

Hmm, Namco Bandai is announcing a new fighting game at E3. Anyone think it could be this game? I know, I was just saying that because I thought we were beyond 30, and 30+ rarely means very far over 30 in game developer speak. I hadn't counted and just assumed we were beyond 30 already.

I wonder if that means we're done getting new characters.

A better explanation is that King Crimson allows Diavolo to transport himself a few seconds into the future, circumventing anything that would have happened to him within those few seconds as he would not be there. Or, in another way of thinking, he simply stops time for a few seconds and can do as he pleases within it, before time resumes for everyone else.

So, Ein is considered different from Hitomi, and Leon different than Bayman, but Momiji (who doesn't borrow moves at all) isn't? Were you joking or something? Momiji is as much a new character as Rig and Mila in the previous version.

None of the remaining VF females would be bad, but i'd prefer a new character. I really would hate for them to bring back Clonesumi because i'm hoping for either someone completely brand new, or a VF female (I do think Aoi would be the best fit). Also, Momiji looks like her own character to me. In Ninja Gaiden series, she learned how to fight from Ryu, so it's understandable that she's using a somewhat similar style, but she doesn't feel like a clone.

Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate will be getting a free-to-play model released on Japanese PSN, where you have access to all modes, costumes, and stages (barring the DLC ones, and story mode), and 4 characters (you have to buy the rest for $4 per character). What is actually interesting news is the character select screen: If you notice the character select, then you'll see Momiji, Jacky, and Ein (who is wearing shades in his character icon). There are 2 secret slots, one of which would belong to Leon. The other would belong to an as-of-yet-unnamed female fighter. It could be a VF character, or it's entirely possible that it is a new original character like Momiji. The reason I would believe that it's a female is the costume pack that mentions 14 females, but there are 13 besides Alpha-152, and I doubt they'd give her costume. But, the basic news here is that there are 2 blank slots aside from Momiji, Jacky, and Ein, with one being Leon, and the other being left to reveal.

Bang's gauntlets are a Nox Nyctores, but it doesn't recognize him as its wielder, so he can't use its power (which is to sever someone's ties from the boundary).

I guess you're right, I like playing a lot of characters. I still usually end up with a main, but I generally play with a lot of the cast in any fighter (except Injustice, where I only especially like Batgirl and Black Adam).

Kagura sounds like tons of fun, i'll have to pick him up. Everything about him just works for me. I do still hope for Jubei, but, Kagura, Azrael, Makoto, and Jin will be duking it out for the spot of main (still going to sub Carl, Tsubaki, Valkenhayn, Amane, Izayoi, and whatever of the potential mains doesn't click as much eith me).

Got my Aquapazza now, decided to go for it over Jojo since Jojo might get localized. EDIT: I...just...there are no words for my hatred of this Multi character. Nothing portrays my absolute hatred and rage after seeing the AI dodge roll endlessly and completely lack recovery on any of Multi's moves whatsoever. EDIT 2: Well, i've done everything but the online trophies and the one for getting all trophies, but I think these will be unattainable. If I happen to find some rooms, I can get the 2 that just ask you to play one match, and I might get lucky and win 1 Ranked match sometime, but I don't see myself getting 3 in a row, and I imagine just winning in general will be difficult given how long people have had this before me, not mentioning the lack of people playing it seems.

Is Kohaku a story NPC character, or a playable one?

I don't want anyone to become unusable, but balance adjustments are important. I still have a preference towards my preferred characters (Merkava, Carmine, and Gordeau), but i'm not so jaded as to overlook the fact that they need to be rebalanced as well, for better or worse. I just don't want them to be nerfed to uselessness.

Netplay is supposedly going to be available after the game releases in the remaining countries.

Glad to see Ein and Jacky (one of my fave VF characters to use). I hope Jacky's theme is either his VF5FS theme, or a remix of his VF4 theme.

Maybe they'll announce Tengu and Aoi together in a while?

Oh wow, this would be awesome. It'd be great to have this series back. However, i'm not sure it will happen. Hudson was adamant that they didn't want to do it, and even if Konami owns the rights now, the question for them will be "is it worth it"? Personally though, i'd love to see it, with Fox added back. Over the series i've been using Fox, Bakuryu, Long, and Xion.

I don't know any of the Aquapazza series, it just looked like a lot of fun. Meanwhile, I love Jojo's. I wasn't going for a special edition, i'm just worried it may not come over, and if I wait too long, I miss my pre-order Kira.

Most of my irl friends will play fighters with me for like 5 rounds until they just get angry and stop playing, so I would be spending all of my time on it solo really. Same with Jojo in all honesty. EDIT: Feel the need to clarify, it's not like i'm especially good at fighters, but my friends mostly play Call of Duty and stuff. It's really funny to watch how amazed they are when I show them games I play simply because how different they are from their shooters.

I finally got the extra scratch to put in for Aquapazza, but i'm wondering if I should do that or pre-order the new Jojo game.

But, the Celica is the young Celica, not the older one he knew. So, it's not a flashback, unless it's a flashback Celica is having with Bloodedge. If that's the case, she's either playable with her own story, or a lot of story is from her perspective. EDIT: I'm worried about the Blazblue anime when a lot of the group is affiliated with hentai.
