Saber is definitely strong. I can't say much in place of opinions of actual jp players, just from my observations. She controls the neutral game pretty well that's for sure as expected from her straightforward poking and spacing playstyle (looks at Mitsuru and Hakumen). On Ethica, she's definitely a grappler-based character but I can'tell really say at the moment. Still pretty new and I need to watch more. She obviously has trouble with the zoners. She LOOKS to be strong, could be the early grappler syndrome. Still unsure though. She does however have ways to get in: slide, evasive roll that goes pretty far, etc. In terms of viability, only time will tell. Saber is pretty viable, may have trouble with zoning but not as much as the other non-zoners. Ethica, I don'the really know. I hope this helped in some way. Feel free to pine in your own thoughts/opinions. Ignis is pretty good if you browse back a page or two and look at what she her tools are. She's got mostly everything a character could wish for. I am going to ahead and say she has a superb neutral game as well as one of the best Lethal Blazes (level 3) of the game. However, she's rather technical so that's probably why there aren't too many of her at the moment as opposed to say Al Azif though I could be wrong since I've not kept up with the game fully for about a week now. Overall, I personally think she's a strong character with great tools. PROPSS! I see a lot of 2B, 2C, the occasional 6A (gdlk AA), j.B, j.C and her different gunshot specials. I am unsure, but 214C is the version where she shoots downwards? I know A is the horizontal one and I believe B is the Aigis 2B looking one. I have yet to see anyone use 5C. It's actually a parry. Currently I don't see that many Eins out there, but this guy in this video is my favorite so far. I like the his movement and spacing with her as well as his assist choices. I have to give him credit for the use of Sakura. Didn't think you could cancel out recovery like that and if you think about it, while situational, it's pretty good burst-bait material.

Also my thoughts: Yea, the window to tech seems huge from what I'm seeing in matches. There have been a lot of throw breaks. Also, I was watching people test out Ignis and I'm not totally sure how her Lethal Blaze works. I know it hits everywhere, but does it freeze whatever the opponent is doing at the time. IIRC saw another Ignis backdash and got htit by the level 3.

Same, I would very much like to see the level 3 setups with Ein that players can come up with different assists.

Oh nvm, I read too much into that on Wikipedia and spoiled myself. The illusion is thing is more of her delusion, but I haven't read it so I don't want to spoil myself any further. As for what type of assist she is as well, forget the field effect thing I said. Fun note: I love how Nitro is going in a zombie direction with the anime adaptation of this and what with Tokyo Necro vn coming out in Japan as well.

Her char info says she creates an "illusion" for herself to mask the surroundings from zombies, so maybe a field effect assist?

I felt like Dragon would've been a cool grappler or hybrid-grappler. I just tried Royale a few days ago and while it's really dumb and shitty, it was kind of fun for laughs.

That looks like a very strange command grab if it is. I think we all need to see more footage of it. As for Elen's command grab with Yoishi, my impression of that combination is pretty decent, but the start-up of the dash isn't going to be very helpful in the long run when players develop counter-measures against it.
