The motivation is trying to get better(for me at least). Something that could help is finding a consistent group of people to play against and train with.

I've been trying to figure how to pressure with I-No from oki and just normal blockstrings. When I try things in training mode nothing really seems good. Can someone point me in the right direction?

You should have gotten it by now, if not keep trying and make sure you have the aerial tech options set to either back or front. Maybe you should try using a heavier character or getting familiar with the timing for 5P instead of c.S

I just fought Ama's Jam, and I have no clue what happened. One minute I was blocking the next, 70% is gone and I'm blocking 6Hs and Puffballs in the corner. Fucking terrifying. But seriously how do I even fight Jam? I literally have no clue what I'm supposed to do beside barrier a lot and don't ever make my oki predictable. I'm still a beginner so I can't even really maximize my damage that well or consistently at all. I know the last post was a good chunk of time ago but some help would really be appreciated. Can anyone confirm if we can still do CL dash momentum stuff? Removing the option for HCL stuff seems so strange? Where she getting her damage from?

GGs to Fabu_Soul yesterday and today to Shishido_Baiken. I need to learn my matchups and get my combos consistent. Especially work on my oki as well.

And you can always go for j.D if you feel like they are getting too comfortable with trying to throw after j.H. Since it floats you can use it after any move connects. Even j.P > j.P > j.D works.

Thanks, it just feels really bad because I feel like I passed the biggest hurdle and now I'm stuck on fairly simple stuff.

At this point I can get CL frc airdash really consistently, but when I try to do j.S > VCL after it I tense up and do 6FRC6 too fast almost every time. I've spent a couple days working on it and trying to get used to it but even in training mode I constantly fuck it up. I can even 6FRC6 > j.S fine most of the time, but whenever I try to go for the VCL after I mess up my inputs. I'm getting so frustrated with it which is just making it worse. As well as now when I try to do 63214[8]6 I instead do a full 360 motion which makes my TK HCL happen late a lot of the time. Did anyone else have these problems when they were learning I-No?
