I'll be online still in an hour I imagine and its been a long time since we had a set Oh thats right now ... uhh confirm if your still interested
-
Its because relius is forced to - mu has horizontal superiority - 5c/2c/j.c/j2c - SoD - etc Not to mention steins interrupting his movement if placed properly
-
I have a 3bar with heartless but he will never fight me - I cant even remember if hes any good I dont know about how strong of a counter pick it is but Mu's Tools can shut down relius' easier - not to mention her horizontal superiority really messes with relius
-
I see what you did there~

This right here is the most important aspect of all - if you can hold on to this passion then it will see you through all the tough times - including what your going through now Theory Fighting and In the moment application are really 2 different beasts - so try to recognize that just because you understand something on paper doesnt mean that youll be able to learn it quickly or even apply it well Im gonna let you in on alittle secret - my mind is semi blank most of the time I fight too and thats the way I like it... that is unless I am reacting to stimulus (which is all the time but that takes only a fraction of a second of processing power) but otherwise my mind is pretty blank while I fight and I suspect its not too different for other players. The point being that with a blank/clear mind you can devote that Free resource to w/e you want to do... Now if you mean Deers in the Headlights Blank stupidity, then yes I understand and thats a matter of desensitizing yourself to the strong emotional effects of the competitive play (aka its all in your own head). Like everyone has already said - take the time to desensitize yourself and play the game. See Everyone above has basically told you what you need to do but imo not WHY you need too or HOW it can change things. I spend alot of time dealing with the psychological aspect of fighters so I'll share what I think I know... When I pick up a new character I spend a fair amount of time drilling the use of normals and understanding how those normals revolve into other moves (other normals, when/if I can jump cancel, special/DD cancel, and etc) Thats how I start... Once I have a basic mastery of the normals (by which I mean when I see someone jumping in and I want to "antiair" I will instinctively press the right combinations to get the desired result. This is not to say that I always achieve a perfectly timed result but that it resides within an acceptable margin for error) I move on to basic BnB combos, spend alot of time in training mode/AI to hone like 1 or 2 combos TOPS-- I create little challenge modes for myself like "How many times can I successfully complete 2/3rds or the combo w/o a drop" or "complete the combo 5 times successfully w/o a drop or start over" and not to mention both 1st and 2nd player sides mastery. I find that this stage is the most difficult one - that mentally I am so focused on "get that proper hit confirm to start the combo" that my neutral suffers alot. I honestly believe that its REALLY BEST to NOT THINK about it very much - Dont focus on trying to get THAT PARTICULAR COMBO to land otherwise your mind will be so busy processing that attempt your gonna be already mostly dead. Work that combo in your mind so hard it becomes literally muscle memory and you can do it in your sleep - while your at a RED LIGHT waiting for it to go green you can visualize your stick in your hands and do the inputs (as correctly as possible). Hell if you can visualize doing the combo while getting a Blowjob your right were you need to be! Muscle memory is just the most important part of the game - get those combos/tech so ingrained that no matter what random ass confirm you get - you can do the combo off of it - or at least PART OF IT- and youll be well on your way to feeling super comfortable in no time (or better yet - even if your nervous you'll still do the combo). Yea online/offline can be stressful - I totally agree... but the idea is to work it in so deeply into muscle memory that WHILE YOUR DOING THE COMBO your actually devoting the majority of your processing to what will happen after its over and how you will deal with it - or how many options your opponent has after the combo and how your gonna deal with that! TL;DR - Grind Simple combos over and over and over (you can win with simple small combos and dont be too proud to use them either) until you can watch the awesomest boob-tastic hentai while doing said combo without even needing to look at the screen <3 I suggest Kyonyuu Fantasy (turn the hentai volume way up and the game volume down for "proper immersion therapy") You get a self applied bonus for doing it one handed

Seems I missed out on some rockin fun tonight... Ill just have play Final Destination, close my eyes, and imagine just how horrible it must have been for poor haru

if your really that interested then the best I can remember are things like : "There goes your average netplayfuckwad" "you can ask anyone about xxxxx he sucks balls - like a faggot" "you only won vs me cause you cheated you faggot lagger" etc etc - not totally accurate but close enough to the source material that you get my drift - I was alittle taken aback myself but... henjin.. you were there yourself that evening and you didnt notice? We even had a small set ourselves im almost sure that was the night i took notice of your air Jx.D OD combos ... and he was ranting on about fuckwad this and faggotnetplayers that... I had debated taking pics for future reference but I decided it wasnt worth the small effort and just log him as a random lil black racist kid - or someone TRYING to appear that way But I can hardly say this is the first time Ive seen this individual rage on like this...
-
ahhh so thats the jin player you mentioned in the other forum~ best not to bother getting involved - you should have seen him rip on ppl that one day everyone was mysteriously in the online lobby - the kid wouldnt stop talking shit about everyone -except that one guy who was agreeing with him until he "accidentally" won vs duncan... lol

