  1. You can pick up from it with 2A depending on spacing actually. Doesn't need to be fatal or RCd.
  2. No, I mean, after frkz, frkz is the main killer of Bang players cause they blow themselves up with it a lot. XD
  3. It's still gonna be the 1# cause of Bang deaths after FRKZ due to newer players spamming it like we did back in CT and stuff but it always was a good move and with the meter to RC it it's a "why not" kind of deal, it's worth the risk and in the case you're good enough to use it right the payoff is sweet.
  4. Moves such as Plat's or Tager's J2C are gonna be basically left unused against Bang due to this. If it can stuff Ara's jB it can stuff those too.
  5. I mainly antiair with 2D in the rare occasion that it is relevant...or ashura. Oh and I think Valk's 2C is even more damaging as a starter.
  6. One that fatals into 4.7k meterless. Albeit unsafe as fuck but...4.7k meterless! :D
  7. I saw it beat ara jB for a fatal. It's actually sorta viable against moves that stay active in the air until they land.
  8. Yeah, for sure! I actually picked up Slayer and with GG finally having online I have put in some time. We should play some. :D
  9. Flying, already got the return tickets booked and stuff. It's actually cheaper to get them ahead of time.
  10. I think JD has less recovery on whiff which allows for the 5A to combo or 2D counter has a longer/higher stun property. Either way, he seemed to just instinctively mash 5A to pick up just for the hell of it and he did get it. That's clutch. :D
  11. And I was there in spirit! (hiding in the shadows, looking for Litchi Donoooooo)
  12. http://youtu.be/ZShKSBjNrEY?t=16m58s This has to be the most clutch confirm I've ever seen.
  13. I shall make you eat more than you can, then mock you for not eating it fast enough and complaining about it. It'll be marvelous indeed. :D This reminds me, you never had a chance to try out my cooking...we shall need to alleviate that.
  14. There's lots of truth to that. I shall travel across the country for AB in May and I hope to get to have casuals with everyone again at least once. Gonna be staying for like 2 weeks thanks to Fraga's kind hospitality. :D
  15. Lol, star's inbox is full, I guess 20 people sent him help messages right now. XD
  16. Watching you play Bang is like a step in the past. You're basically doing stuff that was what he could do in CT and Bang was really limited in CT. You need to expand your options a whole lot. Any D counter hit you get, you can confirm. 6D counter can be picked up with 2B or 5C and depending on screen placement you can do a hell of a lot of damage. 5C>6D combos only on airborn foes, not on standing/crouching ones unless you have a 5C fatal starter, don't autopilot into it since it lets people mash through your combos. Do 5C>2c instead. Also, get used to confirming normal hit 6Ds with 623B when near the corner. That's a 4K combo starter there which you miss out on. Lastly, you don't use A and B nails to space stuff out at all. They're great tools to control space with and make you glide which allows you to land faster from jump and stuff. D nails rule but you should use other nails too. Finally, for tager, if you yomi a grab just JD. You'll get a counter and a decent combo off of it too. Oh and Valk is my main sub, I think I used him a bit last time we played. People got astralled a lot. XD
  17. Their only way to market 360 to Japan after it's original failure to capture the market was with a few exclusive high-level-otaku stuff. Most stuff us in the west would think of as "JP stuff" still would come out for the ps3 or sometimes dual-plat but in Japan, there's...tiers of "JP stuff". To them some stuff is just normal games (like Dragon quest) and some is otaku stuff. (like project diva Hatsune Miku games and Idolmaster)
  18. That's part of the issue, it's shown to be the otaku console. There's a few things that are on it but I can't remember many not also on PCs or PS3. It tried to do that originally but while the otaku stuff may support developers like NIS and Atlus, they won't make the console a success by themselves. These developers milk their fans with all kinds of extra goodies at exorbitant prices. A console can't make use of these methods. I doubt there's any miku miku or pantsu-design 360s out even....while these games come out with mouse pads that have breasts and god knows what else. Hell, even Gal Gun got a ps3 version eventually. I think it's basically a tiny niche that plays it. The hardcore otaku who need to have every softcore eroge, every idolmaster game and every VN in existence and the people who are in the minority of Japan and like to play FPSs and stuff...who are basically our counterparts if you look at us and compare us to mainstream American game tastes. XD
  19. The quote, as I remember it, was a wishy-washy "I can't speak about there being a 360 version of the game right now" type of thing, to me it sounded like he was avoiding the question basically. Now, as for that being them shooting their own foot or not, who knows. Porting games costs money and if their financial guys told them that they won't be making enough of a profit to justify the port it'd be a smart business decision. Remember, they mainly look at Japan with these games (to showcase this, look at BB's history in Europe) and in Japan the 360 is beyond dreamcast levels of dead. And I don't mean dreamcast back in 2001, I mean 2013. I'm sure more people play dreamcast than 360 in Japan even to this day, it's that dead XD. (and dreamcast got a Berserk game...that's reason enough to have one imo)
  20. There has been a console version confirmation (obviously) but no release date for that version has been confirmed yet. In the famitsu scans where they list the consoles of the games announced there was just PS3 listed while in the past announcements of previous BB games 360 had also been included. This is all the info in existence about this. Now, people can speculate about there being a potential 360 release that is west-only (who even does this? only FFXIII did it as far as I know and BB is not final fantasy) or there being some problem with the 360 version that Mori hinted at without much detail, which can be interpreted as a Japanese way of saying they don't want to do it cause it doesn't seem worth it due to lackluster sales or may be genuine, depending on how you look at it...but in the end that's all speculation, only the above things are what we know for sure so far.
  21. Right, the left hand is my thumb, the right hand uses my index and middle finger. I use an original 2007 sixaxis cause I like the Dpad on it but yeah, I could work with a 6-button custom pad too if I needed to. I've used the thing so much that the Dpad has literally no resistance to it, is as soft as butter, this makes inputs really easy to do as long as you're precise and don't input stuff wrong. There's breaking your pad and then there's wearing it in. A properly worn in pad is a great tool...and it doesn't hurt your thumb as you use it either.
  22. On the matter of pads, I wonder, how many other people piano their face button inputs on pad? Everywhere I go people look at me like I'm nuts or something when I explain it and then they lose to it and somehow end up respecting it in a confused stupor XD. It's just a habit I had from growing up playing tekken with my dad during the ps1 era. It's how he played and tekken is kinda like, you need lots of dual-button presses in that so I just always played fighters like that...and it actually works well. The benefit of it is your fingers are always above the needed face buttons, you don't have waste time relocating your thumb for stuff like throw teching. With a little practice I even got used to moving my hand up to press R1 (which is my dust on GG) and it works just fine as long as you have the muscle memory for it.
  23. I got a callous on my left thumb to protect me from injuries and soreness after a long session. Had the same sixaxis for like 5 years, still works fine. My dual shock 3 though, the D-pad split in the middle. It was before BB was even out, I think I was playing SF4 or something. Basically, the down and left arrows were not connected to the up and right arrows any more. It had somehow broken inside of the controller. It was hilarious.
  24. I find bumpers make fighting Carl a whole lot easier. Getting out of the sandwich is really a good thing and so is stopping him from using Ada as a shield to make his entry safe.
  25. GGs man. I have lots of Tsubaki matchup experience and Bang is Bang so it's kinda tough to break out of the malestorm of stuff thrown at you. Keep at it. :D GGs to you too man. That was indeed an odd counter, I think I might have delayed the gatling or something, I don't really know how that 5B hit you like that either, I was like "uhh...alright". XD
