A very important thing for Sin is blockstrings intended to maximize your foe's guard bar and guard-bar-specific hitconfirms. I have used my potato to record footage from a match showing this. I'm sure most of us already know this but it can never be stressed enough, all the same.

In this game projectiles are weak overall due to the Roll mechanic. A char centered around them so much is bound to have issues. Still, it doesn't mean you're bad when you're low tier, it can oftentimes mean that you're awesome and everyone else is just even MORE awesome. -

The crossplay was known from the Xseed announcement but it's nice that they repeat it so that everyone will know. It's great how it's becoming a default feature. -

If this game incorporates assists in some fashion, try to make them consume some sort of resource so that the game doesn't become too dumbed down by the option of always making your unsafe approach safe through the easy use of an assist at any point during the game. That's the main thing that I really hate about marvel 3. Even Tatsunoko was better in that area since the cooldown of the assist was quite significant that you had to save it for when you really needed it, not just toss it out in neutral and having it cool down fast enough that you can use it in the same combo you just got thanks to using it in neutral a few seconds ago.

I'm in CT, though I don't play any of those games but I play a bunch of other ones, specifically BBCPE, Xrd (and +R if you feel like), Arcana heart 3 love max, under night in birth exe late and Dengeki Bunkou fighting climax. I also can mash in melty blood, aquapazza and KoFXIII, but do not own them so someone else would have to provide them. -

But the only reason to go to namek is to get the dragonballs. What is this, namekception? (but yes Bullet with a run would be silly, just make her able to travel space better like how Hakumen can do it with his Kishuu) -
The issue is that the BB on steam is a 3+ year old game. It'd be like getting Super SF4 when Ultra is already out, in a way.

Ever since her 720 didn't need 100 meter and was doable off of heat, it became a viable thing. I just wouldn't call her a grappler due to the infrequency of the grabs. Bang is more so a grappler than she is and nobody calls him one, lol. (don't forget about his seal super, it's a teleporting, tracking air AND ground command grab, it has bullet's 720 beat in everything besides post-flash startup and in OD it does almost as much damage as hers too lol) -

Well I just disagree with you about that, but time will tell. You're forgetting Nine, too, who knows how she'll play like. I think it's just too early to say there won't be any so and so MUs for any character in CF. Bullet's nerf on red lockon will suck but that's just the one thing we know of right now, who knows what else changed. Like I said I feel insecure about determining how anything in CF will be at this point. -

Nu is definitely the worst MU, but chars like Azrael are also up there but for vastly different reasons. The initial complaint mentioned none of the Azrael-relevant reasons, this is what I was addressing. Full resource 6A in the corner leads to a LOT of damage even without full resources and lands often enough too. Just with heat it's 5K and you get lvl 2 heat back, full resource it becomes 6.8k without even going OD. Ragna meterless gets 1.5k less off of his same-speed overhead that does not gatling to a +1 normal. I think it's silly to say she does less damage than him when comparing max damage. On average, sure, she gets a bunch of 2K combos to build the heat, that is definitely true. My main issue is this; who said anything about CF being any better. For all we know it could be worse. Might as well get used to the bad MUs now. Worst case scenario you learned to deal with them and still know how to do so in CF, which would be a good thing in the case of there still being bad MUs that need to be dealt with. Best case scenario, you get to feel relief for not having to use a char with that many bad MUs any more when CF hits. It's a win win. If you don't and then come CF Bullet still has issues (as a char with her mobility most often will in a game like BB), you'll be out on your ass. -

I never said these aren't bad MUs, I said you still can do something about them. You still have options. They're bad MUs, they're not quit-the-game-level/avoid-fighting-them-entirely bad matchups. That was what I was saying. Mainly about 214D, you can get a mindgame going by holding it. Nu especially removes it but due to Lamdba's forced 2-sword Ds, it is actually much more workable than you may think. As SOWL said, people with huge wide normals are a pain. Also, chars that do what she does better while outspacing her DP and also have better mobility such as Azrael Ragna Jin and Valk are the real issue I think, though Nu is definitely a big problem too due to just how much damage she gets off of full screen confirms. -

