Hey Jaguar, you got a fb? Lately it's easier for me to stay in contact with people on there. And about this friend I'm planning on bringing... He's a pretty new Lambda, and I don't think he even knows about DL. However, he does play a lot (online) and does fairly well. He needs a lot of fine tuning, but I think he'll turn out okay once he gets over the tournament jitters.

Hey when is the next SC tourney? And how do I find these things out for myself in the future? I need to get back into the BB scene and I'm trying to bring someone else with me. New blood lol.

Hey I would've made it but there was a wedding locally that required my presence. Next weekend is my B-day/ pre-surgery weekend, does anyone know of any tournaments or casuals to help get me in the mood??

Lmao, Umbrella the wolf form, never thought of that. Sounds hilarious. Thinking about it though, the umbrella has a delay, he could go back to Human and block. If I'm in the air (this is what I save all nails for in this fight) D-Nails all day. On the ground...idk depends on range I guess, I like 3Cs a lot.

G-Vegas Beatdown 7 - November 5th 2011 - Greenville, SC

But...how will we know you when we see you?? Are we gonna get some Team Tourney pick-ups after the main one? Who's bringing snacks damnit?! Lol so hype right now. -
Can you not just bait the 6A like you would a DP? I stagger pressure on Valk all the time and it never really gets me blown up. Also it feels like once you get used to the points where he can go from human to wolf in his pressure strings, jumping out/ poking him feels easier. The thing I dislike about this matchup is how fast he can get a Wolf cmd grab out there. And the recovery time on it is almost nonexistent... He jumps a lot, Bangs airgrab range is magical. See what you can do with that.

is there a website I can preregister at? I didn't see it in the thread about G-Vegas, either because I'm not very observant or otherwise. Either way, i'll be there.

I play BB! :D I do Bangu all day everyday...not really. My PSN is Ree301. I live in Sumter SC and i'm planning on going to this G-Vegas thing. Hit me up, we'll have ggs. On either PSN or irl

Played this match-up a bit more. It's causing me to look at the fight a bit differently. She can run away pretty easily, system data says she (along with Lambda) is just about immune to negative penalty. All the while she runs, she can set canons. If you don't hit her before the canons open, they fire and could reverse momentum. I figure nails are most useful in these moments. On a separate note, her DD lasers will are pretty much guaranteed to come out if you don't hit her immediately on startup (I may be reading the Frame Data wrong, if I am, someone correct me please). Also, her overhead 6B hits twice, both hits must be blocked high. This leads into an interesting mixup if she decides to RC the 6B, causing an immediate 50/50. Poison nail air dash...maybe? The best I can do in this fight is get in, bait the DP. But stay patient, she knows you're going to chase her and she'll use j.C's and 2C's to keep you at bay. Stay smart about how you approach.

You can 5D/ 2D sledge in Tagers blockstring? Where and how? Do you need ib or what, because I'm pretty sure you can barely 6C out of that... Anyway, if you miss the timing with that 5D against Mu because either of you adjust, get Fatal'd. I'm not sure about that.

Her 2C is an amazing anti-air. The lasers stress me out since they're like a free combo breaker if those canons are floating already. Her Floating up-orb is a decent cover for her to dash in and begin pressure, it seems similar to D-Nails. Those explosions man, don't treat them lightly, they hit multiple times and stick you in stun for a while, not to mention they take primers. Don't try to roll out of them or you'll get snagged and reset....And is her full charge "Swords of Decimation" (not 6C) unblockable? She's a difficult character to understand and I think that's the overall issue with this matchup. I figure if we go use her a bit in training, we'll be able to see what's high damage, what traps in block stun, etc. and bring the Hammer of Justice down on her head. I personally don't think she's that strong of a character. EDIT: Thanks for the command correction Arik!

I agree with the 2B. It has range, you can jc, and it gatlings tightly into 5B. Personally, I'm never standing on the ground next to Tager when he wakes up unless I'm feeling pretty ballzy. Try a number of things, for instance throw a 2A as he techs, then IAD back A-Nail. Besides, it's not hard to get back in on Tager.
-
I feel like Tager is the one character in the game who is hurt by our Steel Rain. Vs. overaggressive Tager, jump back B nail > Steel Rain. God that's so situational but if it hits, it's amazing. Actual combo, 100 heat, CMD throw RC backdash b.nail (land) umbrella. Though, that depletes all of our nail ammo... Makes me wonder is bleeding Tager with Poison nails really worth it with all that health he has. Some other things I like, ending air combos with purple throws. If he techs, he has no options really. If he doesn't, it's a nice chunk of damage. You can land some ambiguous throws off of a few air combos ending with j.C in the corner. Also, if you're brave, I think 5C hits Tager's crouch hitbox faster than other since he's such a fatty.
-
The shallow airdash A nail glides are so key for me in this matchup. That and when Lambda tries the spinning wheel on my wake up, I 6D out for free. I don't see too many Lambdas brave enough to use her reversal on wake up, but I know it can be a problem to our pressure. Also, i think her j.D, if it whiffs, leaves her falling to the ground, defenseless. Daifunka is pretty invincible. It's worked for me.

While I'm here are there anymore amazing tricks Bang can do? Things that aren't common knowledge more so.
