  2. Sweet, I can definitely dig it. I greatly prefer it to Super, Ultra, Ultimate, etc. Also, it reminds me of Bayonetta's edgy "Nonstop Climax" marketing campaign.
  3. Is the "Climax" bit official/from the horse's mouth or is it a fan made nickname?
  4. *Squeals* YUME! OMG Thank God a (relatively) recent video with Yume's Aigis. That guy is hard to track down! Does he have a Twitter or something? (and sorry I know this is isn't exactly the place).
  5. From what I've seen, j.C easily cancels into D megido every time. Also, as Ached Sphinx pointed it out, it can be used as a very unique and very deadly cross-up. When she jumps over you while you're grounded, I think it's that there's so much space between you and her that you kind of think that there's nothing she can do at that range to really cause trouble for you. So you might not hold block AAAaand you eat J.c, the beginning of an ugly combo. If the first j.C hits, a good Aigis is always ready for the megido follow-up. As Aigis players we need to learn this technology quickly. Going against Aigis, remember to block if she's jumping over you in Orgia mode on wake-up EVEN IF SHE'S TOO FAR TO CONNECT WITH J.B because j.C is so deadly. And because of its range/speed, it will hit while she's very close to the ground, making for more mind games. I also have my own question. I apologize if this was posted in the combo thread or elsewhere before I ask. I played a great Aigis player the other day who, aside from terrorizing me with that crossup, showed me a great combo. It was like 5AA>j.C>D megido>5B> j.B> j.C> D Megido>Escape change. I'm not exact on the notation, but the most important thing I noticed about the combo is that it carried two untechable megidos with no meter. I've tried the combo listed but the opponent can always tech out of the second megido and sometimes (depending on the tech they use, I think) it whiffs completely. Does anyone know which combo I'm referring to or another, easily performed combo that chains 2 megidos together with no meter?
  6. Can someone please explain 22B to me? If I use it to switch out of Origia mode, why does she overheat? Is there no benefit to using the B version to switch out of Orgia mode?
  7. Ziodyne can be VERY problematic. I faced a Liz player earlier today and they trolled me wonderfully with that attack. It isn't easy to get around, especially if they can easily read your reaction to it, in which case you could eat it repeatedly :/ It keeps you away, shutting off your rushdown/mixup and at the right distance it beats both versions of j.236A/B. I realize the attack isn't THAT good but I was really having trouble with it. Advice? EDIT: OK I think I'm on to something. I've been playing around with Aigis vs Liz in training. Aigis can challenge Zio with her D persona reversals! It's better if you use the versions where Athena moves forward because you can (fairly) safely follow behind her from a safe distance. Watch carefully because if she does use Zio you'll need to block it so that Athena can launch her counterattack (obviously because if you get hit she disappears and you lose stock). If you simply stay put and let Athena reverse, they may attack her so instead high jump and dash over the attack as it hits athena. If you are in Orgia mode, this should allow you to get close to her.
  8. Ohhh, I see. Thank you! And yes, Goddess Shield seems awful. Even in the tourneys, the only time I ever saw it used was to clear a bunch of space and then One More Cancel out of it to prevent punishment.
  9. Does anyone know any pretty good, practical combos that can be used while NOT in orgia mode? I mean she's wonderful for pressure and mix-up in orgia mode (I love how j.C combos into megido off pretty much anything) but in normal mode, the most damaging combos I can come up with require 7th gen radical cannon which is too slow to be truly reliable.
  10. Thank you guys for the information. Mitsuru seems like she could be THE most difficult matchup for Aigis. Then again, Mitsuru is just downright nasty, period.
