Okay I have a question for people regarding this video: http://media.putfile.com/oname It was originally hosted at Sugar's #R webpage, and it's basically I-No smacking Slayer to a background voice track of some guy getting hit by a woman screaming, "ONAME!" I was just wondering if anyone knew the source of this (anime/drama CD/radio show/etc.), or could at least decipher some of what the guy is saying.

I just wanted to add a small point to having unparsed URLs as default: I think it would be a bit more friendly for all those Japanese sites if you could do it throughout the forum, because direct-links to videos (or internal pages even) aren't only posted in the Video board.

So on the one hand, it sounds like you are saying it doesn't matter how often a moderator shows up, as long as they make informative posts and keep things in line. On the other hand, it sounds like you want someone to show up and be a "regular", not "somebody who logs in every 90 days". Re-read what you said in your 2nd paragraph: you (seemingly) contradict yourself in your 3rd "sentence" and your last two "sentences".

When I play on pad, just because of the way I've configured my button layout, I (F)RC with P+K+HS . On stick, I usually default to P+K+S, but sometimes, depending on whether I want to follow up my (F)RC with a particular move (like double CSE with Ky), I'll use HS instead of S to FRC.

look at the frame data. which move are you interested in?

people that don't use their pinky confuse me, but maybe that's just the standard. i use it cuz i play musical instruments, so it's natural for my pinky to be pushing keys--err buttons and stuff. i think most people multi-task ring finger with HS and D, although I think people that play some characters (Eddie?) have to use all fingers, or do something beside the norm. shrugshrug

Well, I've looked through all my Johnny combo vids, and I can't find one that fits the description. There was one that sounded kinda funk/soul-ish ("new article") but it's in Japanese, so I dunno what to say w(o_o)w

Tragic: would it be possible to have "Automatically parse URLs in text" *de-selected* by default? I think a lot of people unintentionally parse URLs in their posts because they either use the Quick Reply feature (which doesn't allow de-selecting automatic URL parsing) or they don't notice that they can de-select the URL parsing feature. This would save me some hassle and be appreciated (unknowingly) by all the Japanese sites that we link to on this board.

Jais: if you see this within the next few hours, just go to the Video Links sticky in this board and browse through the websites listed under Johnny in the first post to see if you can at least recall where you found the movie.

The Last Carnival

it's kinda tempting, but i'm a pad warrior that's slowly learning stick, so I dunno how well I would actually play at T7 (since it's at Orbitz, or IOW on arcade sticks). maybe that's not really a big deal, though, i dunno. it's also cheaper to fly to Vegas for Evo, although perhaps booking a room in Vegas + other fees will be more expensive than the overall trip to T7, who knows. more importantly, i'm not too sure i can take those days off from work for T7. Evo would be easier to go to since it's Aug. 18-20, which is after I'm done my work term. (... which is not to say that I've made up my mind about going to Evo )
