  1. Thanks Singer (also for the Muramasa song; going to add it to my collection of Nitroplus music). Daki from KakugeKings has uploaded the full stream. You can still break them down individually still if people want easier viewing that is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCXjc3BbdTA EDIT: So I watched the whole thing (actually skipped through most matches), and some parts feel very familiar. Anyway, my impressions so far: - I liked seeing Elen's Lethal Blaze again as well as Mora's (very painful to watch). - I was also very excited to see more footage of Anna (looks like a potential sub for me). - Finally get to see Ignis, the motherf*ckin protector of humanity. She looks very different from her Royale counterpart, but I'm liking what I see: She's got that ojou-sama walk animation and upon closer inspection, she runs pretty quickly. I'm gonna agree with Singer she might be a charge char. - I noticed Al has some sort of new move where she shoots the ground and if it hits, the enemy is trapped in a web of sorts. And that's that for me.
  2. Muramasa's new special web grab move is indeed hype-worthy. I do agree with sibladeko on Ein's Level 3 sniper shot. Do hope it is UNB. Call someone with long block stun (e.g. Natsumi, Henri) and then blam. Also love that anime cutscene.
  3. The daily rate is $5. More info on parking here: http://daf.csulb.edu/offices/ppfm/parking/parking-general.html Parking lots 3 and 4 are the ones should consider, since they are closer to the USU (where the ballrooms are). Here's a map for your convenience: http://daf.csulb.edu/maps/parking/index.html An alternative if you don't want to pay for parking, you can park on Bellflower Blvd. (west side of the campus) or on Atherton St. (north side of campus), but it's a long walk.

  5. Helmet indeed too strong. Sorry had to do it. Swear this will be the last slightly off-topic thing lol.
  6. We all know Ein/Elen is the true Nitro+ gun girl :V Maybe I'm exaggerating, but I personally feel Akane isn't a fighter to begin with, not physically, and I agree with SoWL in that aspect. She fits more of the role as a communicator of sorts (at least in my definition and how I observed from the anime), but that won't work in a FG like this. So just having her shoot is already alright with me. Of course, feel free to disagree with me on this.
  7. I was actually expecting Yoishi's vomit to turn out to be something like AP Multi's puddle or something, but unblockable black smoke that makes your opponent not jump-able is pretty neat. I can certainly see the applications used against certain mobile characters (probably like Ein) combined with other assists. I'm hype about Akane though, she'll prob utilize her Dominator, I just wonder how.
  8. Since the pdf on main site got updated, here's the latest article from Dengeki Online with some new screens of Muramasa, Yoishi, Althea and Aoi. http://t.co/DaDQOyBS5Y Yoishi's vomit looks like a poisonous gas. Can't wait for footage this weekend. Oh and there's playable Muramasa finally :V
  9. Hey guys, looks like the main site updated the pdf with Muramasa's movelist and the newly announced assists minus Angela & Yoguruma. Also, for amusing purposes, looked up the kanji for vomit (嘔吐) and it directly matches the one in the pdf under Yoishi. I don't know why I'm fixated by that :X
  10. I tried it (read the translated light novels up to case 03, unfinished, on the web somewhere as well) and overall loved the "feel" of it. Is it safe to assume we'll get some vomit assist from Yoishi. Also, Angela (Expelled from Paradise) piloting her mech as an assist is what I hope to see. Normally I don't want to speculate too much, but just based off observations from the heroines' titles.
  11. So a Famitsu tweet caught my attention. So NPBZ's going to get Ignis (obviously) and Carnevale's Anna. I have no absolute idea who the assists are minus that one girl from Gen Urobuchi's recent movie: Expelled From Paradise. Here you guys go: http://www.famitsu.com/news/201501/15069567.html
  12. I personally like Kouko, not the best oki compared to Kojou's 5S. I don't have the game yet, but I want to say she's sub-par. Maybe depends character synergy. Personally I feel she's great with zoning-type characters. Neutral 6S isn't as great unless you're backed to the corner and you have to protect her unless you use her as oki. In TC mode, you can do a double jump gimmick and have her come out from the other side, but nothing really special. Reflection guard just kills her 6S as you're pushed away as well. I personally like her with KYH. Will probably use her. Oh and also I love that the opponent loses meter from the "blow kiss" she does afterwards. Not much meter is lost, but it's still pretty nifty. I don't know about Pai though :O

  14. I use them and fail miserably most of the time :V. So even if you bait and block a burst, it'll disappear? If that's the case, that makes it even harder to use.
  15. Just curious. Has anyone tested out if Randomizer works on cross-ups? Would you be able to auto-correct the charge by holding [4] back to block.
  16. Am I doing something wrong. I can't seem to make the 2A into 5B work in this combo: 5A > 5AA > 2AB > 236CD [2] > 2A > 2B > jc jB > jA > jC > 2A > 5B > 5C (2) > 2C > 214AB > 214D > 2AB I can do it fine off a sweep. Dummy keeps teching after the 2A.
  17. So I finally got to try out the game today (still waiting on my copy), and this happened during one of the rounds versus a friend who played Yuzu: I'm spacing with Mortal Slide B vs Yuzu's stance slashes since it reaches longer than A version, but in this instance my friend decides to do ground teleport C which places Yuzu behind Gordeau and instead of MS B, I get a B Assimilation due to auto correction, which actually worked. Would this count as some sort of Option Select? I know it's 50/50 since if my friend did B version, I would've missed and gotten punished.
  18. After reading the observations from you guys and re-watching the trailer, I feel like that shuffle time super? could be weather-related. All those lightning attacks seem to come from rainy weather and in the scans, when it was sunny, you can use sunray-like daggers. Weather System could also affect her grabs then, maybe Sunny will burn them? She definitely looks interesting.

