Any tips against Jin? Just played 50 matches against one, and this matchup seems impossible to me. Every single of his moves beat our moves. His 5C even beat our 5B, wtf is that. I even got beaten by a j.B, dear god. His j.2C is godlike, can't antiair that shit. I'm kinda lost against him tbh, i don't see how we can beat his neutral game.

I always dashed before 5C in the corner, already noticed it could whiff depending on the alignment of the planets. Same thing with 6CC > 214B, i'll never try 2CC, i know it can fail sometimes. The delay on 2CC isn't so bad actually, it's fairly easy most of the time. Better get used to do these right off the bat :\ @Posts above : i think i'll pass on the 623C j214A corner combo. It's too inconsistant to be worth it. And the timing on the j.214A is gay, you can't really make sure it will hit.

The 11.4k combo is not pratical at all. You need to OD+Mugen and starts with a 22D FC. But who needs such a combo anyway, when you can deal 5-6k with any mugen combo already

Yeah i should use 5B > 5C instead of 5BB now, gotta get used to it i guess.

I finally know why my tsubaki can't deal damage. 5B Starter is ass. 5C starter is freaking huge, and you'll deal 3/4k easily with it. Gotta spam more 5C D;

Yes she's definitely harder to master than she was in CS2 or Extend (didn't try CS1) But i think she's worth it. A great Tsubaki can install fear into the opponent. And her damage potential is freaking huge (Hakumen style)

She is weaker than before that's for sure. Her combos don't do so much damage anymore, and her pressing isn't so great. But her drives are now so fast that it's a blockstun, and you can't DP in it anymore, except when she uses her feint overhead to low, there is a small gap where you can DP. And now if you block her overhead (6B i believe), just DP. She will (almost) always cancel it by 5D. I really hated this matchup on extend, now it's much easier.

This 5BB whiff is starting to get on my nerves. We even get punished for it, that's really dumb. Arcsys, why? Our 2C is still a really solid anti air. But i can't seem to confirm it just yet, looks harder than in csex :\. I struggle to deal more than 3k damage tbh. I don't really know the new properties of our moves and what should I do to increase the damages. And I tend to waste all my bars into stupid combos

Yes, try to delay the 5C. The recovery on the JC is huge, so most of the time if you are too fast 5C won't come out. Also cancel the jump immediatly with j.D, if you are too high it will obviously won't combo

It's true for the OD cancel. Try to delay it a little bit on 5CC, it won't work. Also the pushback on 5CC is kinda huge. 5CC > OD > Mugen > [4]6D will (almost?) never work, even in corner.

Ok i got to play her 3h today, a few matches and some training. What can I say other than : they pretty much changed everything and we almost have to learn to play her from scratch. Day one experience : - 5BB 5CC 236B connects. Actually 236B connects on pretty much everything. - Don't use 5A. It became a piece of crap. The starter is awful now, leads to 1.5k damage combo at best. That's a shame really. 5B is our best "normal" starter now. - 2C is still a pretty solid anti air. I even beat Noel's j.D with it. The hitstun has been improved too, but opponent now floats less, and it's really disturbing at first. 2CC needs to be delayed in every combo, get used to it. - Speaking of 2CC, it comes out MUCH faster now. - 22B chain needs to be charged to prevent opponent to tech mid air. It's very easy to do as 214B launch opponent at the good height for 22B fully charged to connect easily. - 22D needs to be fully charged for a wallbounce. Same setup as 22B during a combo. - ODs need to be timed for OD cancel. You can't just press it at any time during a move. For exemple, if you want to OD cancel 5CC, you need to press ABCD at the exact time 5CC hits. If you are late, CT will come out. - OD + Mugen = autowin. Best combo i found deals 9650 damage. - [4]6C is annoying tbh. I often use the 5B > 6C option select, but now if I had my guard before, 46C will come out instead of 6C. That sux. - 6CC will always connect if 6C did. - j.CC has more hitstun, and it's much easier to connect 5C after now. You can hit pretty high and 5C will hit. - 2BB cross over okizeme is really hard to do. I couldn't find the good timing yet, you will need a lot of pratice to do it consistantly - 5BB will whiff very often. At least it did a lot of time during my matches. Was kinda annoying. I thought they had improved the hitbox, but it's worse than in CSEX. 5B>5C will almost never whiff tho. - 623C is win - Command throw > RC > CT has a very strict timing. Leads to a 2.5k combo without drive, 3k combo in corner with drive - Every form of charge is slower than before. j.D is awful, almost useless for charging. - 6A is great now In general, the game feels faster, smoother. Tbh i'm kinda disappointed in Tsubaki damage wise. She has a huge potential but you need a lot of ressources. That's about it

Ok thanks. Yeah i noticed that Tsubaki is neutral immediatly after landing, that's pretty cool. I guess the increase of blockstun (DP C is level 5 while DP A is level 4), plus the angle of the fireball makes it much harder to punish

Do we know if the recover of j.236D has been reduced? It's extremely easy to punish it in CSEX, but in those CP videos, almost nobody ever punishes it. edit : i meant the j.236D as a follow up of the DP

I don't know about the damage, he wasn't really a big damage dealer in the first place. He does fairly decent damage for a mixup character tbh. That's not his weak point imo. -
