  1. well I noticed that some things that worked before when I played the arcade and japanese demo... didn't work in the US version, but at first I wasn't sure if I was doing it right.
  2. Oh.. so that's why! I kept trying to do some Picolo combos I saw in one video once... with jump heavy, but they NEVER worked. >.<
  3. Here is my take on A.B.A, it's mostly really obvious, but probably not so obvious to people that don't play her/know about her. A.B.A Pros: + Big Damage from pretty much any random hit + Ability to fill the opponent's Guard Bar is unmatched + Double Keystab combos allow you to keep your bloodpacks longer + All of her Force Breaks are useful + Unblockable move in moroha mode(41236+K) + Has one of the best defenses in the game + Has many options to land damaging combos(Throw, Dust, Unblockable, etc..) + Big range on her attacks(Far Slash, Hard Slash, Rekkas, 2D) Cons: - Normal mode is hard to use and weak over all - You lose health as you attack in moroha mode - Moroha bar management can be difficult to master - Knockdowns decrease her moroha bar - She NEEDS to be in moroha mode to be dangerous - Completly open when changing modes - Her normals are a bit slow
  4. Yeah, there is a seroius lack of competition for this game. Such shame as this game is really fun...
  5. What was so funny about my pic?
  6. Pretty cool, added myself.
  7. Make sure to practice it while the move is actually hitting, as that is when you will usually be doing the FRC. The timing is slightly different that way(easier). Other than that, not much tips to give, but that the FRC point is kind of at around the end of the move, much like I-No's Chemical Love I think? Just keep practicing it, it isn't that hard of an FRC.
  8. Yeah, if you find yourself not using her tension much, then go ahead and use it for double keystab set ups instead. Sometimes you'll use tension when doing the rekkas FRC, for some air 41236S pressure, or for her Force Breaks, mainly her force breaks as they are great. A.B.A can do so much with her tension, I find myself that I burn it too much. Her combos might not need tension, but some of her mix ups do. I specially love the projectile in Moroha mode.
  9. lol, you both posted at the same time. :x But yeah, I have no idea what made you think baiken can't counter lows, they aren't even real counters, more like guard cancels.
  10. Don't mash as hard, never happens to me. You are just mashing too hard, make sure you are getting the motion right. :\ It really should be happening.
  11. Hmm.. Then maybe it is so that she doesn't hit the ground as much thus having her Moroha bar reduced..
  12. So that she doesn't hit the floor and get her bar reduced by 1/3!!! D: Actually, I am not sure if that is true(her teching early). I've never noticed it.
  13. The only games for CPS3 is: Red Earth, Jojo 1 and 2, the 3 SFIII games. Reason behind this is because it was a bit expensive making games for this system, or so did capcom say, thus they stopped using it. As you can see they made their last 2 games on the Naomi board instead.
  14. Oh alright, I'll upload the emulator and rom later, then. It's cool how fast CPS3 emulator has been coming to place though. And yeah, I've seen his combos, pretty great stuff but I am still trying to practice it, I got a hang of his tandem combo now though.
  15. I still quiet don't grasp tandem attacks. Let's see.. if I saw correctly, what is Kakyoin doing in those vids? 2AA 66A(or B) Tandem Attack(Mash on A? or go ABCABCABC etc..) > Roll to other side > Mash on A That's what I think I saw for basic tandem combo, but I am not sure, I can't get it going. D:
  16. Any Kakyoin stuff? I was trying some of the combos from the video, but I can't get the grasp of some things. D:
  17. boo hoo! Mariah is lowest tier! D: I can see why, too. She truely lacks.. A LOT! But, she's just too hot to pass... :|
  18. So how about I revive this thread? I am trying to find out mor Miraiah stuff(I play arcade version), but so far discussion for this game is pretty much non-existant.. anywhere. Trying to get back into this for whatever reason. Where does she stand in the tier anyway?
  19. Yeah, that was already in my playlist. :P The player is Shizuka, he has an excellent A.B.A. Probably better than Dio.
  20. For impossible dust combo do this 5D > j.P (JC) j.HS > land > Combo of choice (I go for the old school bite loop) Axel: After I test that with the throw > keygrab I'll edit the first post. AtTheGates: Same goes with the rest of the combos, I'll edit first post after testing them out.(however, most of those I have already mentioned, since I did get a lot of my own combos off Shizuka and Dio, plus a little modifying for them to work better.)
  21. Yeah, seems to not work on all characters. And even on the ones that do work on, I sometimes can't get it. Seems to be a bit tricky and I need to experiment with it a bit more.
  22. You can pretty much do 669P on every character after a throw and move them to the screen with a combo. Also, yewp, double keystab is difficult against light characters, but atleast the combo over all is easier. Also, I have a hard time comboing sol. :|! I just do: 2HS > IAD j.HS j.D 41236S > rest of combo That's what I do on him instead, and even then I can't really get a keygrab. Other characters giving me trouble are: Faust and Eddie.
  23. Yeah, a lot of her repts requires you to do 669 to be able to reach them, the boost the dash gives her on the jump really helps her out. It actually isn't that hard to pull out, but can be tricky at first if you are not used to it.
  24. NEVER! Flashy avatars should stay, always, all the time. WELCOME TO AWESOME!
  25. well.. double keystab only works if you do keystab, then land on the ground fast enough before they get up and get out of otg state for you to do the second keystab. Which is much easier to do if your first keystab is while on the ground. And, you can connect j.H into j.D specially for that reason. j.HS knocs down, so it brings the opponent down into the j.D.
