actually...the "ex shield" in melty blood is very similar to 3s parry. It's just that it have a specific button to activate, and have a whiff animation (so it can be punished in whiff). Maybe (i said maybe) we can compare it to "the last blade " deflect .

It's too early to judge anything, but i'm liking what i'm seeing. At least in those last videos, the players changed the way they are playing, suggesting things that were considered safe aren't anymore. I haven't seen yuzuhira use a single "elboru", and the players using her tried to do a loop of batou 66b and teleport mixups . Vatista players seemed to opt to use 66b instead of 66c (the ground "guru guru"/"rotation") in neutral game. Merkava player seemed to use a different combo route, used the f kouma tk dive kick grimmick, and aren't scared to use a super for it been safe on block. It's damm too early to judge anything but...if people discovered tatics to counter hyde/seth?
