Nemesis replied to SirRouzel's topic in Zepp Museum
Thank you very much for all the time you've taken to RIP all this stuff for us and our various needs, if for whatever reason you feel like you need an XBONE or PS4 version of the game to finish your rip I would be willing to sponsor it for you. Also ENG VOICES WHEN OMG I HAVE MODS TO MAKE -
Any direction that takes us away from the one we are currently on

Mu-12 activatable homing steins.... with a fancy new stance showing off her delicious curves~

maybe its not their fault but that serves are a cold reassurance for everyone who is forced to play in that bad connection who cant possibly adapt to it in time to perform in the tourny and im talking about shitty connections - where as the players with the bad connection have been playing in it more than long enough to learn to deal with it. So with that kind of approach the host is serving the few with a bad conn and the many with decent conns are just fucked either way - open conn enrollment is a sure fire way to keep top players away from your tourny

[CPEX] Blazblue: Chronophantasma Extend News and Gameplay Discussion 3.0
Nemesis replied to Anne's topic in BlazBlue Gameplay
This sounds like a fine idea If they toned down the combos but allowed for lengthier ones with some flare due to great personal skill thats what would be optimal in my book also customized intros or tag stuff would be BIIIITCCCHIIIINNNNN -
Heres a pet peeve unique to CP EX -the FUCKING system mechanic where if one person doesnt ready up for the fight - it skips them BOTH - its a real dick move to exploit as well and NO ONE respects it either - ppl will just ready up on your turn cause you got fucked by some lil faggot who is off taking a dump or wants to fuck you over
-
Sometimes those are legit reads - but no less annoying

Can you elaborate on your specific meaning for 5b as a counter poke ... like its great to use to punish an opponents bad decision? Cause 5b in neutral seems to be lacking in the poke dept comparatively speaking to 2b (due to it wiffing on some crouching opponents) and 5c (distance poke)
-
5b as an antiair is about as incorrect as it gets

Have you been comparing it with the ps3 version?? Cause if net latency is much improved on ps4 that's already enough to convince me -

mashing 5a/2a during Ragna pressure is a sure fire way to eat his favorite mixup - Gauntlet Hades or 2d 2a and 5b are both terrible choices to defeat Ragna Jump-ins - assuming I understood you correctly - 6a is mindbogglingly safer and have a nice recovery Aggressive dashing DPs with Mu is infinitely more risky in this version than it has ever been before due to stein nerfs - It can be done effectively but as an expert in doing it myself even I do it far less than before. The reward is rather minimal and the risk is tremendous w/o heat, this is something you shouldnt do without extensive mastery of the timing/input speed and ability to read your opponents compulsive mid-game behavior Mu Dp Will beat Ragna DP if you execute it enough times - usually x2-3 is all youll need to beat a Ragna player's auto 623c inputs but it requires you to be ready - in the case of a clash war, Ragna ID will eventually put him above mu-12 thus making his DP mash impossible and he will fall into ours - not an easy thing to master in live games I dont know about invul frames but J.DP should work vs Ragna ID the same assuming your timing isnt off As for tips - always be 100% all the time aware that Ragna can and will cancel his normals into Gauntlet Hades for the easy mixup, see that coming and blocking it is fairly essential. And watch out for Ragna players that love to mash their J.aaaaaaa on you in the air - especially if they are below you or have you in the corner and your focusing on trying to escape. Not to mention Ragna players may often opt for 5a as their antiair/cross up defense so if your fighting someone like that make sure your spacing is good with j2c's or jbs, dont jump in with Jc unless you really know your shit. Ragna players also like to reset their pressure with bloodscythe or deadspike when they have been pressuring you and been pushed back to the appropriate range - due to their start up both of these options of theirs can be punished or provide you with an avenue for escape - but due to Ragna enjoying near limitless gatling in this version observing his cancels to punish/escape is almost entirely based upon the habits of the player using him... not to mention his sped up 6b... Keeping a clear head when cornered is absolutely essential and its important to note that despite Ragna's great normals and good pressure game he still has to respect our wake up. This can lead out to many different scenarios : They disrespect the wake up by trying to meaty/mash on us and get DP'd / you observe the habit and DP them later for it They respect the wake up and keep their distance - usually right inside of our 5c range (but possibly their 5b range) - time your wake ups carefully! One of my favorite techniques to squashing opponents corner pressure is to quick tech/neutral tech with careful timing and dash the DP into their waiting block (as players often like to stand right out side of DP range) RC Cross up and put them on the defensive. Not an easy maneuver ! But it is fairly doable and there isnt alot they can do about it on reaction

with all the fuss of learning and unlearning New Mu I legit completely forgot about that option - Thanks Poncho!
-
That was exactly what I was poorly trying to explain but ... thx @ swd and skd for doing what i legit cant Sigh... I have that Naruto level brain That is some impressive Terumi Play
-
I guess you dont read... swd and I were agreeing about execution requirements for high, that is, well above average play, or expert play. And how iza and valk are very taxing comparative to the rest of the cast due to the speed and demanding timing of their inputs required for expert play... not about bnbs or just what it takes to be "good" with a char. not about how many ppl use the ez combo and are fine or how many jp players dont and not about looking stylish and not about if a char has oki or w/e tools (and btw being "different" is how you seperate yourself and surprise players of any given skill thus - higher lvl play)... sigh...
-
Having attempted Izayoi higher level play I can attest that it is very hard on your hands given the ridiculous input speed required to pull off much of her best stuff. Usually hand cramps tend to not be so common when you become more proficient with whichever particular maneuver but with Izayoi It really doesnt. I mean have you tried to master her gain art micro dashing and couple that with endless 214s and 236s as fast as fucking possible? That shit hurts to do after awhile... Besides Ive not seen one highly competent netplay Izayoi that had even manages double phorizors(1.1 or greater) aside from myself, much less her high execution stuff... Perhaps the "inputs" themselves may not appear to be so demanding but they are very taxing on your hands/wrist after even a short while
-
you mean because it breaks your fingers to play them at said high lvl
-
wait I thought your main was Tsubaki....
-
^Actually just this... This is SUCH a cocktease
-
You mean the ppl who already preordered and paid for it? We cant access the game yet

Np glad I could help - just like I embraced Mu-12's point of view - so you do too with Litchi's - she may not be popular with all her friends in the BB story but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. ( I think that sums up Litchi pretty well actually) Also any "friends" who outright refuse to play you cause of Litchi - arent really your friends - just say'n Also - AGAIN - dude your in the UK - dont you have a resident rockin Litchi player? EXonestar or something? Hes a great guy you should meet up
