That would be a real shame after 7 years of a consistent dub. -

Can I just say I appreciate Mori showing that Tsubaki isn't as crazy as most of the fanbase thought and that she actually does care about her friends :V -
So yea, I figured since everyone else was making one, I figured I'd make one for Hakumen as well https://discord.gg/0wziknKTd04lv5MD

Central Fiction Arcade Plot Discussion (spoilers)
BlackYakuzu94 replied to Chaoschao222's topic in Zepp Museum
This series, at the end of the day, is still a fighting game. As such, more thought and time will likely go into the gameplay and developing that before any additional story details are given. As such, the plot will probably suffer a lot of inconsistencies and contradictions justified by any changes to gameplay, which is why we have two Jins, Terumi's, and Noel's running around. I commend Mori for his efforts, but there's a reason most fighting game players just straight up ignore any sort of plot and story and just play the game itself. Blazblue's plot is a prime example on why that's the case. -

Ragna dumping a food bill on Kagura is funnier than it should lol. Well, Jin & Hakumen clearly have different values and ways of doing things, even if their motivation is basically SEIGI. -

[CF] Naoto Kurogane Information/Discussion Thread
BlackYakuzu94 replied to Tong's topic in Naoto Kurogane
I really don't think Naoto is anywhere near strong enough to be considered "OP", not when every other newcomer has something even more busted than him. -
Does most of this apply to CPEX and CF?

The first one would get you Phantom Pain still, as long as you get the dash cancel off of Shift Swa. -

So how likely is it that we can actually get frame data from this port? -
There's so much dumb in this thread, its pretty laughable. You want people to take anime seriously? Just take your fucking PS3/PS4/PC/whatever to your local meetup, put that shit on and play it until somebody shows interest. I'm tired of this defeatist "Oh nobody likes our game" attitude, people like that only contribute to the problem. And as for "GG is too waifu bait", well whether people like it or not, that's what is popular nowadays and if it draws people to the game, who the fuck cares if they think Elphet/May/Makoto/Noel is cute, the fact is you got someone to play the game. So please stop this close-minded and elitist mindset and just go out and advertise your fucking game. I took Blazblue down to my campus last week and had like four people wanting to play; the tv's were ass with 2 seconds of lag, but hey, I got people somewhat interested at least.

So, I figured out that you can use Kishuu to duck under some moves; its a bit finnicky tho since the invul is so late into the move.

Is it the Power of Order or Makoto's exceptionally strong soul? -
Jin has been going on about killing Saya all throughout CF and Izanami almost killed him using Tsubaki. Like wat, don't care?

I mean, Vs. themes signify that the characters involved in the match have a significant relationship to each other, so really...its kinda of hard for them to lose their impact unless the characters themselves don't have much in the way of a relationship. Going down the list of Vs. themes and the character relationships in them, they all seem pretty justified to an extent. Under Heaven Destruction: Ragna & Jin, literally two of the main characters and the primary rivalry in the series. This goes without saying. Imperial Code: Jin vs. Noel, slightly less justified after CT, but Jin still hates her regardless so maybe? White Requiem: Ragna & Rachel have the whole "servant and master" thing going on Weak Executioner: Litchi tryin to save her blob husbando. Nightmare Fiction: No way Ragna and his arch enemy don't deserve a special theme, although its slightly odd since Terumi is his own character now...and yet the two still don't have this theme. Memory of Tears: Tsubaki had the whole jealousy against Noel going on, plus they're Bff's. Childish Killer: Jin & Tsubaki got that whole Anime childhood friendship/romance going on. X-Matic: Father and Son, and the father is a massive asshat towards his son in this case. Black & White: Same deal as Ragna & Jin, really came late though as it was more appropriate back in CT. Better late than never though. Six Heroes: Given the fact that they're becoming more central to the plot and becoming playable characters in their own right, its not unjustified. (Trinity and Jubei when :V) Sector 7: This one is hilarious because out of the characters that have this theme, only one of them even gives a damn about Sector 7 and barely at that. In-JUSTICE: Pretty much a parallel to Jin & Tsubaki, but replace "Childhood friendship/romance" with Atonement and hero worship. Dissonance: This one is sort of justified retroactively (Thanks Bloodedge experience :V) Ragna vs. Izanami: Brother and Sister, main hero and main villain, yadda yadda (still wondering why Jin doesn't have this theme against her :V) Kokonoe/Celica vs. Nine: Mother, her daughter, and her sister. It's kind of hard not to justify this, especially since Nine has kind of gone off the deep-end.

SF is fighting games right down to their most basic elements, there's a lot less emphasis on combos than in BB or GG and its more about simply outplaying your opponent in neutral and offense. Every fighting game really offers something different, Marvel players have to pretty play do or die and get the proper setup for a touch of death combo, so neutral is extremely important there as well as managing your assists. I'm not too familiar with NRS games, but I imagine Mortal Kombat has similar mechanics. Muscled badass goes around steam-rolling the entire cast with nothing but his bare hands and laughs like a maniac while doing it. Add the fact that he's Asura in Japanese and Wesker in English, and there's no reason to not love Azrael. It also helps that he's been consistently good since his debut unlike the other CP newcomers :V
