  1. Umm, I understand by Sanctuary Battle you either mean the first half of the series or the PS2 game. I watched a couple of videos with Seiya and I definitely heard Morita's voice instead of Furuya's. Am I missing/getting something wrong here?
  2. Does the original 5 Bronze saints have their original VA's or the ones from the Inferno chapter? In Omega they used the original ones, except for Hirotaka Suzuoki (Shiryu's old VA) who passed away already in 2006.
  3. Surely there are a LOT of bad Dragon Ball fighting games, but the original Budokai 1 - 3 I could actually compare to BB. First was nice, gameplay hasn't aged well and it's limited taken to account it's potential. The second one is an improvement but has a couple too many gimmicks and isn't yet polished enough to be DA game. The third one is the magnum opus, superior to the two before in every way. (Nostalgia got over me, sorry!) But the Tenkaichi-series? Not a fan, especially 1 & 3, 2 is ok.
  4. Totally loving this sh*t xD I got to try U. Az out when I was playing Abyss level 10, it's a shame Turn Unlimited -boost can't be bought from the store and you lose it when you lose/finish the level you're playing. It was nice to go totally haywire and do 22.9k combos with the Abyss stat boosts, still can't beat U. Tager in Unlimited Mars though xP
  5. Really hoping they'd make a versus theme for Bang and Kagura and include it in a patch/DLC. It's not happening but I can dream can I?
  6. It's a shame most of Azrael's cross-up -okis can be mashed out of. If you're fighting against a DP-happy opponent and you land ground TCL, I found these to be quite useful: * Dash real close, as soon as they get up (tech effect ends, if they roll just walk closer) > dash cross-up, their DP whiffs, free CH combo (3D +++). or to really tip them off: * (TCL) > Gustaf (whiffs), they get up > dash cross-up, CH 3D I tested this with Ragna's 623D/C, Jin's 623C and Tsubaki's 623C, no complaints except that Jin's DP has a rather wide hit box so your cross-up timing has to be just right plus you have to right next to them, with that it's safer to do 2C from max distance.

  8. Feel free to share your guilty pleasures as well. One I can think of is Castlevania Judgment, which I like acknowledging it's badness.
  9. Since it's Dustloop, we all know how it feels to pick up a fighting game, play it for 5 minutes and then just rage about it's controls, system, characters et cetera. I started playing fighting games seriously (= playing BB & GG) in 2010 but before that I had played many fighting games like DBZ Budokai series, Soul Calibur and Tekken. So back in '06 when I first played... ...I instantly knew to leave it and never play it again. Let's just say for me it had zero appeal (CONTROLS), even being a mild fan of the series (SUCK). Please comment and share your picks for the suckiest FG ever!
  10. That's a real bullsh*t bonus, every game (and I mean EVERY GAME) in the series had dual audio included in the original release. The Inferno case, he's not really special as he's just another Charade, but misleading advertising just sucks.
  11. Finally beat all challenges for Azrael, 28 was the hardest in my opinion. I guess it's just me that j.C > 214D connects once in 100 tries. I'd better not even try U. Az out even if I ever unlock him, it would just mess up my training with links xd I'm guessing it's like Sol's Bandit Revolver with the two hits and FC is Bandit Stinger. Hornet Chaser is practically same as Dust so, yeah.
  12. Anybody got to play Unlimited Az yet? After finishing all the Score Attack courses I've been trying to take down Unlimited Mars... Course C is the easiest I think, most of the time I have no problem getting to Tager. Unlimited Noel AI is sweet, especially when you're both in the opposite corners of the screen.

  14. Thanks for enlightening, though not technically a glitch I think it can be classified as one, based on the fact that if the first hit connects the rest should too. I'm guessing they could patch this by making the first hit give the opponent a set location, like they do when you do DDs at corners (characters aren't pushed through the walls etc.) but it's probably not necessary when this mostly happens when you mash B and get a CH by an accident.

So you mean Azrael's own hitbox moves to the place already occupied by(or near) the opponent's hitbox, thus making them stand AND move to the nearest free place (which in this case is behind Az). But even if Azrael moves during Scud, so does the opponent (if you're right next to them), why doesn't this happen when the opponent is already standing? Mod Edit for the image: Like... How are these cases different since Scud makes the opponent stand? (Yeah the pic got shrinked :p)
  16. = Glitch with the hitbox? There's nothing "special" (like Valiant Chaser -related) movement involved here, just a ground bounce. I'm pretty sure this thing will get fixed in the patch.
  17. Ran into to a funny glitch one day, I was playing Score Attack cource C with Azrael as the first opponent. I got counter-hit 5BB and followed it with Scud. For some reason, when my Scud connected the opponent-Az jumped behind my Azrael, so that the rest of Scud didn't connect and thus no weakpoints.

  19. Valiant is still the most deceptive overhead Azrael's got. As for lows 3D and Hornet are both great.
  20. From watching the video (and reading Bakery's post) I'd say there were a couple of times I would've just used 2C. If you can pinpoint the attacks in Tao's combos where she must use Cs or specials to continue pressure you could use Valiant also since it can absorb one hit.

  22. I've been living in a lie, I always thought Ragna's sword's blade was blunt but only playing the story mode in Chronophantasma I saw it was sharp...
  23. I'd LOVE it if they'd make a system voice where every character says their own name, Celica & Jubei & Saya could say the rebels wins etc. Or just make a Terumi troll version.
  24. Sounds odd, I'll report if I'll spot anything suspicious. I've completed about 50% of all the challenges. Anyway I'd love to see dummy Azrael try to do Carl's combos.
  25. Whenever I fight online (especially vs. Makoto) people tend to mash 5a/2a whenever I get a knockdown and dash right next to them. That's why I think it would be wiser to not go right next to them but go to the distance where you can dash behind them, AKA 5b distance for most characters. Then as soon as they get up you dash behind them, their reversal whiffs and you can go 5bb > rekkas or 2c > 6d.
