  4. ggs last night boys. Five hours of nonstop action, with 1 hour break somewhere in there. Ugh. Some of my character's attack hitboxes make no sense and makes me mad. And hosts being laggy weren't helping la.
  5. Are you talking about BBCP1.11? If so, yes, you can do three loops of it without magnetism (at the start) and still end it with Grand Punish; however, the timing is really strict. Works better in corners. 3061 before Grand Punish, 3431 after Grand Punish. I've been wondering this as well. I think "BBCP 2.0 Tager Speculation" would be better for now then create an actual 2.0 when it launches. It'd be a better way to separate moreso the facts from the opinions/speculations/hypotheses. Could I or anyone of us just start it ourselves or do we have to just wait for AXIS?
  6. Tager already has pretty good consistent damage. Just not off his 5A/2A anymore.
  7. What if you're already full, yet you want to use the Overdrive? I just stated in my earlier post that it adds more level of strategy and that it reduces the cheesiness from Nu, Mu, Arakune, etc. And the removal of 2 bursts for a rechargeable burst was also an improvement.
  8. Each character is suppose to be unique and differentiated from each other via their signature drive moves. Overdrive just amplifies those signature moves. Let's say everybody's Overdrives in the game were the same: activate it and you get +200% (double damage) to all your moves. Do you know how broken some characters would be? Do you know what we call that? Marvel. Gold Bursts differed in rewards from character to character. Some characters could get better combos off Gold Burst over others, so it's not really the same for everyone. As for Primers vs Crush Trigger, you could get guard crushed under the Primer system just because you're getting cheesed out by like a Nu, Mu, Arakune, etc. Under the Crush Trigger system, it's on you because it's based on reaction and knowledge. Galileo at EVO got away with Crush Triggering against his opponents because not everybody is used to that style and thus lacked reaction. It showed the difference in skills. Under the Primer system, you probably would find yourself holding Barrier Block more often then you should. Under Crush Trigger system, you can be more lenient with your Barrier Gauge. Overall, I say the Crush Trigger system promotes more skills over cheesiness/abusable mechanics. You should really only be saying one. Having both is a little too extreme. If you get unlimited/instant Spark Bolt you shouldn't have a problem getting them magnetized. If you have forced magnetism, then you really shouldn't be rewarded an instant Spark Bolt on the side. It should just be one or the other... Just depends how you want to use it and what your playstyle is like. Some people use it like that, some people use it as a second chance when the clock is low, and some people use it as a reversal. All just opinions and preferences. Overall, you're still sacrificing your Burst in exchange to try to secure a victory game, which is fair. We RPGs/MOBAs up in here now. (My points are my opinionated views and don't necessarily reflect what others may think.)
  9. Thanks. I read some of the stuff on his Twitter, though a lot of it was just his speculations on what he heard from other people before he went to Akiba personally to see for himself. (Reading his Twitter from like Aug 5 to whenever loketests were over was like reading a little story unfold.) Apparently the inputs for doing ODR are tight, as someone here mentioned earlier. I don't know if it was mentioned, but he states that 6B is not jump cancelable (implied: on hit) anymore. Sorry, what I meant by my question previously was: [this technique into 720 is 100% guaranteed to work] and safe. Something along the lines of what Ctrlalt asked: Originally, I didn't think about RC at first, but I first thought about the opponent ODCing. I imagined it being reacted in a sequence where Tager is blocking then ODR while buffering/churning the 720 motion, opponent does ODC, Tager player instinctively pushes C, and then the opponent inputs their super during that super flash. Something along those lines. I kind of wish I was there again to test it, but I kind of don't wish to wait 3 hours in line again. I'm just skeptical about ODR720. I personally think it might be receiving too much attention over other issues at the moment.
  10. Instead of calling it GCOD, it looks like it'll just be called ODR, Overdrive Raid. I'm still a bit confused, but who officially stated that this technique into 720 is 100% guaranteed to work? I'm sorry, I do not follow all the posts in here and only come here to dump info from what I find so if somebody could help me, I'd be much appreciative!
  11. 6B can be used twice in some combos consequently. 5B>3C>wiff AC>5C>6A>6B>6B>4D for example is legal. 6B>6B>5C and such might go into blue beat though.

  13. I personally loved the CP1 Atomic Collider better only because the wiff/Gadget Finger oki-mixup game was real great. :[ 6A ground pull is the same. It's really is. It even LOOKS like a natural overhead, that's my main argument. I don't think it's faster. Looks about the same.
  14. Cannot 2D after Atomic Collider. Tager's 5D gains Super Armor during Overdrive. After 360B, it is possible to Spark Bolt for follow-up. Other moves, like Atomic Collider might be possible.
