  1. Alright, so basically the 5B and the jump need to be executed at the same time, and then follow with a delayed jC and another jB. I notice that the jC seems to done during the apex of the jump and the second jB is done right before Miss Thing lands in some of the videos I've seen. I'm hoping to give that a shot at some point. Thanks!
  2. Alright everyone, a new issue/question. In the console version, Litchi's challenge number 8 has her doing a crap load of stuff in the corner that takes a way half of Bang's health. It's lovely, but I get stuck on this one part. Off the top of my head, the combo goes: 5B, 2C, 6D, 236B, 63214A, A, B, 236B, 236A, 236C, 5B, jBCB, 6C, 623D, and then some other stuff that looks spiffy. The point is, I'm having trouble with the part after you nail the first jBCB. Apparently, Litchi is supposed to land, do the first part of that double kick, cancel with a kote, and then continue the aerial assault. However, I'm having a tough time with that landing. Any tips for being able to do that? Also, can that jBCB, 6C be used mid-screen as well?
  3. Wait, so there are going to be more changes? So soon? O_o
  4. You know what? I never thought of that. I'll give that a shot, as well. XD EDIT: Ho-man-oh-man! Almost getting there. I'm playing it on the 3DS now and, while not very representative of a control pad or joystick, I'm starting to almost get it down. The 4B tip really helped me. Just wanted to update ya'll who have helped me in this...struggle. Back to practice! EDIT 2: Fabulous news. I got one of the challenges that requires the 236C, 66, 5B cleared. While it's no indication that I'll be able to pull off that technique as if it's second nature, it's definitely a start. That 66 4B really helped. @_@
  5. Thanks, ya'll. I think I see what you two are saying. So the input should be jC, then hit 2D while jump cancelling and immediately follow the cancel with j2C? I watched that video and think I've seen some usage of that. Of course, it goes so fast and makes it look so easy that it's hard to learn unless you do a pause every second. XD
  6. That's kinda what I figured. One problem I see is that I end up doing a 6B instead of a 5B because I'm frantically hitting 66. I'll try to just do a 236C, 66, 5B and hopefully I can start getting it down.
  7. "5B 5CD 3C 8D 5B j.C 2D jc j.2C (level 2) B cannon j.C j.C Sword Iris" This is giving me trouble. Just to make sure I'm reading this right, after the second 5B you jump into a C attack (the umbrella) then have the wind send you down, but cancel in the air to another aerial C attack? Then you're on the ground again and shoot a cannon, do two aerial Cs, followed by sword iris? I must be reading something wrong here. @_@
  8. I realize I'm probably beating a dead horse, but I'm still having a bit of difficulty with that dash following 236C. Is it recommended to learn how to read frame-by-frame play in order to get it down? >__>
  9. Well, I'll give it a try. And thanks for the information! ^o^v
  10. That video makes it look so easy. XD Anyways, so by "buffer" I take it the video means to input the 66 JUST before she lands from 236C? I was watching the command inputs on the bottom of the screen and it looks like that's what was going on, but I could be wrong because those combos happened hella-fast. o_o
  11. This seems like a good place to ask this. How essential is it to "master" the dash after you land a 236C? Like in challenge 6, for example. After some lovely Litchi combo-ing, you do 236A then 236C. After that you have to dash into a 5B. @_@
  12. I think it's challenge 8 (and I know for a fact that in the portable version it's challenge 10) where I'm having some new difficulty. After you knock the foe in the air with 6A, you immediately follow into BBL. From that point, you have to do a high jump, then make yourself soar higher with 8D and then slam down on Bang with 2D and 2C. I cannot figure out how much time I have before he recovers. Is that combo used often? I watched a few videos and have only seen maybe one battle where it was applied.
  13. In any fighting game, I usually favor female characters because it fills me with joy beating the snot out of arrogant males. ^o^v Mileena in MK2, Sakura in Street Fighter, Ivy in Soul Calibur. So with Guilty Gear, I knew I wanted to main a female. After seeing just how friggin' fierce I-No was, I went with her and haven't stopped. Regarding BB, I started with Noel in CT, but then moved to Hazama in CS. For CSII, I started with Litchi, but was having a helluva time getting down certain combos. Thus, I went with Rachel. She's fun, she's different and her quotes are hilarious. "Know your place." It also helps that I love tea. XD
  14. Oddly enough, I was able to do it a few tries after I posted this. XD I did it the buffer way and have been practicing with that ever since. I've been pretty successful thus far with it. I doubt I'll use that exact combo though. Using the cat chair makes me nervous. XD
  15. To add to the above post, doing the cannon attacks works wonders on the Tao players who are air happy. It may not be an exciting battle, but it should allow you to continue to counter her lunges until the player gets the hint.
  16. Started learning Rachel yesterday via Challenge Mode. I'm so surprised at how much fun I'm having with her and pulling off some of these combos. :D Got a question though, I've been trying to do some of the challenges in CS2 and there is a part in Challenge 7 that has me stuck. After you knock the foe in the air, you do jC, another jC, 1D and then BBL. He always recovers right before BBL executes. Any hints or tips for getting that timing down properly?
