GDI I hate my family. Well, not so much MY family in particular, just family members as a general concept. They're like friends who overstay decades past their welcome. The worst part is that it's January and not all of them are gone. Oh wait that's because I live here FML. One of them was nice enough to give me one of them XBL cards on the 25th of December, though, so I managed to snag EX Kyo. I tried his moveset out and realized that I will never know what I'm doing with this character. But enough personal bitching; time for mockery of others: Yes. Yes there is. It involves playing on an XBox looooooool I think I'm just going to pronounce your user name "Double Rainbow" now, regardless of whether you change it or not.

Yea, most of the BlazBlue hype right now is "what will be in the update", and TBH I'd rather not have had an update. Double-whammy for me, there. IMO "Continuum Shift EX" was a terrible idea to begin with. It distracts from the game they had up-and-going, and it heavily stalls (or possibly kills) the arrival of an actual new game. TBH I really have to doubt we'll ever see a BlazBlue 3, what with Arksys sinking themselves into this Super Continuum Shift Alpha Turbo nonsense.

There's a little doughnut shop nearby me that looks more like an abandoned convenience store. I go in there and get custard doughnuts when I feel like compromising my attempts to lose weight. ...I just want Whip, so I can bust a cap in some of these characters. But that's incredibly unlikely given that the entire Ikari Warriors subplot is just an excuse to not let us have Whip and Leona in the same game. SNK are such teases!

Very much so. Haven't touched the series in a while and the wiki-guide was exactly the right thing to see. Also, whoever's been editing the bottom tidbits of the character pages has an odd sense of humor. =D

One thing is that the game is really picky about going back to neutral during multi-part inputs. 63214,63214 + button, which happens to be used for a LOT of supers, will basically never come out unless you make a point of doing it more like 63214, 5, 63214 + button. Also, there's no 'Negative Edge' inputs, so you're likely to get a reverse-DP command to come out instead if you're even slightly too early on the attack button. This contrasts to BlazBlue where you're encouraged to pull every input-shortcut you can, especially during tight combos. 236, 236 + button is even kinda irritating because it also needs to be moar like 236, 5, 236 +button. About the only long input that you can roll smoothly and still pull off reliably is the 2363214 one, which gets used a LOT in both directions. I keep forgetting which direction to go in for those moves, since there doesn't seem to be any real pattern to which types of moves use which direction, and you're working with a lot of those moves scattered about the roster (and use 3-characters). I keep going like, 2363214 boom! and then getting face-planted, because oh yea, it's that OTHER move on another character that goes like that, this one was 2141236... On the plus side, it's easier to pull off combos with 236 and 623 motions mixed together, and you can Tiger Knee damn-near everything pretty easily. As for me, it's helping me learn to time inputs better, because trying to do a DP and getting a QCF special instead is less immediately embarrassing than trying to do a DP and just getting crouching HP. =P It's ever-so-slightly more time-lenient to make up for the neutral-stick thing, too, so I rarely find myself feeling rushed to finish a command. Exceptions would be long inputs that need to be performed on reaction. Athena uses the 62314, 62314 input for her only super, and it's a reversal super. QQ Did I mention it has an aerial version (in a game where air-time is remarkably short)? o_O People who like charge-input characters will LOVE this game, though.
