5cx8 is really working for me well -- thanks~~ and Im actually managing to get a few of those corner combos in online (which blows my mind cause they are so damned tight -- I never feel this pressure with mu12 inputs maybe cause im so used to her) I was having trouble with TK corner crescent saber constantly turning into spike chaser or TK calamity sword but after careful review Ive noticed I was not pausing long enough when going to 7 (2147) - a slight pause or exaggerated input does wonders for me though - about sickle storm oki -- Im afraid I only somewhat understand -- perhaps "someone" can show me over XBL -- because i still feel it missing -- unless you think you can dumb down your explanation for me lulz I know im free to do whatever -- but Im not innovating lambda very well so Im gonna need some tried and true templates

I'll be on later today -- what time where you thinking? I never said we were friends mac

It seems like 4b is slightly more timing intensive than 2c -- but the rewards are there -- and I should probably try to utilize it as a combo tool -- not only for mixups.. Im glad you started another combo notation with 2b -- it confirms an idea I was musing over last night about how to lead into corner dmg ... you cant always just land with an Act Parser... I was going over the frame data because starting the corner combo with 3c was just so tight... It looked like the 2b starter would be a better idea (and it worked easier too - yay for overlapping murakumo skills) Now that I have this fairly well under my belt another thing Ive been wanting to learn is what are preferred movements and mixups for sickle storm oki (assuming they wake up with block) Ive seen a variety but am failing to recreate it solely on my own
-
*double post* since its been a few days --- Toan Ive managed to master the combo you suggested to me -- but with the variation that I TK crescent saber (for skill up) -- however I find that when I autopilot the combo I cross under with 2C -- instead of 4B -- is there any reason I shouldnt?

thats like... 50% of the fun for me... if everything stayed very much the same between iterations -- where would the challenge be? relearning creates new methodology and tactics and can easily open your mind to concepts previously unrealizable (is that a word?) feats -- part of the fun of fighting games (me) is the threat another player can create... The greater the threat the greater my gain will be from the fight (.... sigh DBZ..) ... When the threat of other players diminishes .. so does my interest in the game -
A stein set that is cancelable into a jump from Ikutachi would be pretty great I actually went back and watched the few games we had (since it was you i recorded them) and to my surprise (well it shouldnt surprise me ) you basically enacted in those matches exactly this form of your advice - really it was quite helpful

I appreciate the quickie combo list and info guys -- after 600+ games I think Im ready to start gettin technical with my second murakumo~ I actually hope to sub-main her eventually beating out my jin in terms of skill/effectiveness ~but we'll see what happens~

Could I please get some direction on preferable TK ball usage? Now that I can reliably do it

I dont mic in lobbies much myself - and assuming ppl can use vent on an iphone/touch/android/ w/e is kinda a bad idea due to the fact that maybe ppl dun have them =/ I cant relate to the crappyness of PSN chat rooms since the XBL ones are pretty good (until they blow up) but Ive heard ppl say similar things as you have - solving the communication issue may not be possible because of the platform weaknesses -- (strictly casual setting speaking) Like Iora had everyone log into his IRC(?) channel for his recent tournament and it was fun to chat with ppl and be greeted by the scene (even by ppl I thought disliked me) which turned my perceptions around abit. Now everyone didnt stay in there the entire time but there was plenty of fun to be had - so something like that might be similar (its easier to txt on the IRC than with your arcade stick over PSN or maybe even the pad) -- again this is assuming ppl have access to a device of some sort (comp - phone) and Im pretty sure it uses minimal network resources -
Ahh the fate of the eternal sub

That made me laugh .... Attitude wise this really perplexes me .... but leonil and I have been discussing things -- I think it has alot to do with ppl being so "passionate" about the game or their attachments to it (like me for example : I play mu who reminds me of my wife ... when I lose in games I play using her I react like this : http://youtu.be/V46KYxFav24?t=18m26s) Though I rarely share the hate with anyone lol -- I think many ppl do relieve themselves in many colorful ways Vent ... dont you need a comp for that? ( i really dont know ) skype is a TERRIBLY BAD IDEA -- never use skype or leave it on while your playing online -
@_@

I just dont know it -- thats all really

Thats a serious issue right there -- as I just participated in an online tourny and lagged (lost) to stayfree whom I had never lagged against before -- not to mention the several other people who complained of the same thing-- the problem is it "seems" to be impossible to determine whats behind those problems-- and then it gets even harder as people become "invested" then become angry of what they believe they are entitled too -
Im loving the stupid simplicity of this

oh someone-- teach me lambda corner combos plzzz ... most notably uhhh... the ones after Act Parser B

So is your main point to increase general netplay hype? Not to mention civil behavior and general good sportsmanship and competitions? I guess the "easy" thing to say is : bb is in a slump right now -- itll pass as we get closer to CP (kinda true though isnt it?) Its hard to be more of a netplay warrior than myself but it seems hard to convince the majority of haters and whiners that stopping their ridiculous behavior would be beneficial to us all... "haters gonna hate" Anyhow about being more productive.... If I have one suggestion: I have little exp with PSN right now ... so I dont know what your scrub scene is like... but one thing I know that helps (even if they end up with their heads in their asses later..) is supporting and training new(ish?) players (relative) - Ive trained a few myself and some of them have turned out pretty impressive and skillful - not to mention still playing in fact I may already be doing something like that again unintentionally ... but I know for a fact that there are people out there that are NOT aware of DL and could benefit from the scene and breathe alittle more life into it just by joining one at a time --somehow -- people are still "just" buying EX -- and I remember being new... I would have loved for some more experienced guy to actually take the time to teach me some basics, instead of bodying the fuck outta me over and over -
Leonil called it "jump install" -- although that may be just his own term for it
-
You can jump install in BB -- for example : ragna 6c (on block) + jump install to allow you to perform specials afterwards (6c >hells fang/gauntlet hades) -- since all hyper jumps are special cancel-able I would use mu12 as an example but for the life of me ... I cant find anything of hers that ISNT special cancel-able Its also quite interesting to me since like ragna's 6c they are both 2-part moves
-
Im absolutely sure it can be punished -- thats not what I was wondering -- Im interested in the validity of either option and possibly usage
-
Dude he was obviously having an orgasm seeing that mu player choke vs tager rofl --- http://youtu.be/qWQKxKl3Q0Q?t=7m12s

With people already so used to SoD post 6b that should create some hesitation ..... do you think its plausible to jump install from the new 6b ? or really just simply stein cancel? oh right I almost forgot -- Ive been working on Tk'ing ball and laser now for alittle while -- its surprisingly easy to input (and cock up) but anyways can you give me some advice on Tk ball application? so far Ive been canceling from a stein and canceling one of your standard mix ups (2a 6a 2b 6a.... ball)
