  1. It impresses me how easier it is now to deal decent damage without ignis. It's something Relius really needed, he now has a better okizieme game and damage potential afterward. About the changes, I'm sure you saw this already but it's important to note that ignis has projectile armor on a lot of her move now. For instance, hazama's ouroboros is a pain in extend because it unsummon ignis all the time when you use her to approach. It's the same story with bang's nail, Relius had trouble using 4d or 214a against him because of that.
  2. Pardon me guys, I really don't know a lot about Carl but I would like to understand something. I read here and there "Carl is too heat dependant" ; "Carl doesn't do enough damage" ; but why is it problem ? I mean, Carl can build heat as easily as Mu can eat your guard primer in extend. Once he is in your face with Nirvana, if you don't have a reversal you are pretty much dead because of his mixes up, resets and corner pressing. So, what's the problem ? He doesn't do Hakumen's damage but he has insanely good resets and okizieme. He may be heat dependent now, but it's not really a problem because he can press you forever which build meter a lot. Plus Carl isn't at his full potential yet, he obviously is a really deep character. If the only problems you have about carl are those 2 points (heat and damage) well... I think it's to balance him. If Carl could do 4k without nirvana and meterless everytime he hits, it would be silly. This is my point of view as a non Carl player but you know the character way better than me, maybe you could explain me why I'm wrong.
  3. I think he means when she's active but you don't use her. Talking about Ignis regen and stuff, she starts to regen her life 1 second later in CP but she regen faster indeed. It doesn't look like a big deal but it changes the way Ignis works in CP.
  4. 6C does combo after 5C if the opponent is crouched now, I think it's not the case in extend but I might be wrong (I haven't play recently). If it's the case, for me it compensate the lost because I always have trouble to combo into 6b ; It whiffs on little character such as Platinium, Noel or Tsubaki if you are not point blank and you aren't most of the time.
  5. Here are a couple of matchs played the 8 December. Relius vs azrael. Good Relius play with a great mobility and ignis use. Relius vs Tager. Relius vs Nu 13. At 1h06, the Relius did a j.B dj.c j.2D j.b mix up, and it did combo. Is it possible to do this in extend too ? I tried this kind of set ups a couple of months ago in training but if I remember well it never did combo. Relius vs Hazama. I like how he uses ignis to annoy the hell out of hazama in this match up. So far, the overall Ignis speed boost does a bigger difference than I thought, I can't wait to play this game .
  6. Yo everyone ! First of all, I have to thank you for the good work you do in this Relius part of the forum. Let's go for the hot stuff now ! Do you guys have an idea if shadow still plays with Relius or he will definitely stays with amane ? He is my fav' Relius player in extend, I learnt a lot from him and he does wonder with amane now. I'd love to see how he plays Relius with the changes. We still have Ryo and Tori at least. Anyway, I'm excited, I love the changes and particulary the overall speed boost on Ignis. The 22x seems to help too in a couple of match ups or to have a better okizieme . Sad point though... that overhead is still so damn slow. Come on arcsiy, how can you give Azrael something like 50 extremly fasts overheads with combo as a reward and let Relius' one the way it is right now : slow, unsafe, without a proper reward if it hits :-/. In advance, sorry for my english, I do my best . The world isn't american, don't forget about that before to yell on me :p.