214D guard points projectiles. Make use of it. 41236C is projectile invincible and can dodge things as big as Tempest Dahlia from half a screen away and you can combo off it meterless on counterhit, make use of it. 3C goes under most projectiles, make use of it. -
I have to question how big it really was since I remember this famous post someone made showing the amount of Ragna people registered on psn for CSE being higher than the total player number for xlive. Never mind that though, CPE is out on ps3 and ps4 and those systems offer cross play. Outside of xbox fanboys and really big Halo fans or something, why would you even get an X1 when you don't have neither a ps3 nor a ps4. Why would you even get the x1 version of BB when you can get the ps3 or ps4 version and play against the entire playerbase of both systems. Honestly, I bet most people aren't even on ps4 yet due to the stick situation and them wanting to keep using their ps3 sticks, it's mostly ps3 people who play this game, ps4 just benefits from the crossplay.

jD used to be a buff to combo rate, lacking it meant less damage than nonOD, now it is a flat damage modifier rather than a combo rate thing and the seal-less OD is same damage as nonOD. 6D makes you blink and leave leaves behind you as you dash, granting you projectile invuln. 5D does what it did plus what 6D did (gives you more airdashes/the ability to crossup with them) 2D makes all Ds block all directions, not sure if the added anything else to it

My first thought is "does dustloop even have a front page...oh yeah it's that thing I miss-click to by accident sometimes and rapidly click away from". I think not enough people use the front page so making it better in a marginal way will mostly go unnoticed. Most people just use a few forum topics because they have the latest news about things that interest them. I think it's hard to change this since a front page can only hold so much information which will not be that interesting compared to information found inside the specialized topics to enough people to enable it to stand out in their wake. I don't think user-created-volunteer-content is what can help here. We already have this in the forum topics with people typing up helpful posts and translating things left and right. Just putting some of it on the front page too won't help since the topics will still be the place to go. You need exclusive content not found elsewhere in the forums or on the internet for the front page to shine. An example of this would be an interview Stayfree had done in the past with the people of arcsys from a convention or whatever it was. It's supposed to be something more than what a single, devoted, passionate fan can type up in their pc from their house, without doing anything else. It has to have legwork, research, etc. It has to basically be a journalism piece in a way if it is to grab the attention that is sought after. Anything short of that will always lose to the much more vastly detailed forum topics, I fear. To get to this level, though, you can't have independent members of the community acting of their own accord. You need a top-to-bottom organizational approach and there must be some sort of order established. We're at a point where we need to be asked to do something, not asked to come up with what to do, since each singular person has little power to enforce their ideal plan of attack. Those with the power ought to be thinking of this, solving it, then relaying it to us. This is why they have this power in the first place. If they truly desire to change things, it is their responsibility to either guide us to a more focused point or let someone who has that capability in them take their place. -

I maintain that all SK chars could just as well have been in a fighter so I think Homura will fit very well here. I expect a rushdown and speed monster. Ruili looks like a lot of fun to me, she has good mixup and damage and her super mode makes her more meter-effecient it seems. I see them using the cowboy girl that throws a bottle and shoots alot. It has shortish cooldown so she can use it multiple times just to hitconfirm stuff off of that mixup kick rekka thing she has. As for Saya who is gonna be my main alongside Homura, her main issue is that she doesn't really have mixup outside of drill stuff and lowish average damage for no meter, she seems to die bad to the barrier of this game. Still her long range pokes seem really cool. Also her AA seems strong too. -

Ignis has combo break traps and a full screen lvl 3, she seems really dumb indeed. Also I was looking at Al for another good char, she did a ton of damage off of everything, had a dp that she could combo with etc. -
