  1. ggs everyone i played. I remember now why I hated fighting against noel: that 2D. I can never seem to guard against it because they keep throwing it out. And when did grabbing someone out of a tech become fashionable?
  2. Tech DP is the hardest thing to do on netplay Q_Q
  3. :3 Run up DPs all day.
  4. GG everyone I played tonight. Sorry my internet's a piece of shit. I should start a fund to upgrade it XD
  5. anyone up for a few matches?
  6. Looking to play after playing very minimally for the past 2 weeks. :3
  7. On an off note, how the hell do you chain things like 2A > Coup Droit A or 5B > Coup Droit A when you have to literally hold the opposite direction for a second or 2 before it will register it as a charge.
  8. The matchup here is brains vs speed. Even though the distance game is ridiculous and entirely in her favor, the way you win is basically using that distance against her. Almost all her D moves will beat out every single one of your zoning tools except projectiles. That being said, try to stay close distance with her and never let her cross you up. If you are medium to medium-far, you will most certainly die to her crossups and drives. Avoid air dashes and trying to intercept her because that's just a big opening for her. I'd say to try and look for one moment to use a DP during her blockstrings and then take control and never let go. She doesn't have a DP so that's one less thing for you to worry about. Your C DP is your best (and almost only) anti-cross up so find a time when you know she's going to cross up and take it from there.
  9. GGs to CodyXxAKO and for being such a good sport when I played him with Hazama. I don't know if my 10-0 record against him bothered him but I'm not quite sure. His messages were kinda... wierd: http://tinypic.com/r/34fk7qx/6 http://tinypic.com/r/99iezd/6 BTW, I main JI :P
  10. Use your 2D pressure from farther than you normally would if you're going to punish her drives. Her 3C, dash 2A (which is universal), and just about all her drives allow her to dodge the attack, get in close, and punish you for 3.5K. Your 5D is a better option, even though it leaves you at negative frames and easy hit confirm. But use it at your typical 2D range (try and aim for the tip or the wolf's eye) because she can still 2a punish your dash cancel (7 start up vs -14 adv.) If you get the distance right, her 2A punishes will wiff and any drive retaliations like 5D are easily spotted, giving you enough time to continue pressure or DP.
  11. Haha, yeah. I always get hit on the backdash because I tend to use more 4 and 6 than jumps to maneuver so sometimes when I want to instant block, it comes out as a backdash. I tend to be wayyyyyy overagressive and that gets me into trouble a lot, especially on netplay.
  12. Well guys, I think I may have solved my problem. When you're dealing with airdashers, double jumpers who just hang in the air and you can't 623 fast enough, and people who run away, you have to do the same thing with Jin. Call it "bitch mode", like you're fighting Tager. Its worked on Rachel, Lambda, and just about anyone you can run away and zone with. Throw out random ice cars at times to keep them on their toes but the bottom line is don't try to fight them fairly. Fight them like you're running away for your life. Anyone else have any tips?
  13. I've been playing online for a while and I've felt that a lot of the netplay has been reduced to people instant air dashing over the opponent, running away and throwing projectiles, or just waiting for the opponent to do something then interrupt him with 5a. Is there any Jin gimmicks that can help with dealing with this, especially when you can't really guard on netplay?
  14. I'd love to get a few matches as well. I suck at guarding on netplay for whatever reason so I'd love to learn how to guard properly.
