  1. I couldn't sleep, so I hopped on netplay for some ultra-lazy casuals. IDK what you guys are doing at 3-5AM and how you manage to play but someone rage quit on me twice because I decided I just wanted to block at 3AM and they got frustrated at Litchi. Then there was this Azreal/Hakumen who bodied me. Netplay unblockables ONOZ. GGs though. Learned a few things by instinct I can do while asleep, I guess. I'm dieing, here, so off to bed I go.
  2. oh yeah, well LK can't win tournaments anymore. Getting hit is definitely bad tho, amirite? #WASHEDUP #WASHED #UP Gimme about an hour.
  3. Will be streaming after dinner - time to try to use new ideas and things. Without a doubt - This has to be the most powerful version of Litchi that is the most different version to version. But I still think she has similar weaknesses to older versions - even though she has tools and techniques to hedge her bets very well. In order to beat her, you will need to understand her moves, cancels, and frame data and have experience and knowledge about who you are fighting.
  4. GGs to everyone. I BEAT A KOKONOE THAT KNOWS THE UNBLOCKABLES AM I YOUR HERO YET?
  5. I need someone for time chambering.
  6. >not in slow motion >inputs not displayed Not what I asked for, but sure, I'll stop asking.
  7. GGs - I don't know where any of you are but I played some people and GGs.
  8. Can someone do me a favor and record the itsuuC and itsuuB starters and midscreen staff hold and release combos in slow motion? I'm not getting anywhere with these today unless I can see them. or if there's videos link me.
  9. So, as of Day 5: I feel pretty good that I've done a lot of things in this version I never did in extend, but when I play the game it bothers me at the difference in skill. Netplay definitely isn't the best vehicle to evaluate skills, and the matches I had against 0 and 1 bars can show that. I really do not like going to very safe BNBs or failing to neutral because of input lag (or input bugs!), but despite all these worries and problems, I'm doing pretty good. The good news is I see a lot of similar mistakes in higher level Litchis, which isn't so bad. Going through the whole cast's challenge and training mode was good and I got a lot of information but need to apply it. I don't have answers to everything, and I'm running into problems those of you who got the game early mentioned. I don't know what you've done to fix it, so I'm on my own figuring it out. Also - after DP knockdown the approach is much more dicey - people usually wake up as you are activating the staff on dash in. LordKnight mentioned this problem but I don't think I ever heard of a solution. My approach is much more weak, and it shows since I haven't been able to make anyone block on wakeup, they get hit or I get hit. I used to feel better about this in Extend where I could start a blockstring or set up Throw/High/Low, but lately there's just no approaching anyone easily. So - my goals for the next week are hitconfirms to my midscreen combos, add a few more of those, and see where I stand fundamentally. I don't know how to fix that other than playing, but as you all know, I've been playing a very long time. I have no idea what to change about that. I also want to take a day or so for a "4B the Universe" event. This move is very good, but using it is more difficult than I thought in training. This character is really good. I feel like I can beat Kokonoe. :D
  10. Yes - netplay really is hella netplay. Most of my matches in arcade lobbies are only slightly better than playing Ranked. It's like, "regional Ranked".
  11. Yes - my JP PSN is Hoshi-Oni.
  12. I *AM* beginner level! Ask anyone here! :D GGs to ExcelBlitzBlue - I'm still trying to figure out how to play vs Tao. I don't understand why you back off so much. You can't 5A or 4B a lot of tao's shenanigans. I'm not sure what to do to defend.
  13. I'm sitting in the netplay arcade - it's lonely at the beginner mode cabinets!
  14. GGs people I played today. I'm mad because I won. WTF DO I DO AGAINST THE BLACK HOLE OMG?
  15. Well, I had something for 75 meter for 5100 damage but unfortunately I forgot what I did to link it all together. What I really need right now are better corner carry confirms or higher midscreen damage. Something is off about trying to keep people in the corner. Either I'm not used to moving yet or the moves are actually different. I'm on Day 3 - learned a lot of stuff these past two days.
  16. GGs - Leave beginners on the beginner cabinets, dammit!
  17. Extend to CP Corner 5B starter: 5B[m] > 2C[m] > 6D(2) > Haku > Hatsu > Chun > 5B > 4B > j.B j.B j.C > 5D > falling j.c > land dash 6A > chinroutou. ~4400 damage
  18. GGs to the couple people I played. It's nice to play anew BB game and everything looks so scary! Not going to netplay so much first few weeks but the Arcade lobby is so cool. Can't tell you how nice it is to play a new game!
  19. Day 0: Litchi is not necessarily easier right now. While her combos seem easier to build and her midscreen potential is higher now that she can do BLAH into super ender, the amount of time you'll have to take adjusting to new Litchi may be a while. I'm gonna be autopiloting a lot of CSE shit. Also - this game IS much harder and the hitstop is MUCH less than before. The videos I've seen do NOT do it justice. You just have to play it be feel it yourself. Anyways, I've got 6 or 7 challenges left to go. I don't think this means much compared to the actual combos and REAL tech. Daisharin is going to be harder to control than I thought. You can't tap D and 4 like I thought. Using it passively is difficult and will take very good timing, using it offensively will take a lot of coordination and practice. It's a good start - I pretty much am trying to discover facts for myself tonight.
  20. I have the game now. Games by request only for the first few weeks.
  21. I prefer using ReachA, Chun, etc. The numbers, while still identifiable, don't represent constructs as easily to me as names. So, the idea is to use constructs to establish patterns - Haku > Hatsu > Chun Which can be generalized to ThreeDragons Works for me.
  22. There was a slight animation on Yukianesa - That was neat. I really do like how they are trying ot show some details in the world, but then can't draw Litchi with a decent face except in close up shots. Also - from before - what is the point in a shot of Noel's chest? :P Also - Lambda! <3
  23. Not sure how exhaustive you guys are training modo-ing, but when my game arrives game you're all invited to hang with me in stream and we can collaborate and collude against the Anti-Litchi efforts going on. I'll have plenty of hours to spend on it, I think.
  24. So in short, they tried to ground litchi. Lordknight notices rising j.c[e] whiffs and that was sad. It's interesting that they made c[m] moves more interesting, although losing JC on hit pretty much reduces options for Litchi. OD 5D homes the staff for one move? Good shit. That makes this easy, then.
