I consider 6D > 214A oki after 236A/B midscreen the best thing to do so far. Though what I've been doing is 6D > 22B depending on the character. This gives me time to react to what they're doing and respond accordingly.

Came up with this OD combo off 6B going to try optimizing Midscreen, 3.4k Damage 24 HG OD lvl1 6B(2) > OD > 662C > 6C > 9D > 236D > 66B > 22A > 66[A] > J.B > J.C > 6D > 236D > 236B Setup afterwards is 6D > 22B and react to the situation from there to your liking.

5a 5b 5c are jcable 2a 2b 3c are your lows Almost everything goes into 6B j.b(1) can be cancelled into j.2c(w) for a low if they're expecting the second overhead. There are a lot of ways to pressure with her, you just gotta be creative and mix it up. gravitons, fireballs and instant overheads etc. lots and lotsa ways.

Lich, Eshi, Miheko I see the errors of my thinking now. I wasn't thinking about all of that. Thanks for setting me straight. I have been educated.

This is pretty much what some people here have been saying. I don't really think she needs a nerf at all. Her flaws are huge flaws. I was suffering FOREVER fighting a valkenhayn. People are really getting mad about UB setups when the character hasn't even been out that long yet. Tsubaki had UBs, Valk has better 50/50 game that doesn't require meter or a graviton to convert off of, her zoning/lockdown isn't as obnoxious as it seems. I would actually compare her to rachel. Her grounded mix-up meterless and without a graviton set isn't super scary in the least. You can easily react to her overhead 6B and someone doing j.2C off a jcable normal can also get fucked because it's easily AA'd or blocked. I just don't think she needs a huge nerf and certainly not a ban anywhere.

Sorry about last night, Toan. My power actually went out multiple times last night for whatever reason and I could never get back on. GGs though, I'll be needing more Nu experience, since I have next to zero.

holy shit that video. that is godlike. my corner throw combo so far is Throw > 5D > 236D > 8.J.BC > J.2C(w) > 2C > 236B > 5B > 6[A] > 22A (Here you can attempt to do 214A flare to keep them blocking in the air if they air tech.) Alternate ender is .............236B > 5B > 6[A] > 236C [ice] > RC 3D > 22B > Mix-up

I'll test whether ot not it's safe hold on. lol 236D pushes them the fuck away before they can do a damn thing. IB'd J.C and failed to DP IB'd 236D and failed to DP. At worst, you go back to neutral.

Seems to be the case so far midscreen. I'm still experimenting myself in the corner.

you just gotta get those creative juices flowing. once you figure out how things work, you just start putting together pieces and see what works.

Only challenges I skipped and didn't do were 24# and 28#. I'll come back to those later. it's lab time now.

She has her flaws. Lack of Reversal options without meter (Though, you have teleport, but it can be mashed on. Just gotta learn how to use it.) Slow normals Jump-ins aren't super great She's squishy as fuck. I was fighting Valkenhayn for an hour or two last night. Shit is suffering once you're forced to block. ;~; But yeah this is a really fun character. She shits damage, has some cool mix-up. PINK, GREAT COLORS. She's a setup character, though. Means she's not super brainded imo. You do have to think as you set shit up. There's a set range on her teleport until a Graviton comes into play. That's when she teleports to/behind the Graviton.

Lately, I've been trying to work instant blocking into my game. So far it had bred many good results as I'm punishing things I usually wouldn't punish before. My only issue here is that sometimes I get hit while trying to instant block during strings. What I've been doing is tapping down back before I think a hit is coming, but sometimes I get hit anyways and then combos happen. I believe I'm hitting down in the process and getting hit since I am no longer blocking. What I'm asking is what's the technique behind instant blocking consistently? I've seen player ib every hit in a string no problem before.

Cross-ups are cross-ups in this game. They depend on the Axis and the hitbox. someone has to jump behind the axis to generate a cross-up move. In addition, the hitbox also has to be hitting behind that axis. This considers your character on the other side, and thus you have to block that way. There's no holding any direction to block in this game. It's all about whether the you/the opponent has moved behind the vertical axis that defines left/right facing and *then* then hitbox touching you on that side. TL;DR - Character location defines cross-up. More often than not, you'll be walking toward the opponent when they cross you up because I'm assuming, you're holding back to block an overhead. They cross you, your 4 turns into a 6, which moves you forward and you get hit.
