So just wondering how tight is the microdash needed for the corner 623B > md.2B followup I know this is a bit out of place in the Bang thread but if anyones tried doing the microdashes needed to get the 5A after you do Hazama's 214D~B in his grounded BnB is it as tight a link as that? The range on Bang's 2B is really far and I know that you don't need to microdash if you just get like a raw 5C,2C in the corner but anytime I'm outside that range the 2B is out too late or the dash just doesn't come out =/ Is there anything else I might be missing to get this down aside from just practicing it more because my current success rate is something near to about 1/50, actually I'm having a hard time remembering the last time it actually connected haha...
  2. ah yes there is that haha..... when I was testing it in training mode I had to do the input in reverse or else it wouldnt come out
  3. Cool so that still leaves more than half the cast who can't escape without meter and only 3 that can escape meterless.

So I want to make sure I'm not wrong about this but all the air reset combos into shippugeki, they won't work on a Terumi with 50meter because he can just mash any of his air supers during the flash. And from what I've tested Arakune, Noel, Platinum, Taokaka and Jin can also get out of it with their air supers and Makoto/Ragna can get out with their air DP, but you have to reverse the inputs. Also everyone can get out if they use overdrive right? but they probably wouldve already bursted the earlier combo so thats not really worth considering (unless it came back mid/end of the combo) Let me know if I'm forgetting anyone, Tagers air command grab is 6frame startup so that should be too slow. Although I would be impressed if a player would have the presence of mind//knowledge to react to the reset properly during the super flash, considering your inputs are reversed also.
  5. so I found out after many moons of bang practice that the reason I can't land the 5A after 6C iadj.C j.2C is because I am doing my iad TOO FAST so I'm so low to the ground my j.2C either whiffs or hits too early before I land. Now I am finding it is really hard to do a "slower" iad haha....usually just do it with 8966 but now slowly starting to get the hang of 96 but yeah wooh mystery solved.
  6. So I want to confirm this, Shadow Labrys isn't actually considered the Shadow version of Labrys like the rest of the cast so she doesn't get meter carry-over?
  7. Well he still calls Jin "A little bitch" when he does Gauntlet Hades after he does a 2,500+ combo or w/he he still says "GET OFF MY SHIT" AND rayplay says he was joking so yeah that was a false alarm I'm sure.
  8. yeah its timing dashing the tiny pixel that's giving me the issue haha if I had the time to do a full dash and 2B it would be a lot easier thats for sure. I think I'm kinda getting why my 5A isn't connecting and that my IAD for my j.C isn't as "instant" as it should be haha
  9. specifically when it calls for in trials 24/29 is what is giving me trouble, also I can get the 5A to connect when I do 5B>2B>6C>8966(IAD)>jC>5A of course they're too high and the 5B afterwards doesn't connect so it isnt exactly useful it's just something I found in my many attempts to do the combo. (mainly when I'd miss the j.2C but press the 5A anyways) Also is there anything aside from "lots of practice" to getting the microdash2B pickups off of 623B in the corner? That seems to be where he gets the majority of his combo damage from and I just wanna make sure I'm not missing out on any workarounds or ways to take advantage of input buffers to make timing it easier etc.

I'm having trouble getting bangs 5A to connect after his 6C jc.IAD j.C j.2C I don't understand the timing behind it, I get it to connect if I don't do the j.2C but whenever I add that they just recover and the 5A doesn't connect. Are there any tricks to timing it or the airdash to make it connect successfully?

Just a little "trick" I found for those having trouble with Trial #22 or getting 662B to connect after a 623B in the corner knocks you a bit too far back Instead of the trials 5B 2B 2C, I went 5B 2B 6C J.D TK CShuriken then you just continue the trial from the 2C 623B and you're much closer to the corner so you don't have to dash to get the 2B 5D to connect. Of course this defeats the purpose of learning the 662B pickup since this is usually used for crouching confirms in the corners but it's a nice workaround if you just want to get the trial complete
  13. I found a nice but quite impractical combo for his trial #30 Corner: 6B(FC) j.OD j.Messenga 5B 5C 22C 5D 6D 236D Soutenjin x2 (make sure to let both finish)
