  1. Standard character release responses: "What tier?"/"Looks like they have low damage"/"x is bullshit" Once people iron out optimized combos and figure out her set-ups/combination attacks, then weigh in on "tiers". At least she looks interesting enough to get some player rep, can't wait for more footage of what's possible with her supers.
  2. I have to question if they really just left the master unit floating there. Can anyone offer any clarity of where the master unit and the embryo end up? Guess all that's left is wait for explanations to all the randomness they threw out at the end :/
  3. But it obviously doesn't connect there?
  4. An S+/C spread? I wouldn't put any faith in that at all
  5. I just realized, wouldn't it be possible to meaty hakumen with 2c and then cancel into valiant charger/hornet bunker for armor? Since 2c is a hybrid projectile shouldn't it make hakumen's counter blockable and allow you a free armor trap? Theoretically possible with bang as well if he's using D to beat out any pokes too.
  6. That 9BS palette so gooooooooooood. I'm so torn between that and Justice ;_;
  7. Patriot apocalypse
  8. Once you're playing the game at a decent level and repeatedly capitalizing on opportunities then every character pretty much only needs 3-4 real combos to kill anyone. There is of course statistical noise on this, and I think a decent neutral game allows you to shave off how many "real" combos you need to do to win a round. Someone like Nu does below average damage in Dia form (outside of certain situations) but it accounts for a lot of easy ins and poke damage. I guess one way to look at it would be Nu is more concerned about doing 2.5k then 2.5k then 5k to win a round, whereas someone like Ragna can do 3k to 4k to 4k. Having really crazy situational damage like Mu/Hakumen will win some rounds where you basically x-factor your opponent and go nuts on him for 10k, but so far nothing seems too crazy. I think tying over-drive length to health was a really smart idea honestly.
  9. 6K from a 4b in the corner for only 25 seems almost too good to be true. As for comboing into CT I imagine there are a number of options realistically; I wonder if Luna 236d to CT could also be used in combo like a Luna 4b > 2dd > 6a > A gravity > 6a > crescent > 6a > 6c > 236d > CT > Cavalier > stuff
  10. What are the meter/OD requirements on that though? As far as proration goes 6b > j.B > 4b, and any optimized combo will definitely be using Luna gravity and cavalier. I'm starting to wonder if Luna sickle to spike is worth keeping in with that 80 p2 on spike, but I guess that late into the combo the damage is so eroded the difference will probably only be double digits.
  11. It would make the the Ragna/Nu match-up hilarious at the very least.
  12. loop live now http://live.nicovideo.jp/watch/lv117776072?ref=ser&zroute=search&keyword=BBCP Central804 is also live http://www.twitch.tv/central804
  13. Oh so that's what that is? I always figured it was just him chaining into cobra strike from tiger magnum whiff. I guess it's just a white shiny cobra strike then.
  14. See now that's what I'm thinking; With all the set-ups he can get from weak-points and what not, what reason would there be to never use it?
  15. Well even looking at the data we have no damage value for it though I guess p1/p2 for it is universal. It just seems strange to me that I've never seen it used by any Azrael regardless of skill/style. Even when we had the imgur album for the moves uploaded I don't think his CT was pictured.
