Unless you're specifically looking for UNIST footage, I would recommend you to look at Grove or Senaru vs Maakun to get an idea of how to play the matchup at a high level. Maybe it won't give you hope about the matchup, because Maakun doesn't give away wins easily, but it might give you some ideas to work with.

When you parry a move, it can't be cancelled into anything else. So several of Hilda's best pokes like 2B or 2C can be maneuvered around by parrying. In addition, ic5C (charged 5C) is a free punish for Akatsuki if he parries it, just dash up and 5B (or dash 6C if you've practiced that). Only go for 6B when she starts to low shield brazenly, you'll just kill your pressure if it gets blocked. Switch between frame traps, pressure resets, 214A and throws to keep her on her toes. If 214A hits meaty it's plus on block, but I haven't researched what setups work against Hilda. On a hard read on a lynchpin in a block string, do 236A IW for huge damage. Remember that your IW has good range, and raw IW is a solid threat if she starts getting predictable with her block strings.

The MS nerf is what's making me nervous. I didn't mind that they nerfed his mixup or his reversals or his GRD-gain, but if they're doing all that AND nerfing his neutral, I'm not really sure there's a lot left that I like. I hope they at least make air MS usable. The move looks so baller, yet is so worthless.

Destrade made a tweet about Gordeau when they nerfed Grim Reaper that he didn't think Gordeau was worth maining anymore because he no longer has any unique advantages. I don't know if he's being really pessimistic or not, but it's a shame if Destrade stopped playing him when ST arrives.

Yes. So in 50 minutes. The bracket for the first ranbat is here: http://challonge.com/unieleuranbats0

That would be great! I'm currently in the process of finding or making prizes, and we'll see if we can't get this up and running for next week. Currently the day seems to be tuesday evenings, starting around 1800. If someone can't play at those times every week, please recommend another day and time!
-
However, if you were willing to stream parts of the ranbat, that would be great! We could use one or a few streamers, it would be great to get the majority of matches streamed.

So with the english release right around the corner, it seems interest in UNIEL has once again blossomed. As such, I thought we should try to have a weekly ranbat for all europeans, for hype and glory and prizes. We would need to settle on a weekday and time. My first proposal would be saturdays or sundays, starting at around 1500 - 1600. Every week there would be possibly be a small prize to the winner, and then a larger prize at the end of the season. No big money, just a little something to spice things up. Regarding connection and so on, I would say that two bars and up to the person you're playing is acceptable. I understand that some would only like to play with people with three or four bars, but we want as many people as possible in this! So how many would be interested in this?

[UNIEL] System Mechanics (Updated: April 20th, 2015)
Neophos replied to Tari's topic in Under Night In Birth
214D~B with a character that has a 214X-special? Some quick testing shows that you can not cancel the startup of shield into specials or supers, but you can kara it into a throw (2 frames window) and IW takes priority over it (412364D gives IW instead of shield). -
Destination: Gear is a series of Guilty Gear-tournaments in Skövde, Sweden, now also featuring BlazBlue: Chronophantasma and Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late! This will probably be the last tournament in those games in Sweden before the release of Xrd, so if you want to come by and challenge the infamous swedish Guilty Gear-scene, this might just be your last chance! Hotels and hostels are within walking distance of the venue, and you can sleep at the venue if you want to. Here's the thread on Bitterharmony, if you want to gauge interest and such: http://bitterharmony.se/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=4902 Hope to see you there!

I don't know if anyone has posted something like this, but I didn't find it with a quick skim, so here's a list of characters instant j.C is an overhead option on: Mu - Only in block stun. 6B -> instant j.C does not work. Relius - Always. 6B -> instant j.C does not work. Makoto - Only in block stun. 6B -> instant j.C does not work. Taokaka - Only in block stun. 6B -> instant j.C does not work. Hazama - Never. Hakumen - Always. Allows you to IAD j.B j.C after the RC, so you can do instant j.C from further away (tight timing). Kagura - Only in block stun. 6B -> instant j.C does not work. Tager - Always. Allows you to IAD j.B j.C after the RC, so you can do instant j.C from further away. Litchi - Never. Ragna - Only in block stun. 6B -> instant j.C works on block but not on hit. Bullet - Never. Terumi - Never. Azrael - Never. Noel - Never. Izayoi - Never. Amane - Never. Jin - Only in idle. 6B -> j.C works on block, but the j.C hits late. Does not work on hit. Yes, yes, I know, another event from the swedes that are too bloody lazy to travel anywhere. Anyway, the steam's been running a bit low, and we thought it's about time to bring the hype, so we present: Destination: Showdown Another major international Guilty Gear-tournament, this time hosted in Skövde, Sweden. Skövde is about 20 kilometres from Gothenburg, and the train fare really isn't that much more expensive than the bus to the old place. So, what's gonna happen? There'll be TV's, there'll be Guilty Gears, there'll be hype and grudges and Swedish pizza, and all will be well. Currently, the venue is able to host 149 people at most, so that's the current limit. If we'll reach it (and that would be mad hype!), there's an even bigger venue right next door, so have no fears, we'll be able to have the most hype ever regardless of how many people want to come! The entry fee would be around 30 euros, cheaper if there's enough people to support it, and then some money for the tournaments. There's places to sleep, hopefully places to shower, places to eat, and places to hype. We'll get some shots of the venue up in a bit, to show it off, but generally, we want to know the answer to this: Are you guys willing to come?

Sogos - Thank you for the comments, but just a few things: From my experience with it, Bridget's corner-pressure is far from shitty. Really, if he neutral sets, he usually got enough time to 3P any poke I throw out, which usually results in a counterhit to a quick knockdown combo. Unless I start doing psychic DoT's, trying to poke him out of his frametraps usually doesn't go in my favor. I'm horrible at linking from 2P, yeah. Guess I gotta practice that. Anyway, here's three more vids from the same session, different player: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icJR4zMckX0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfA9-XPqsAM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8_4g3JpEWQ

Much appreciated, thank you.

Anyone know what song is in this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8YG_-VVwnY ?

That first combo is the most awesome impossible dust ever.

If the jD thing is true, it makes the link insanely tight, as you'd have the land the frame after landing the jK and execute the 5H the same frame you get out of recovery. So I guess it's a bit more sane to simply practice 5H relaunches without jD's in them.
