If that scrub room doesn't start up too late, I'd certainly join in. I can usually play at any time before 7 or so, but it depends on when my brother gets home. The PS3's his, as I've noted before, and he doesn't like me being in his room. It'd work best on weekends, of course.

I remember reading that. AND THEN WE CAME FULL CIRCLE. (+ B. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA kill me.)

Fuck the state lines, it's all fair game in here. Also, if anyone wants to play BB, hit me up in a message on PSN. I've been doing a bit of training and can pull off some decent Relius combos. I'll be gone until about 6 tomorrow, though, so I won't be able to get to any fight requests until then. I can't join in on those groups you guys have apparently every night, so this is the best I'm getting.

I'm online on PSN if anyone wants to kick my ass. Probably won't be on much longer.

I might hop on PSN in a little while if someone wants to kick my ass. I'll probably be on all day.

[CSE] Relius Clover - General Discussion "American Frame Traps"
Azure Dragonius replied to Kurushii's topic in Archive
Relius is my best character in Extend, but I'm still learning. I have a long way to go. My best combos are variations of 5B > the first hit of 5C > 6C > 236C > 214A, then, while they're on the ground, I pull off a 214B to start off another combo once they get up, usually an aerial. I used to use 214C a LOT, but that's kind of a high risk move since it sends Ignis out there in front of Relius and she can easily get hit and lose a ton of meter. I only use it when I know it'll work, or to pressure my opponent when they're in the corner. Otherwise, I use 214B, 214A, and other stuff like that. I need to learn to use Ignis more, though, because I don't use her that often aside from Vol Tedo, 214B, and 214A after 236C. Also, how good is 632146C? It's pretty weak, but seems to be a good combo-starter, or a combo extender if you can land it during a combo. -
I thought that was the funniest fuckin' part of that ending. Not even joking. I also noticed the Torakaka VA change, but not until yesterday, and my router was down yesterday so I couldn't bring it up here. The random changes to Japanese, the random Spanish text, the script saying the wrong thing, etc. etc. still pisses me off, though. Especially that one line from Bang in Reconstruction, something along the lines of "*talking to subordinates about Jin* This is my moment, and you guys can't win against one who spams 'Ice Car' so thoroughly..." That would have been great to hear, but Bang didn't fucking say that himself, it was just in the script on-screen. I would have loved to hear that in the game, but they let me down, just like all of Reconstruction did.

I'm a couple of hours from Jacksonville, but until I have a reliable method of getting there when I actually want to be there, BB's a no-go. :V I unfortunately will not be going to Final Round or Red Spark. I need more money and a driver's license would sure as hell help so I don't have to ask someone else to drive me and them say no.

There's not really any Engrish in Extend aside from the usual Engrish from the announcers.

I just heard Bang's new VA. He's not as good as Tony Oliver, of course, but he's acceptable. Laura Bailey's Rachel is utter shit, Vee isn't Noel which automatically makes me hate it, I haven't heard the new Mu, I'm growing to like Hazama, and I think Bang's subordinates have new VAs, too, but I'm not sure about that. EDIT: Forgot Hakumen. He's all right. Might have forgotten a couple others, but I'm not gonna edit this post again.

I'd join in if it wasn't so late. The PS3's my brother's and he'll definitely be home by then, probably in bed, even. I'll probably join in at a later one.

I don't have a car of my own and I won't for a couple more years, so it's strictly online matches for me until further notice. I'm ass at BB, to be honest, but I've been training. Add my PSN if you want to play me in CSEX or my XBL if you want to play me in CS.

Really damn old Orion TV from the '90s. Not sure of the exact model. Obviously doesn't run HD, which doesn't matter to me. It's showing its age, though, I keep getting scan lines and various other things that impact the picture. The top 10% of the screen is cut off, too. No lag that I notice, though. I'll have to buy another one soon, regardless.

If this gets a console release, which I hope it does, then I want. I always wanted a Guilty Gear on my 360 that wasn't Overture. And if this does in fact get a console release, then I can learn it a lot easier on the 360 than I can on the PSP. But yeah, looking forward to it, and I'm hoping for some rebalancing too.

I noticed that when I finished Arcade. It's kind of difficult not to notice the VA change in the extra Hazama/Mu scene. I honestly don't like it, especially since Laura Bailey is now GODDAMN EVERYWHERE and Hazama doesn't sound as awesome in the extra scene because of the new VA, but I can deal with it. Regardless, I haven't noticed any other VA changes, as I've only played EXTEND for about two hours. EDIT: The Relius/Hazama pre-fight dialogue in Arcade has the new VA for Hazama, obviously, and Hazama has some character-specific voice clips when fighting Relius, and I think they don't sound half-bad, to be honest. I might grow to like this new Hazama.

How long did it take -you- to get proficient with your main?
Azure Dragonius replied to DemiiPoet's topic in Archive
I'm not that good with any character in either BB or GG, but regardless, it took me a while to actually start doing well with my mains. I started playing BB a year ago with Continuum Shift, and to this day, I'm still not that good with anyone; not even the characters I consider my mains. It's mostly my playing style, though. I like rushdown characters, but I don't play rushdown characters that much, so that playing style kind of drifts over to other characters when I play them, even if that character's style penalizes you for going the rushdown route with them. I'm not too good with combos, either. Example being, the best combos I can pull off with Hazama in BB is Falling Fang > 5C > Jump > j5CCCCCCCC > Land > 5C > j5CCCCCCCCC > Wind Serpent's Fang. Gets off an 18-beat combo if I'm lucky. 15 if I'm not. I still train, I have a lot to learn. I should train more often, as a matter of fact. As for GG, well, I'm bad at that. Mostly because the only GG game I own is Accent Core Plus for the PSP, and the PSP is not made for goddamn fighting games.
