  1. The bar was pretty bangin'. Totally packed on Friday, and they had a bunch of set ups in the back of it and they ran a Random Only tournament for $5 lol. I don't remember anything "going down" while I was there. All I know is we pretty much at all of their food lol. They started with serving Waffle Fries on Friday, were reduced to regular fries on Saturday, and only had chips left Sunday night lol
  2. Sounds like the WinterBrawl top 8 #kappa Seriously I walked out of there during that and hung out at the bar. They weren't playing the game right at all (except for Dieminion apparently). But yeah though. Minimizing hits into your Launch will help you get more damage. But in the beginning of the round, I usually just do solo combos until I have bar. Once I have bar, I start doing Tag Combos. Also don't forget that Raw Launch crushes lows and crouching normals.
  3. The Blanka blockstun infinite is like... linking Electricity in 2 frames, and you can't mash it out. It's pretty bullcrap, but we haven't seen anyone really utilize it yet. No comment on the Paul stuff lol. The Kuma glitch is literally only with the team Blanka/Ogre. And even with an optimal starter to combo into Team Super, and then charging a full Super up, I was only able to get like... A little over 550dmg. I could do basically that much with a regular two bar Tag Combo. But it's still a time scam. Marvel 3 is still way worse on glitches and dumb stuff though. SFxT is a good game.
  4. Man I haven't been here in a while... I'm glad to see that the Amane players seem to be refining their gameplan. I'm really enjoying this Kei guy.
  5. Well it's always worth a shot. I'll be hanging out in the poverty area at WinterBrawl this weekend. Maybe I'll load it up and try to get people playing lol

  7. Playable online could help, but how many people even remember this game? Not only that, but everyone seems to have a bad taste in their mouth about Revolve because of the first game. So how many people would even bother to try it? At least practicing Senna combos is fun :<

  10. So I ended up booting this game up again (since I couldn't get Eternal Fighter Zero to work on Win7). This game is still really fun :< I wish it wasn't dead.

  12. I personally think it's too early for any kind of tiers as well. Though discussing them is always fun. I don't really care how low Amane is. If he has any match-ups that are just completely unwinnable, or extremely in the opponents favor, then I'll just Jin it to Win it. If not, then it's all fab, all the time.

  15. Yup, you can cancel faphop into fabhop! It's visually confusing, and I feel that it's currently underutilized by Amane players. Jump > Airdash x Fabhop x Fabhop gives him great mobility options.
  16. The fist is going to have some interesting applications. That's the first time I've actually seen it comboed into at midscreen like that. Yeah Shin! Don't be so... Cold-hearted
  17. So... I love how Shadow was using the 623C as a jump trap lol. Also the Tager match... just. That was as hilarious as I hoped it'd be.
  18. It might be a good idea for Rags since he (still?) has the lowest heath in the game. The amount of damage Amane can inflict to him via chip is disgusting. And I love it.
  19. It was cool meeting the two of you as well. Hopefully I didn't come off as too annoying seeing as how I was basically drunk all weekend lol Hmm... Well if people (Ragna) try to escape the Oki with a DP, then wouldn't they still theoretically have to block a 6D? I haven't actually watched the video to see the actually escape. I'm assuming Amane would still be in his drill summoning animation though. Of course if they don't rapid then we get a nice little counter/fatal
  20. Well at least we know we can pick them up after the DP. So if we have a lv.3 Drill (and the bar is almost empty), we might be able to just OTG 2B, 2D x 236A, j.6D into more damage. Assuming he has a gatling into 2D lol I mean if we can't do another DP we should have other, more damaging, options.

  22. Watching the DP Loop is definitely giving me ideas for silly things. Like if 6A (or CH 6A) knocks the opponent up high enough for a drill summon, and you have lv3 drill, you could possibly do: 6A, Drill Stance, L Drill Summon, opponent lands on drill, 623C, otg 2A 623C and more stuff. Of course because we don't have the game I have no idea how any of these moves would react with each other so there is a high chance that none of this works at all. Because I think they just get pulled straight down if they collide with an drill from the air. So maybe in the corner if you hit them with level 3 Drill and can't 6D because of overheat, you might be able to just 2A, 6A over and over lol. This character has so many possibilities and I can't test any of them
  23. I think stuff got lost when the servers crashed. Again. Also I could have sworn I saw Amane combo their CA, but I don't have footage to confirm. Anyway, I watched the vids that Instal posted before the server crash, vs a Ragna and Litchi. And I watched the Amane vs Buppa's Hazama last night (instead of packing for NEC), and here are some things I noticed: -Counter hit 5D has some delicious stun on it. Because of the range and how safe it is, I feel like 5D is going to be a really good neutral move. -Fabhop canceled into another fabhop is visually confusing and just as fantastic as it sounds. Totally underutilized at the moment in my opinion. -Not completely Amane related, but when you hit Ragna as he's doing Deadspike, DS loses it's hitbox. Amane can do this really easily with 6D. -Counter hit j.6D wallbounce will probably lead to some really delicious combos -Corner DP Loooooooooooooooooooooops <3 -j.D has a pretty big looking hit box. Crossups are possible with it. It will probably be a good button to come down with on someone trying to cross under, or while fabhopping at someone. -If you can't set up Drill oki, then a meaty 5D will probably suffice. -6A seems to have an amazing horizontal hitbox. I keep seeing this thing hit crossup and it's amaaaaazing. -It looks like you can do a j.2B, and then do a falling j.D and are either safe in between, or just really hard to punish. -You guys probably knew this already, but it looks like 236C and j.236C are special cancelable, at least into the C Distortion. -You can smack Jin in the legs with 2C during the startup of Ice Wave lol And I'm really digging the way that Shadow was using Amane. So here is my current Amane conclusion: Amane is a rushdown character that occasionally trolls on the other side of the screen and doesn't care whether you're blocking or not. (Though I'm sure you all knew that too lol)
  24. A safe sweep... That would be amazing. Haha but a backwards fabhop could just let Amane keep on pressure with more buttons. I'm still curious about his Drill Stance cancels. They look fairly quick so maybe something like: Whatever, 3C xx Stance Cancel, Throw/6B/2B/5D chip/3C again I know his long range C normals cause massive hitstun, but I don't know about his others so this may or may not be as useful as I'm hoping.
  25. I actually have a general question about his fabhops that I shouldn't need to bug Bedsheets about. Fabhop is only cancelable into normals and other fabhops, right? And any airdashing or doublejumping will have to be done once the hop is finished?
