How is it out of character? The entire basis of their relationship is how much Tsubaki looks up to Jin, which is exactly the type of intimacy I was referring to that's lost in localization.

Nu's fate isn't THAT bad; sure, she lost her only reason for existing, but that means she can just find a new purpose for her life. It basically ties into the theme of "infinite possibilities" for the series. It also means she's free of her insane obsession of him, which was extremely unhealthy.

To be fair, there's a lot of references in the Japanese voice tracks as well, though I don't think they're as awkwardly placed as the localization. Localization is a grey area for some people because you have ones that would prefer a literal 1:1 translation from the original script, but that's simply impossible simply because of how the Japanese languages works compared to English where some thing are simply awkward to translate (How many times have literal translations of common Japanese phrases sounded awkward to an English speaking tongue?) But then you have other end of the spectrum when the original meaning is changed and nearly lost entirely when localized so it "makes sense" to English speakers. Jin and Tsubaki is one of the prime examples since I think there's some intimacy in their relationship that's almost completely lost in the Localization. So really, I'd say it depends on where you stand on the whole thing; personally, I think BB does an admirable job of trying, but some of the changes are simply not fitting for what the original was going for and most people don't understand or know this simply because they don't understand how the Japanese language functions. Having been learning Japanese for about a year now, it's made me really critical on localization in general and how developers go about it.

Well both Ragna and Jin recognize Noel's resemblance to Saya almost immediately, but notice that she's a different person entirely despite her uncanny resemblance; Izanami never denies being Saya and once again, her brothers recognize her almost immediately. Sooooooo, you got me. I think since they're both parts of Saya, they have parts of her whole; Noel has her memories which explains her having flashbacks to the times in the Church, while Izanami has her consciousness, which would explain why she mockingly calls Ragna "brother" and why she's completely dismissive of Jin.

Izanami's defeat is actually pretty ironic; talks about the inevitably of death and how nobody can escape it...and that includes herself seeing how she goes out begging for her own life before her consciousness is absorbed by Noel. It also sad considering she had to watch her brother do her in.

Its not really clarified, but the The Origin became obsessed with someone coming to save her from the eternal hell and torment she had to endure; I guess since she shares the consciousness with all of the Prime Field Devices to an extent, once No. 5 was manufactured, whom was likely based on Saya Terumi who was "devoured" by her brother (Naoto), The origin also felt this existence was her "brother" as well, and since Naoto and Ragna have such similar existences, The Origin just came to see Ragna as her brother as well. Ragna knows that he is the dream observed by god, but I think he understands that The Origin isn't actually related to Saya (his sister and whom Noel becomes at the end) outside of using her as a vessel, but he placated her because the nightmare would never end if he never took her dream too.

I for one love nearly all of the console themes; MUST DIE is hilarious edgy which makes it the perfect theme for another version of Terumi. Additionally, the rip of the songs I've found seem to indicate that HAKAISHIN is supposed to be Susanoo's Unlimited/Boss theme.

Why is HAKAISHIN such an amazing theme. Its the embodiment of a "FINAL BOSS" and its between the two most-hate fueled characters in the series. It doesn't even feel like it overstays its welcome despite being seven minutes long.

Terumi is literally exactly the same way haha, he outright says that fucking up what Amaterasu creates is what gives his existence meaning. Its more or less the same as the actual legend its based on. If you want an actual "reason", its mostly because of jealousy and pettiness.

As soon as I said this, it ends up being confirmed haha.

He's a god, its literally in his very nature to destroy. No complex backstory needed.

So there are lot of things that imply that Terumi's actual identity is Susanoo itself. Notice how in his intro with Hazama, he calls it his "real" body, Yuuki Terumi isn't even his actual name according to Mori, and Terumi almost does a complete 180 in personality as soon as he enters the unit, and the intense grudge against Ameterasu.

MUST DIE is basically Terumi re-embracing his nature as a God of Destruction while in the Susanoo unit now that he's back at full strength.

He did kinda have an "oh shit" moment when Ragna unleashed Black Onslaught on him, but yea...Terumi went basically spitting in Ragna's face.

It sounds a lot simpler to just do the normal dash cancel after 5D, rather than doing Shift Sway dash cancel, but that's just me. I mean look at it input wise; Ddc > En623C = 5D > 66 > 623C Shift Swaydc > En623C = 214A > 66 > 623C But yea, his combos aren't exactly the most forgiving if you're not used to fast inputs, so just grind it and like cap said, don't get overwhelmed by what your hands are doing and stay calm.

I have to wonder how some of these people are going to react if they do release a dub as a later DLC and charge money for it.

As someone more interested in the game, I do applaud Aksys for providing us with a faster release. And yes, the lack of a dub upsets me as well because I too have grown attached to the dub cast. However, that alone does not excuse everyone's kneejerk reactions to a decision they literally have no idea about. Nobody knows what went on behind the scenes and what led to this decision and its extremely unfair to accuse Aksys or Arcsys of something with literally no evidence to support your claims beyond your own hypothetical theories and disappointment. Both companies have brought every game to the United States for seven years when the series is nowhere near as profitable here as it is in Japan and could have easily dropped the series after Calamity Trigger. Its extremely disingenuous to turn on them now simply because they made a few decisions that you didn't like. Its a business and businesses do what they have to do even if its not particularly popular with the consumers.
