It would be a fantastic if you're up to uploading them EDIT: OK. It's taking a very long time to sort the Video Threads Match Up Links and get them back up since the forum update. Must be me then, I didn't spend long with 5A/2A routes recently due to time. I'll have a blast tomorrow as I have a day off to play more and sort things out

I find you have to go careful with 5/2A stuff into 5CD > 6C > J.C stuff, it can not hit properly on a character like Makoto (had troubles the other day). That or you have to be very close to the character because I find it's hard to get all 6C hits in. You could end 6C earlier with the j.C though. 2A starter (depending on the size of the character and if you have the wind stock) I like doing these two routes: (Start of route) 2A > 5B > 6B > jc9 > j.3D > j.B > j.C > into the following 3 routes (Branch/Option 1) > 5BD > 6A > 4B > (dash) > 5CC > Summon (Branch/Option 2) > 5B > 3C8D > 5CC > Summon (Branch/Option 3 with 50 heat) > 5B > 3C > BBL > 5CC > Summon Mind you I haven't had time to test/play against every character in the game :/

[07/27/15] Rocha (TM) Vs Ten (RC) x5 EDIT 2: - Ok, adding matches are harder if you're working with Source so it's best to use the "Link" Option in the Post Tool Bar which is straight forward to make your link from. 1st box you add the link, the 2nd box you add the text to represent that link for example "RC (N-O) Vs JN (Tetsuwo)". - Backing up links have become a little more difficult though, I'm backing everything up in a notepad file as I go along. If you're thinking a post per character in a single thread, then one way to do it is in the OP/main/first post, you would need to make a contents page and all you would need to do is make a list of links that link the post number = character. Example: [url = post number link ] Ragna [ url ] Make list and so on. -
New Board (Match Ups) Sub Board (For Each Game) Inside the Sub Board will contain every possible match up. Have a pinned Thread that will act as a contents page for quick linking to Match Up threads. Like finding chapters in a book. (Saves you scrolling and scouting around for threads further down looking for the one you want)

Some more matches above. Sorry for names again ;___; Ok. So discussions were had and just trialling an idea based on SKDs Izayoi thread suggestion of analysing particular matches. General idea is to pick a link you think is worth discussing and then... Going on to discuss what you think, like, point out particular situations. How the match went. Kind of like a commentary but in written form and what's going through your mind I guess you could say. Anyone and everyone is welcome to try it. Stir up some discussion, get some feedback. I like how you've mentioned gimmicks, Errol was thinking also of specific bits of info here and there being added. Polka thought about having video referencing/recording specific situations, stuff geared towards newer players. I've had a look around for ideas from other character wikis, I'm still throwing random ideas out here so nothing is solid in my thought process when typing this. I also like the thought of may be having some videos with stuff like j.2C lvl 2 tutorials, how wind can help you move around or get out of certain situations (guess stuff universal to all versions of Rachel as well as specific to the version at the time may be?). The Rachel gameplay guide will need some revamping next version due to pumpkin causing change lol, so may be we could incorporate an updated one it into CF Rachel Wiki next time? (One other thing I feel (this is more of a wider thought for all characters), is that there should be a section within the character board linking directly to the Wiki for easier access/connectivity. Get it more known that it exists) Sorry for the mess of the post here, it's kinda rushed ;_;

Wiki First of all our wiki can be found here Rachel Alucard Dustloop Wiki So a point was brought up via Twitter about the Rachel Wiki and what resources would people like to see on it. The Wiki has been in a bit of a grey area for a while now and we're all thinking of ways it can be improved or built upon. So I've gone and made a thread for this discussion. (Twitter is too cramped) What does the Wiki have so far: - Overview on Rachel as a character. - Drive/OverDrive, Pros and Cons of Rachel in play. - External References linking to the JP Wiki, BBS, JP ranking info and video thread. - Move lists from normal to specials (basic frame data) - Strategy Section (Offence and Defence) - Neutral and Combos (these sections are empty) I and possibly others feel the wiki is often overlooked, so we need to think how to make good use of this and how we can make it appeal to new/fresh and current Rachel players alike. What do you want to see/be on the wiki? Let's get the ball rolling here and have an open discussion about it With CF soon upon us, we'll have to revamp/revise Rachel's Offence and Defence sections when it goes live but hopefully we can create a workable structure/shell.

Forgive me if I don't word this well :/ Challenge 15 is to use CT and then go into a 4K damaging combo. You can do this by pushing the opponent into the corner then: CT Guard Break > 5BD > 6C > 8D keeping Rachel afloat until she breaks 4K. Can use a J.C at the end if you wish. The above combo you're talking about. It's awkward I find to do but you might be having a problem with the SuperJump forward part? When you connect j.2C are you getting a FATAL show up on screen because FATAL will give you more height to work with and do > land > 214A > 236B > 9D > catch with 5B in time/tune to George activation. You'll be using a lot of wind and in the air a tad bit to do this combo in an actual match even if you're on max Overdrive time. Either way I hope I've managed to help, sorry if I sound confusing. I'm going to miss current 6B CH and going back to the BBCT one. I love having to air dash, catch and land combos ;_; Still not sure what the exact/average damage output is. Is there any info on that roughly? General BnB dmg is what's on my mind anyway. (Still trying to get over pumpkin being taken away from us)
