[CS1-CSE] Road to Ikaruga - The Bang Social thread - Do you even 3c?
BenB replied to DaiAndOh's topic in Bang Shishigami
Oh, right, that's why I couldn't get the combo, the opponent tech all the time |:. Btw I tried that a couple of time, but against some characters, the nail just whiffs, like against Platinum, Carl, Makoto, Litchi, Tsubaki... (didn't try all the character). So, is it me or the C nail doesn't meaty on every characters? -

Can you tell me what combo do you use after the C nail hits? Can't get that 5.5k combo. -
If they are midscreen, a crossup j.4B will do (but you will hit him while he is airborn if it hits early). If cornered, try a j.C 5B meaty setup, if j.C doesn't hit, 5B will. You can also try a well timed C nail, it may work. Just remember that you are never safe against Tager, but an air approach is safer IMO (I got 360A a LOT when I was trying something on the ground). Then again you can try some things by yourself, but remember that 360A > a lot of your ground poke. And as Zeron said, a well spaced 2B will do.

Indeed, do not let her any install meter, if she gets 2 installs she can get away from any okizeme with a safe dragon (aka 623D j236D j214C). If she has those install, try to meaty with 2D most of the time, it "can" beat most of Tsubaki's DP (well, at least you won't be on blockstun, it's a good point). DO NOT TRY to rush her down without any nails. Her 2C is a pain is the ass even if you try to j.4B crossup, it will just fail resulting in giving her a fullscreen 3k+ combo + Oki. And since her 2C is fast, you can't IAD > Air backdash > C nail as she will just block/backdash/back jump. Watch out for her 236D. All nails can beat her 236D but the D version is more reliable since you can stop her in the middle of her move (and get a combo afterward). You can even daifunka into her 236D if you are quick enough, or if you saw it coming (I did it once...feels good man). Be careful, she has a karathrow (6C~B+C) which makes her grab from a long distance (but not THAT long too). It can be really surprising and she will 3k combo in your face ):. You can try to wake up 6D sometimes, but it will lose to any of her move if you try to TP counter her. So I recommand you not try the CH, and make it safe by using the C teleport. Tsubaki will, most of the time, try to 214C after she used jD from a really high height. Only 2 words: MIND IT. You can IB dash 5A or you can try a well timed 5C...Nah, forget it :v. jA is really good against Tsubaki's air moves, from what I saw. She may try to 214D after a 236D when she has 2 installs or more. Don't make it touch you. That's pretty much all I have, you'll have a lot of work, especially since her 236C is positive on block (if you don't IB).

TK D-nails like A and B nails? Wtf Arc Sys, like C nail was good enough for keeping the pressure, man if Bang's nerf is even worse than in CS2 I'll switch main for sure, TK.D-nails was a fun part of his gameplay, why do they change it? (And thus, Bang entered the Tager tier. The End) -
What is the combo you do after BBL? 214A 236A dash 3C 236A (George hits) 3C 214C dash 3C 214A/B ? Is there a setup like that in a situation when you don't use BBL?
-
Yes I meant 5B 6A 5B sorry, thank you for your advices, I'll try to find that video out!

