Ok I look at all your vids and you have an idea of what to do with her but not completely, which is okay but you want to get better with you. (Note the reason why you but you vids on here). I am going to be honest as possible. But when you play it looks like you dont have a plan. You are just rushing into the fight with the intent of I'm just going to do stuff and hope not to get hit. Not the right way to play her. She is scary to play against because you really dont know when to press a button against her. You picking Mitsuru makes you a threat. Dont forget this still is a fighting game. So you want to have a plan is number one. Also, you approached all your match ups the same. Every match up is different so that means you must approach them differently. When I watch your mirror match I was asking myself what are yall doing. I dont know if you have mu knowledge but neither one of you guys did sweep to each to counter the other for doing 5A or drill. This shows you are just doing stuff and not having a reason. You had so many hits that didnt turn into combos which in a lot of case could have taken a lot of her life. This brings me to my next point. Number three. Slow down. "But the game is a fast pace game." Yes that is true but if you dont know what you are getting hit by, if you dont know what you are blocking and if you are not looking for certain things, how can you make your next move. I know these were rank matches and you want to win so by all means do what you have to do to win. You won so thats all that counts for rank but in player matches you want to understand everything that is going on. What are you doing, what are they doing, what am I block, why did I do that and why they they do that. Last thing I know its a anime game but I never played anime games. I come from tekken,mvc2 and sf4, so I try to play this game like sf4 but with the speed of tekken. Where you have to make those quick dissensions. This has help me a lot because I get to see everything. I look at everything also. Oh yeah I forgot to mention. Look at everything on the screen. Your health, your meter, you burst meter, and how many rounds you have won. All this goes into account when you are trying to make reads on ppl and/ what someone wants to. Because I am more willing to dp something if I have 100 meter and/ burst b/c I know if this doesnt work I can get out of the combo with burst or do super when I land (but this may not always work lol) I dont want to get into how to play sf but if you play sf trust me this is the way to go. B/c you blocked a lot of stuff that you could have net you massive damage but since you were not looking for those things you didint punish for good damage. (Look at how well I punish things b/c I am looking for those certain this for Yu to do. Always always have a plan when going into a match. 2. Approach mu's different 3. work on your hit confirms 4. slow down and think and see whats going on 5. look at everything on the screen You dont have to do this but it helps play the game like you would if it was street fighter. I hope all of this has help. One more thing I dont know if you know but if you do 5A into sweep and you know they are going to try and move you can do drill for a counter hit. If you dont do drill just do 5A again lol So I usually do 5A sweep then 5A sweep again depending if I think there are going to doing something is when I do drill.
