  1. yes but i'm saying you probably got the OLD one from FlashGet.com. well n/m just get the new one, and if anything goes wrong again, you know where to post
  2. Would it be possible to have frame data and general information hosted on the DustLoop domain the way GGXX info was hosted on the GameCombos domain? Even if you just re-upload the old stuff that's found here, it would be very handy to have around, especially once RC.com goes offline in the fall =[
  3. yikes you should uninstall FlashGet and then get the newest one ASAP =S
  4. Re-post of Slep's post: I'm posting this here because you can represent yourself and thus post in your own region's thread. Essentially, I'm trying to reserve the stickied Slash Video posting thread for Japanese videos or other videos that are of unknown origin. Just fyi BTW just watched this -- what a great tutorial: Clear presentation of useful combos and mix-ups, and their alternatives; nice music and editing; and it's in English! Good work, Slep
  5. kk weight stuff probably hasn't changed from #R to /, so that's why i linked that one. backdash data -- you got me there, too. i couldn't find anything on kosugi's page, but maybe it's somewhere else kinda hidden on the site. btw, when you asked about invincibility data, i thought you were referring to the invincibility of particular moves, not of backdashes, so sry about that.
  6. weight data http://www.romancancel.com/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.117.2 RC has 6 of the characters, but i've already posted a link character-specific frame data in the appropriate thread.
  7. you may have downloaded FlashGet from a "bad" site (as in, they may have fudged with the download package and secretly included some spyware), or you may have a version that predates the newest one (ver. 1.72) -- these were known to have some adware that stayed active until you registered. if you go to their official site and download from them now, you *should* be okay. (i haven't noticed any problems so far, but perhaps i'll look into it again.) Their website is http://www.flashget.com/ BTW have you been able to identify the ad-/spyware that causes your computer to crash, or does it crash before you can do anything? if you can get the names of the ad-/spyware and PM me them, i'd appreciate it.
  8. okay sure thing guys P.S.: I Googled "YouTube downloader" the other day when I wanted to download NorCal matches uploaded by Alt, and I think there are a few other sites out there that run similar scripts for finding the YouTube video's "download URL". This "Qooqle" one just happened to be the first I clicked on.
  9. go here: video.qooqle.jp/dl In the text field, paste this URL: Hit Enter or click on the "Get Download URL" link. When the script finishes running, it should reload the page and spit out the URL from which you can download Sunrise.
  10. i'm just smart and stuff
  11. they mislabelled the file on the webpage's source code as "yama-kaname". it's available from the website if you enter in "Enc_elephant-syatite" instead of "Enc_yama-kaname" -- that's how i got it.
  12. it's in my folder: http://hepweb.phys.uvic.ca/~shoro/videos/ Look for "Enc_elephant-syatite". Make sure you don't save the file as a text file (my browser seems to default to that option for some reason) by adding the .WMV extension at the end of the filename.
  13. Peter was talking about the PR vids =o Yes I have the BGM for MM1-8, I'll upload it some time.
  14. When I get home from work I'll help with uploading them elsewhere, Peter. Here are some matches from this past weekend in Vancouver: http://hepweb.phys.uvic.ca/~shoro/videos/BC%20Day%202006%20weekend.rar IIRC the match line-up is: BagLunch (FA) vs rtl42 (SL) x5 JOfan (JO) vs rtl42 (SL) x6 sweetvids (BR) vs rtl42 (BA) x2 Music score: FAvsSL1 = "Kickstand", by Soundgarden FAvsSL2 = "Go With The Flow", by Queens of the Stone Age FAvsSL3 = "Bridge Fight", from the PainKiller soundtrack FAvsSL4 = "Tension Head", by Queens of the Stone Age FAvsSL5 = "Arc Angel", from BROKEN THUNDER -project Thunder Force VI- JOvsSL1 = "The Great Empress", from the #R Korean soundtrack JOvsSL2 = "Blue Water, Blue Sky", from the GGX Heavy Rock soundtrack JOvsSL3 = "Charge Man", from the Rockman 5 soundtrack JOvsSL4 = "Wave Man", from the Rockman 5 soundtrack JOvsSL5 = "Liquor Bar & Drunkard", from the GGX Heavy Rock soundtrack JOvsSL6 = "Keep Yourself Alive 2", from the GGX Heavy Rock soundtrack BRvsBA1 = "Oriental Castle Fight", from the PainKiller soundtrack BRvsBA2 = "Guilty Gear Medley", by S.S.H. Comments and criticisms are always welcome ::
  15. no it's thinner than it looks -- I remember Teyah taking some screenshots of Millia vs Dizzy in training mode showing how thin her hitbox actually is. (IIRC some things like 6K or 2S would noticeably "hit" Dizzy's sprite but not her hitbox.)
  16. in your update in this thread, please post which exact files you have recently uploaded! furthermore, please include information on whom the players play as. (i.e. character info plz.)
  17. well Baiken's general gameplan with almost everyone is to stay close, and if anything, Venom should be punishing you for using Mawarikomi against Dark Angel. if Venom has any balls set up, i'd be wary of using the chain, since he can either whack a ball at you, or teleport around you (depending on where the balls are set up) and take advantage of your recovery time. and even if he doesn't have any ball seiseis out, if the situation is kinda neutral, I should think he'd be sitting on a Stinger Aim charge-up, waiting for an opening to a free counterhit (and i guess enough time to summon a ball). but idk, i was reading back on the old RC forums how chain was actually pretty good against Venom, so perhaps i'm missing something. (Is it hard to react to Kabari's start-up because of key frames or something?) my question is: can he effectively AA you if you try getting in via iad.j.S? I seem to recall reading that 6P had some of its properties changed, and I'm wondering if that includes its hitbox. Will a well-timed j.S beat out a reactionary 6P attempt? That may be one way in >__>
  18. unless i've got it backwards, yes, a move's TG (Tension Gain) does not vary depending on the beat counter's number or damage or anything like that -- it is a fixed percentage of the overall tension bar (or at least, that's how the frame data reads). just look at Anji's frame data: 5K Tension Gain = 1.4 5Sc '' '' = 3.8 5Sf '' '' = 2.6 5HS '' '' = 3.8 Add it up, per combo, and that's your overall tension gain. (again, as far as i can tell.)
  19. bump i wanna see some Srayer, prease.
  20. AFAIK tension gain is independent of the number of hits.
  21. word to your mother
  22. <3 i won't let you delete this post Chado >=D
  23. No I'd post the translations of the kanji during Anji's animations again in this forum just so everyone can see them. Maybe I'll go through his sprite set sometime and just try to figure stuff out again, then post up what I figure out in a new thread.
  24. sorry... which video are you talking about when you say "this video doesn't seem to work..."? Your problem may also depend on what you're using to watch videos with.
