  1. Yash, I would take baby steps in learning the loop. Like they're saying it's all about the grind. I'd say definitely practice just a basic combo loop with no dashes in the corner just so you get the feel for the combo. Then, after you are getting a good amount of loops down consistently, try to throw in a dash inbetween every consecutive one you do. After you start to improve your dashing in the corner then I'd work your way to midscreen and try for that. =0 I hope this helps. I found it actually helps a lot that I've put it in my muscle memory to hold down on 2 when I input 2c before rushing into j214B.
  2. AYE! GGs to Haven, Leonil, Eevee, and Gio. Lol... Good luck Zeron. Her only Waifu is Hazama. That's why I've already settled for Saki. =B
  3. Is anyone from jersey driving down to Georgia for Final Round? I totally need a ride. Q-Q
  4. Yo Biscuits. Teach me to troll as Ara sometime. I really can't grasp this character. =<
  5. My shoutouts are late but they are shoutouts nonetheless! Shoutouts to Dai for hosting this kick ass event. Shoutouts to Jourdal for being one of the chillest people I've ever met. Shoutouts to Gio and his annoying character. Shoutouts to SKD for trying to pick up stick. Shoutouts to Star-Demon for trooping his way down to the arcade then waiting for 3 hours. Good shit. haha Shoutouts to Omni for winning the shit. Good job man I wish I got to play you. Oh and shoutouts to Ben for bringing me that stick that had a built in table. Haha. I mean I didn't need it but that was real tight of you to bring that shit out for me. Thank you sah. Other than that I didn't really get to interact with too many people for too long cuz I had to dip early. =[ Though, next time I'll be there all day and I'd love to get in more matches with you guys. Our local is godlike.
  6. Hmm. Maybe I'm just adept at this match up as it is one of my favorites and most played. I can see where you're coming from, though. It's not so much guess blocking as it is reacting to his 6B and jumping in whilst he's in mid pressure. Not only can you jump over 6c if he tries to throw it out mid block string, you can hop over deathspike. Also, if he tries to go for Gauntlet, you're already in the air blocking, land and punish. His pressure isn't as strong as you build it up to be. I can't argue with the fact that his reward is way too strong and he will always have 50meter for a rapid or match ender. That there is his advantage. His normals I'd say are on par with Hazamas though, aside from J.C being ridiculous. Again, I believe that Hazamas chains give him a very strong advantage in this match up. I suppose that it is very possible that this shit is 5.5-4.5 after closer examination, Ragnas favor. Although, I highly doubt 6-4.
  7. Yeah, but again America lacks match up experience. Which is why I wanna pick up that character. xD To help the community I mean. :B
  8. Yeah, I'd think so. Hazama shuts down all of his approaches entirely. At the same time, Arakune can't zone because Hazama is Hazama. So, Arakune hopes to get a lucky hit in and go for that instant curse to win a round. Though, if the Hazama is playing solid that shit won't happen very likely.
  9. The secret to fighting Arakune... play Hazama! ;D
  10. Hmm... I'd say this match up isn't much to worry about. I haven't really played a good Relius, but I play Relius and I've played many alright Relius. In my personal opinion he's a bad character and very, very easy to beat. The match up is in Hazamas favor for sure. Relius does not have a very good way of getting in. Making it very easy to Zone him. Sure he has 214B and 214A to try to counteract your zoning, but I mean if you're getting hit with those clearly you're not using Hazamas chains right. Those things should only hit you if you remain stationary on the ground chuckin chains. You better be flying around that screen annoying him from all angles. Now, whats nice about this match up is that Relius is also VERY easy to get in on and has very few defensive options. He lacks a very good anti-air(Without Ignis) and has very few defensive options(without ignis) 236a, is a very, very bad move in all honesty. If he uses it to try to get out of blockstrings and you whiff a move like 5b or some shit. Wait for the last 4frames and just throw out a 2a, free combo. Don't be mashing on the buttons, time it. Otherwise you'll probably get grabbed. If you keep hitting the Relius chances are he'll try to super. However, his gears only hit you while you're on the floor. Just do a jump on his wake up to try to bait it and make sure you're at the peak of your jump when he's up. If he still does it then MAN do you get some free damage. If not, just fall down with a J.2c - continue pressure. Not like he has a good anti-air to begin with. Now, the match up does change quite a bit when Ignis is out; however, her health is depleted so quickly that she isn't a threat for too long. Even with ignis out he still has a hard time getting in on you, but he has many more defensive options. 236A + Ignis is really good, actually. Also, 4D is an amazing anti-air. Now, I'd advise that when Ignis is out you do NOT approach this guy. Not only are his defensive options good, he actually has pressure. His mixup is weak, but you'll want to wait until Ignis is gone before you try anything funny in his pressure. I'd advise watching her meter so that you might be able to predict when he puts her away, for an easy punish. When I finally meet a, like, hella good Relius I'll edit this and post anything new I find. For now I think this should be good enough to stop any current Relius, though. Match up is, I'd like to say, 6-4 Hazamas favor? Maybe this'll change, who knows? Edit: Fiddling with Relius more and more, I find his 2C is better than I had previously stated. Though, it is inconsistent. On whiff Relius takes damage. Though, it is an anti-air that causes fatal, so sometimes the risk is good for Relius. Again, I'd say it's not too much of a threat in the match up, but try not to get caught with it.
  11. Aye, ZeroRaider is right. The match up is very similar from CS2. The only differences that Ragnas reward is much larger and J.c is such a freaking threat if the Ragna is smart. If the Ragna is smart, both 5a and 2c become relatively useless to J.c; 214D~B still does the job. I mean, if they're bad and still doing deep jump ins on Hazama with J.c, by all means abuse 5a/2c. I'd advise mostly safe blockstrings against this mothaeffa. If you do happen to take risks, make them very scattered out. Take note at what point in block strings the Ragna dps, because chances are he'll do it again. Hazama punishes will put him in his place! Then perhaps you can go with some more unsafe blockstrings. Though, your ultimate tool in this match up is definitely your chains. Your movement and zoning are critical in winning this fight. If you can keep Ragna away from you, the win is yours for the taking. Often times when I get too aggressive against a Ragna, I notice I'm not winning as often as I should. Right now though, I don't see much difference in the match up. I'm not sure why Jps say it's 4.5 - 5.5 in Ragnas favor, I'd like to think that it's 5 - 5. As Hazama still has the advantage of Chains. Also, all of Hazamas normals are freaking godlike. Haha
  12. IF there are any Jersey meet ups count me in. I try my hardest to show up no matter the distance! lol Speaking of distance, you live in central Jersey Ril I am? Cuz, that'd be very convenient for me. I think Jersey/East Coast has a high potential for a great scene. =X Idk, I'm just saying BB would be mad tight with frequent meet ups so it'd be cool if this could happen.
  13. Does jersey have a real scene? Or is jersey's scene new york? =0
  14. Yeah, I sucked when I got put on the recording set up, too. SERIOUSLY, SO BAD THAT FIRST GAME! lol LK helped me calm those nerves afterwards though so I was able to climb back in and place. lol Thank you LK. =] That was fun. lol
  15. Curiously, will there be some kind of set up for me to put my stick on? Like, I don't play on my lap I play on a coffee table kind of thing, is that supplied at the tournament? Or will I have to bring some kind of portable stand or something? Thanks.
  16. I think I'll enter this, for BB. Where do I, like register, and stuff. :B
  17. Do you have any idea at what time the BB tournament will be? Thanks.
