When someone gets knocked down can they tech or pop-off the ground like they do in BB or P4A? Are knockdowns just like GG (no quick rise mechanic or ground teching)? EDIT: Also do characters flash as they're getting up?

This has really been bugging me. Recently, I noticed that I am not getting full tension after a gold burst. The burst was gold and the foe was definitely hit. However, there was zero tension gained. Is this a graphical bug or a gameplay bug? Anyone know what is the cause of this problem? I've noticed this happen (4 times total) during my Ky (Me) vs Anji and Baiken (Me) vs Anji matches.

hey that's my ADAPTer really funny using a psx dualshock against those smashers. i guarantee that thing works as i was the one that gave VR a taste of that adapter. tested it to work with ps1 and ps2 controllers. used a hori stick and a psx dualshock. there are however some problems with ps2 controllers when shielding in smash brawl.