  20. Just so to clarify, her only low is her sweep 2C is it?
  21. I you play Yosuke, I am going to say Seth since they're both speedy characters and are generally good in mix-ups. I don't know too much on Terumi to gauge your choices. I'll just go along with what Hecatom said and just try out the game first. I play Elizabeth in P4A, but I'm going to use Gordeau. There's like no correlation there, so yea ...

  24. I thought I'd do the same thing as others did. So here's a compilation of his normals, specials, and supers to make it easier for you guys. More info on Gordeau's gameplay can be found here I'll post match videos later. If I'm missing anything or something's wrong, let me know. Normals 5A: Low kick to the shins. Fast start-up, short range. Mainly going to use this for tick throw setups (normal & command grab). 2A: Crouching low jab that has more reach than 5A. j.A: Angled downward punch. Your main air-to-ground, though not really needed. 5B: Steps forward and does a punch. Mostly used in pressure strings and combos. 2B: Gordeau's low forward. Pokes his foot out, has good reach. You'll mainly use this as a footsie tool or to OTG your opponent. j.B: Double aerial spin kick. Good for air-to-air approaches. Mostly used in his air combos. 66B: Yakuza kick!! Looks cool. 5C: Slams scythe downwards to the ground. Long reach. Can be blocked in air. 5[C] version hits overhead. 2C: Swings his scythe in an arc above him. Great anti-air and used in combos to launch the opponent. j.C: Ax kick. Your main approach with Assault. j.[C] version slams opponent to ground for follow-up combos. 66C: Shoulder tackle. Causes wall bounce on hit. Looks unsafe, so cancel into 22A. Command Normals 6B: Turning overhead punch. Special cancel-able on hit or block. 3C: Slide kick. Gordeau's main sweep. Great range, but cannot cancel into specials on block. Very unsafe. May be able to low profile certain attacks. ThrowGrabs opponent, punches them and tosses them away. Can be comboed in the corner. You can hold down (4) during grab and Gordeau will drop them onto the floor for a combo. Force FunctionGordeau uses his claws for three long slashes. Huge hitbox and crumples on hit. Opponent can crouch in front to avoid. Not widely used compared to his better specials. Specials 236A/B.C(EX) Mortal Slide: Your main mid to long range spacing tool. Swings scythe outwards horizontally and hooks opponent. If follow-up is not used, opponent will be launched away on hit automatically from pull-in effect. AIR OK. Aerial version does arcing slash below and has launch effect. A version has fast start-up and can be comboed from 5C. B version slower, but slightly longer reach. EX version pulls opponent closer on block and relatively safe. On hit launches opponent into air where Gord does a mid-air Assimilation, kick and finishes with an aerial Mortal Slide. EX-version cannot be Chain Shifted. 236A/B Shade Harvest: Ground version follow-up move to the above.Swings scythe back, pulling in opponent. Can be followed with normals on hit. Unsafe on block. 236 A/B Assimilation: Follow-up after Shade Harvest, Same move for his command grab special. Steals GRD. 623 A/B/C(EX) GRIM REAPER: Gord's DP. Huge ass hitbox that hits all around him and nearly full screen. Can be used as an anti-air since aerial unblockable. Last spin causes wall bounce on hit. EX-version has start-up invincibility. Aerial hit can be followed with 22C. Very scary with meter or Chain Shift. 214 A/B/C(EX) ASSIMILATION: Command grab. Rips out opponent's soul and steals GRD. Can only be followed-up with Chain Shift. EX-version has start-up invincibility. A and EX grabs in front, while B grabs upwards in air. 22A/B/C(EX) Aiming Opening: Slams scythe tip (hook part) to ground. A version is safe. B and EX have follow-up animations and are mainly used in combos. Infinite Worth (41236D)Turbulence: Swag looking super. Swings and twirls scythe like a badass. First hit has a wide horizontal hitbox in front. Has start-up invincibility. Infinite Worth EXSSuper cool animation of a buffed up Assimilation that deals around 3500 damage. Causes GRD Break if not in Vorpal.
  25. You can find them in the in-birth wiki, under each respective player's gameplay section. http://in-birth.wikia.com/wiki/Under_Night_In-Birth_Wiki If you want more detailed information, that'll only be after the game releases, but I hope that helps. LordSpectre beat me to it. Feel free to delete my post.
