  2. Ahh ok. I think that was it. I was watching hakumen matches mostly last night, so I saw a lot of JB JCs. must be a hitbox thing. thanks again.
  3. yeah i meant 214C. my bad. Moving on to the mixup pressure part of her game now. but i notice N-O using JB JC more than say JA JB for overheads. is it because of the overall better damage?

  5. What are the optimal combos for oki? I've been using most of the challenge combos, since i'm still learning the character, but maybe i'm timing it wrong, cause when I play my friend he jumps out of my 3C into 214 A almost everytime. EDIT: i'm practicing frog 5B 6A 236A dash 3C(1) 236C 6A 4B dash 5CC and it seems like the 3C is pretty tight. pretty tough going to neutral and to 236C without more than 1 hit of the 3C connecting, or i somehow hit forward, even though I don't recall ever pressing that direction when just doing the whole motion and get her 632146C super for some reason.

  7. GGs to everyone i played tonight. Fought a good hazama that totally wrecked me, also witchsaber made me sad for what he did, but I'm not mad at him for doing it i guess.

  10. Yeah Bullet is really fun to use. I was very happy with my results when playing some of the better players online. of course I still got a lot to learn about matchups since the only ones i get to play are Azrael, Hakumen, and Arakune on a regular basis.
  11. Ahh i understand now. my mistake. the combo i'm trying to do is 6A CH, 5CC, 6CC, 236A, J.CC, J.6CC, J.2CC, 236B, J.b, J. 5C, J. 6CC, J. 2CC, 236C. i'm actually getting it to the point where it's at 236C, but now it just seems i'm having height problems =/
  12. I have a question regarding.....i think it's called proration? When i usually get a counter hit with a J. B, J. A on an air hit or a 5B for an anti air, or a 6A for anti-air, usually they fall out of the combo at certain points. I don't understand proration, but do the combos need to be adjusted depending on how many attacks are added prior to using 5C, 6C, and 2C? or maybe i'm just doing my C moves to early or late?
  13. He is one tough character to use, and I lose a lot , but i find him fun. My main problem is I still don't know the range to do his C attacks, hit confirming random hits and I suck at 236D~D after connecting a 6C =(. Thanks about that though. When i played earlier I didn't know why my combos never worked properly after 6A

  15. What are the tools i need in order to add my own art to my eightarc fusion, besides buying new plexi glass? i've never done this before.
  16. yeah now that i use 2b, i get it almost 100% of the time now! that really helps alot. I spent most of the past 2 days just practicing throw combos. Never had to do so much execution in my whole life. Blazblue is very tough to learn for me, since i'm use to only playing 3D games.

  18. amane is pretty weird, but i like the playstyle. i can't seem to land Air hit > 5B(3) > 5C(2) > 6C(1) > 236D~D > 2B > 5B(3) > 5C(2) > 6C(1) > 236D~D > 5B(1) > 236D~B or 6D [DM:2839/HG:20] Most stable route, goes into a drill reset. by air hit you mean amane in the air right? or the opponent in the air? i try to anti air (6a) and only get 1 hit out of 5B. i then assumed you meant on the ground and did j b, 5b, 5c, but it doesn't seem like the 5c combos?
  19. Thanks for these variations of her throw combos! I actually land those combos way more consistently than the one i was trying. thanks alot!
  20. Seems i'm having trouble with throw/airthrow? : dash 5b 2c j.2c 2b 6a 6b 6c I can get it more often on the ground then the air, but geez, it's a pretty tight combo. I can never dash and do 2b in time and when i do i can only get the 6a to connect ever so often. Edit: i can kinda get it now. it just depends on how fast i can do j 2c and the dash command.

  24. I'm not a new player particularly to Blazblue, but I am finally trying to learn the game series competitively(Had it for a week now) since I have so much fun with it. This matchup seems like you need to have good defense in order to even be able to survive in this match. Can't be too aggressive cause that could lead to getting countered; a lot. Atleast from my experiences as a new player. I lose to my friend 9-1 most of the time cause I don't really know what is safe for Hakumen(i try to mash a jab occasionally and get blown up by him cause i'm negative, or Hakumen's 2A is just that fast?) and I also don't know what moves are air unblockable for him, so another problem is knowing when to barrier block. Matchup seems pretty frustrating.
  25. This is some very nice information. Been looking for more varied combos. I tend to stick to more safer hit confirms
