Also, yes, you can still update to 1.06, Aja had the foresight to put downloads on their nonfunctional website you can still download, it will update a clean install to 1.05d and then from there you download another patch to get to 1.06.

Yatagarasu was never vaporware, it was constantly being updated and is still getting a 3DS port.

No, I'm saying you're overstating K` and stating really basic shit that everyone does. Even if you specifically mean the command dash I could still bring up Duo Lon, Goro, Athena, and everyone with a running command grab.

Or you can hit low, which is the go to pressure option for basically every character in the game and pretty much how you play KoF. If your checklist for being "Lambda" is fast movement and hitting low, 90% of the roster is Lambda.

Same reason people hate XIII, it's a combo game with a weakened focus on neutral game and fundamentals. I don't generally mind 02UM, but Vanilla 02 has its own problems that give people reasons to hate it, although the Mexicans love it because of Vanessa and Angel. Basically, people love 98 because it is everything 02/UM is not, simple, to the point, and all about being a better player. A lot of his moves were made worse or less safe. His DP is butt, he has a hard time legitimately frame trapping people, basically all he has are some halfway decent normals. Probably the one major strength to him is his ability to convert any stray hit into a full HD combo, even anti airs, but in most areas he's outclassed by a lot of characters. He's not bad by any means, but it's a situation where why would you play K` when you can play ________ and get better results for playing the same way.

You forgot Chizuru. Also, Chris and Yashiro weren't exactly better than other characters, they were just popular choices. Except the people who hate 02.

Whether they remember it or not is kinda irrelevant, wouldn't you think? If it had playable online we could spread the word about it and get people to try it out. If they hated the first game (and for good reason at that), we would just let them know Revolve is a completely different game made by a different company. I think if people would give it a chance they'd like it.

Maybe we should bombard Mauve with begging to make a caster for it. Playable online is the only way I see anyone being able to revive this game.

Sega put out a C&D on a Streets if Rage fan game that was 100% completed. Furthermore, the group that made it only did so to GIVE IT to Sega so they could release it and do whatever they want with it, and Sega still shut them down.

There is currently no means to play the game online, making purchasing it pretty much a waste of your time and money.

So as it turns out Devil Daigo is secret god tier. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ythgGHuMRM Decided to boot up Revolve again for old times sake and as it turns out, Devil Daigo can air dash cancel (infinitely, I might add) his j.f+C on block or hit, and his DP+B can also be canceled by any air move or air dash on hit, which leads to this combo here. DP+B air back dash cancel j.C whiff to hit the ground faster st.C super st.C xx DP+B xx j.f+C. Trying to find better midscreen applications, but this is pretty good. Nope. No boxer yet. Still in beta for the time being, so eventually there could be. I was hoping this game would go open beta on the 16th, but it looks like it's going to maintain the randomly generated beta key access, which is incredibly lame. If it wasn't for the beta key, I could get anyone in the game.