Hi, I'm new to Rachel and learning her combos atm. And I already have trouble with one of her bnb that is 5B 6B 5B jC 2D jc j2C (level 2) 236B jC jc jC j214C, i'd like to have some advices: -How to make sure the j2C (LVL2) will hit the opponent? I usually hit with a j2C LVL1 or the hit whiffs, any tips on the timing? -When I ACTUALLY got to hit with j2C LVL2, I cannon B but then I have trouble following with jC, does it have to matter with where the opponent is in the air? To make things clear, I'm training on Hazama (dunno if the combo is universal or not) Also, can this combo be done from a 2A starter?
-
I already know that, but what are the chance of grabbing someone while you're in FRKZ? What I wanted to point was an activation setup for the FRKZ + a good damage combo afterward, that's all.
-
Okay so I did read all the thread to see if this combo wasn't posted already, and I'm pretty surprised it didn't. (Corner) 6D (CH) > (d.)5C > 623B > 5B > 6C > J.4C > J623B -> daifunka 5236 damage, 1 seal -> 5B > j.AB4C > j.4CC 4298 damage, 1 seal (Midscreen) 2D (CH) > 5C > 6D -> Supa crash 2582 damage, 2 seals -> Daifunka (can also do 2C (CH) > Daifunka for an eventual burst mind) 4632 damage, 2 seals (4075 damage without 5C > 6D) (Corner) 2D (CH) > 5C > 6D > 623B >5B > 6C > J.4C > J.623B -> 5B > J.AB4C J.4CC 4661 damage, 2 seals -> Daifunka 5545 damage, 2 seals Btw DLM I tested your combo, aaaaand I think I'll stay with the regular airthrow combo, I have a lot of trouble landing that 5A after the B-nail whiff. That's pretty much all. If someone has a decent 6D (CH) midscreen combo, i'll take it. Oh and another combo I see from a japanese Bang player (Midscreen, on standing opponent) 5B > 2B > 6C > jD > d.2B > 6C > J.4C > J.C (RC) > J.4C > Ashura does 3536 damage, takes 100%. It was performed on a Litchi, I know it works against Tager, but I didn't try the other characters.
-
I see! I'll test something out tomorrow to see if you can do the 6.2k combo in the corner with only 50% meter, thanks!
-
Really? Can you get the opponent slowly falling down like a RC would do? Can you combo with 5C > 6D afterward? (Sorry about asking that, can't play right now :/ )
-
I was testing random stuff and I found out that you can combo after RC an airthrow... So here are some comboes: airthrow RC (as soon as possible) dash 5C > 6D > Daifunka, it does around 4.9k and works midscreen, you can also AT RC > daifunka for a 4k non burstable combo. On the corner: AT RC (dash) > 5C > 6D > 623B > 5B > 6C > j.4C > j.623B > Daifunka, does around 6.2k (you can finish by a classic ender like jC if you don't have enough meter) And a bonus combo (put it on a real match and you'll be my new god) AT RC > FRKZ > double gold burst > challenge n.10 combo does around 9.6k and uses 150% meter :B If tried to find a midscreen FRKZ combo out of a AT RC which could make big damage, but I always ended up doing around 5k-6.5k D: And I hope this wasn't found before.

So, I got to play against a really good Noel a few days ago, it was all about beating anti-air attacks and no rush down at all. TK.623B is pretty good for "zoning" but you shouldn't use it too much, else the Noel player will just faint a dash to do a back dash and then 5k combo you ): . She may try to wake up 4D sometimes. You can try to 2D into her 4D which makes a clash. Then cancel the clash with anything to beat her up :B . You can try to j.236C really close to the ground, like, after an airdash, that may bait some (ground) "approach", you shall be really close to the ground and time it well if you don't want to eat a 6A. Wake up 6D isn't a really bad idea (well, against almost any characters too) but like always, she can either wait for it or grab :/ . That's pretty much all I can tell, also Noel's pressure is...horrible. Never ever try to IB 5A her normals. (And once again, sorry for my so-so english :v )

Sup guys, I've got several questions since quite a long time ago, so here they are: -tk.623B is cool and stuff, but how do you use it properly? Because when I try doing it in matches all the time but all i got are whiffs/getting countered :v -Can you do the tk.623B by using an other "setup" than 6923B? (I guess not but oh well) -How do you usually use bumpers? All I can "do" with them is put one on the corner on a good height to get extra corner damage. -Can Bang do anything against anti-air moves? I mean, by not using shuriken at all. -By knowing that you can counter someone on wake up if he tries to grab you, does a well timed 2D can be the perfect meaty? (like, invulnerability and stuff) I hope you guys will help me out answering those question (: Oh and, since my english is so-so, I'd like you to know that I'm sorry if I made your eyes burn.