Your forgetting creamymancandy as well

omg your Tsubakus... If only our connection was alittle better - we would have some rocking ass whoopin games ... maybe theres more i can do.. but I digress Ive seen you use Tsubaki's OD in neutral to great effect more than a few times - thats a difficult skill you've managed to fabricate for yourself. Not to mention it works great with Tsubaki gauge builder Having only just started recently playing Hakumen I can semi understand your reasoning but simultaneously I want to tell you to try to compensate and predict that kind of movement from the player and therefore use it against them. It certainly is possible and your absolutely right when you assert that a raw activation of a OD (Especially with Hakumen) will immediately prompt a behavioral change from your opponent. Heres my best advice for what its worth - youll have to do your best to translates usefulness to yourself though... One of the ways I developed with Mu-12 is to deploy a great number of steins in the opponents direction WITHOUT ANY THOUGHT TO THEIR PURPOSE The entire idea that I eventually developed (and later greatly refined and introduced actual thought to stein deployment) was literally to induce a radical behavioral change in my opponent. I dont throw out a bunch of steins for no reason ... or just to so I can press D - The point is to make them suddenly change they way they play by changing the environment. That sudden shock (much like an OD activation) can really mess with the psychology of someone in their comfort zone who is playing you. My advice is learn how to categorize players based upon their style, compulsive habits, but most importantly is how they react to stimulus... for example : Nemesis (Mu-12 Player) Subject utilizes high mobility and combined with excessive stein usage (with DP defense) to deter reckless jump-ins/rush-ins Counter with proper projectile cutting and Haku-drive to lessen impact of stein fire and deter further use Subject usually performs a rush-down after significant stein resources are deployed - combined with Totsuka Blade Counter with Observing the Totsuka pressure and properly timing Yukikaze Counter with Counter Assault to halt the subjects pressure prematurely - forcing a downed status - proceed with raw OD Subject statistically reacts to raw OD with ROLL TECH when downed (<------------thats gonna require some trail and error to really understand) Counter with Observing the roll direction and immediately re-application of pressure/and/or OS (if hakumen has any) Subject has known issues regarding haku-pressure - Observe Subject's heat-gauge and prepare for DP attempts Counter/Punish DP attempt - Proceed to combo ---- Now this is ... a shallow representation of my gameplay versus a hakumen - as best I could simulate if I were on your side (or easily enough - mac's point of view) since this is hardly the first time Ive had to do that... The point being is write stuff down! and yea it really helps - even if you are "self described casual" so just casually write it down and youll find some amazing results down the road Did you ever watch Naruto? See the episode were Sasuke fights Naruto at the Valley of End (or w/e the fuck its called)? It had "higher" production value and was the first time naruto got the nine-tails cloak and Sasuke's Sharingan opened up the third... thingy in his eye - and he was all like "I can see it" over and over he said that in that fight - and I can attest thanks to my habits of assessing players Ive been able to "see it"

younger and/or more immature people like to take it as some kind of a personal insult. No matter how practical the Astral might be or it was the best shot of winning you could make or you mashed it out or you MEANT for it to be painful - people by far in large want to quickly take offense to something and social justice warrior themselves into feeling bad/better w/e... Its just the kind of butt hurt society we are becoming thanks to ... literally a shit load of things. (dat double buttjoke...) But seriously - even I have raged AVGN style at getting astraled - it seems to have greater effect when it comes from someone you dislike/hate/rivalry Some astrals tho no matter how much I cant stand the person never bother me even alittle bit cause they are such a good show... like Bang's ... or Azrael's Its just so fucking manly I always end up smiling and muttering (that piece of shit I'll make him pay for not letting me be angry about this loss...) I for w/e reason totally dont understand this

pfff jin players... "pushing it to the limit"
-
GGs to my room again Somehow I seem to infinitely attract kagura players no matter what - I swear I'll never find more of them in any other room than my own its some kind of special power....
-
Thats the attitude thats helped me come so far - ppl underestimating you cause "netplay is irrelevant" and I wasnt upset - It was a fun video~ I know sarcasm is a bit hard to judge over text but cmon man...
-
I didnt say respectful I said players you need to "respect/be wary of" but I suppose you prove your own point fairly nicely
-
I like how none of the categories say anything about being an actually skilled player that you need to respect/be wary of dis netplay hate fun video tho I was light blue for a long time until just recently so I dunno anymore
