Trying to learn Bang atm. not really expecting to win, but one jump-in cause lack of good anti airs = Dead. My best anti air seems to be gtfo of the way.

Idk, Hakumen gets free meter from just sitting there AND a free star for just hitting a counter. You aren't gonna sit there the whole match and wait for him to go in. Try to stop him from getting meter then you might end up getting countered. He gets a combo which can get his opponent into the corner, get more meter, and of course more damage. Counter with 5D if you're in the corner and the match suddenly changed to the Haku being in control where as Ragna would need 50 heat to RC and put someone in the corner. The main thing ID has over counters is there is no guessing between highs and lows. You just do it. Haku does have to react accordingly, but it's easier to say they're both dangerous. Just for different reasons.

Unless I'm missing/misunderstanding something here, no invincibility before a super flash means that a meaty can beat it cause of start up right? If you hit them then that would just mean a mistimed meaty happened or they went for an overhead.

Damn it and fuck yes all at the same time....I wanted to play someone with Bang, but I was messing around with GGAC+ on my emulator and somehow got it to 60 FPS. Chipp takes priority over Bang.

Oh I was air throwing and did some frame traps, but it was pretty hard to get a ground throw even after all that. I can't jump through the TV and say "STAY ON THE GROUND OR ELSE!" and apparently using air throws didnt get the message across. Using meaties probably would have been really smart looking back, but I have never practiced the timing, so I was pretty much left to only air throws and frame traps. Guess that gives me a reason to sit in training mode with Ragna again.

GGs cookiehour. If I knew Upback was that good, I would have been doing that. But I thought only Hazama could Upback everything and it works every time. Someone lied to me.....I blame Zeron for this.
