  1. That's odd, I'm using a standard English keyboard and it's giving me Japanese. Also when I go to English for the onscreen keyboard it'll type the first letter then go back to Japanese (for keyboard).
  2. Is there any way to get the keyboard in lobbies to stay on English so I can type on a keyboard?
  3. That sucks about your game hopefully the customer service won't be a pain to actually deal with. That combo is pretty easy the part that gives me the most trouble is the IAD>j.d>j.a part, it burns about 20-25% wolf meter if I remember correctly. Biggest issue is no corner carry, although it is a good back to corner combo.
  4. Ditto I'm having trouble doing the simplest of things such as wolf instant air dash in then break over my opponent's head. I feel like my mobility is 10% of what it was in CSE simply due to this one change, hopefully it won't take long to adjust but it's killing me right now (also kind of frustrating). Just need to train myself to remember w[6D>4C] is the new w[5C>5C], so simple when you think about it, but sadly it's not so in execution. Also do you find yourself accidentally wasting wolf meter trying to get out of wolf because you pressed a direction when you pressed D? Even just w5b > j.d > j.c is giving me problems in an actual match, I really do feel sloppy.
  5. I'm definitely having trouble adjusting, but truthfully I don't know if it would be harder for someone to pick up this version of Valk than the previous. All I can say is it definitely is troublesome for someone who has been using Valk for awhile. Assuming brJA is w[5/3C>5c>j.A] in which case I'm finding it more difficult to do the new input for it is w[6/3D>4C>j.A] I was able to do it within the first few attempts, but it is harder for me to do consistently currently. From the few matches I've played I haven't really had trouble reacting to standard CHs such as 5c>236c and 3c>dash>2b, although the latter (3c) is a bit harder to do now and it's a shame that 5b(ch)>6c doesn't work anymore.

Mid-screen human starters CH3C>6D>5D>2C>6B>tk.214B>2D>w[236A>236B>j.236A>j.236B>6D]>j.5C [3549DMG 25HG] Corner human starters 2A>5B>5C>235B~236B>3D>w[j.4D>j.a>5D]>5B>236A>2C>tk.214B>6C>3C [2676DMG 19HG] Character specific 236A wiffs on Jin and Ragna works on Bullet and Azrael that I know of, so it should hit all bigger hitbox characters. 5B>3C>236A>2A>2C>236C>6D>w[j.236b>2D]>5D>2C>6B>2C>tk.214B>6C>3C [3217DMG 23HG] 5B>5C>235B~236B>3D>w[j.4D>j.a>5D]>5B>236A>2C>6B>2C>tk.214B>6C>3C [3629DMG 26HG] FC6B>2C>5C>236B~236B>6D>w[j.A>5D]>5B>2C>236C>6D>w[j.236A>j.236B>2D]>5D>2C>tk.214B>6C>3C [4173DMG 29HG] FC6C>2C>6B>2C>tk.214B>5D>w[5C>236A>236B>j.236A>j.236B>j.214A] [3641DMG 26HG] Now I realize this isn't high damage for a FC combo, but I think you can do wolf loop to increase the damage to possibly make it optimal damage but I'm unable to do the wolf loop reliably so unsure. 7. Ah I see, was kind of confused due to the current system using 3C/5C5C as the current break so naturally thought it'd be on the same button as the dash movement again (although still thought it'd be weird because as you stated it would just dash again). Thanks for clearing that up for me, I will say it does seem more logical this way and would probably make more sense for people picking up Valk for the first time.
  8. I'm wondering if you meant 1D, 4D/7D? I ask because I thought wolf movement was changed to D from C. Wooo finally, I hope he's here to stay. Now where's that Hima...?
  9. 5D also appears to be a great tool if timed right to put them back into pressure after air tech as well. What's your opinion on his ground throw? I don't see people throwing often but it does look like you're both at neutral, but with Yosuke's good mixup that definitely doesn't seem like a bad thing to me, especially with the positioning it gives you seem to have a lot of options, at least that's what I'm seeing from videos.
  10. Awesome, thanks for the in-depth reply I always have trouble judging certain things purely from videos until I actually get hands-on experience with the game, not to mention I've been trying to avoid watching too many videos because every time I watch some I get hyped and of course I'm unable to play it. Now that it's nearing release I'll start watching more videos to try and learn stuff before it comes out.
  11. I have a question, how does Yosuke's mix-up seem? good, average or bad? I generally like playing speedy characters with good mixup. I play Valk in BB and Millia in the regrettably short amount of time I spent with GG.

  13. I think I might just stick with the combo without the 22c > dash 5c just because it's simpler in general (I usually fail on landing the 22c due to doing IAD j.cc too quickly or I fail on the dash 5c), I'd rather lose 200 damage and consistently hit it.
  14. Ah alrighty, I just got it down. Thanks for the help! Now only if it worked on Jin, I guess there's nothing you can do to extend your combos against Jin?
  15. Hmmm are you sure this combo works 22D > 6CC > j.214D > 5CC(whiff first hit) > 2CC > IAD j.CC > 5B > 2CC > 22C > 5C > 2C > 236B > 214B > 22B [4719 damage, 47 meter gain] they always tech out after the 2C leading to 236B for me (I can get 236A to hit but leads to nothing of course) perhaps it's character specific? I have only tried it on Noel currently so that could be a possibility. I just tried it on Valk and Tager and same story. It could be me just screwing up the timing somewhere as well, can't figure it out.
