Man, I really want to read the manga, I really do, but the art style just kills me. Titties 'n ass are great things, but they were drawn so poorly and the facial expressions painfully comical I just couldn't look at it anymore. And the "story"? Sheesh, they shoulda just used the drama CDs for plot. That way, even if it sucks, they didn't spend any manpower on creating a script What Also, this thread hasn't gotten any worse. Need I remind everyone of the first post? C'mon guys, it just got really REALLY good, then back to normal =/ Bringing back a super old topic, what living human do you think has the most potential? Some people mentioned how Chipp can use Ki, even though he was a drug-addict and non-Japanese (...maybe this just proves the theory that there's something in Japan's water supply). I've always gotten the impression that Ki's very difficult to master (less than electricity though?), and the fact that he learned it when he was a teenager is kinda interestin' too. If there ever is an anime, I want a scene where Ky bugs Chipp to learn to control Ki ahahahahaha

Wow, I totally forgot 'bout this game! Still looks awesome, and I'm really diggin' the character designs and races, especially Metatron; not to be confused with Megatron (O Wikipedia, I loves you so much <3) Ack, I better keep a closer watch on this!

(^ so very appropriate) But wouldn't have been possible to make a command-type Gear that is only able to command those manufactured before it? Even if the retroactive command-type couldn't control Justice, it could still theoretically control other, lesser Gears, and have an all-out Gear brawl fest, rather than them versus humans. (less "causalities that matter" that way, I suppose) Not much of a software/technology kid, but it seems improbable that a very old program can still "speak" to a new one. Rather, new programs are oftentimes able to understand older programs. Backwards compatibility, I guess? .....At least in terms of photoShop haha. Well, either way, it didn't happen, so I guess it's moot. Although if the apocalypse does happen with a diabolical fembot leading an army of animal/human creatures, I'll know what to suggest to the bigwigs!

While I love Ishiwatari for his pretty pictures and songs, fuck him with all these musical allegories >( So wait, that pic of Sol is from the novel? I thought it was just an illustration he made for the artbook haha. Er, anyway, Justice wasn't able to control Sol 'cause he was made before him, right? It makes me wonder why the PWAB or whatever didn't try to create a command-type Gear that can affect Gears retroactively. ... ....Guess that'd be too easy, huh?

That's brilliant! Gamma Ray can even be her Final Smash attack! :0 I just threw out May as Donkey Kong 'cause she's the ridiculously strong character. Don't know if another one needs to be made, since there's already so much discussion! I also dunno if it's possible, but if someone made a hack where they replaced the Brawl sound effects with the Guilty Gear ones, that would be awesome (too much work though haha) -

Haha, this is awesome! The timing is crazy accurate, and I really like the concept (haha, Mario as Sol XD) Did you make the Versus and Game Over screens yourself? I've only played Brawl like, three times, and I don't remember those segments. I dunno if it were my speakers, but Ky's voice set seemed a lot less distinguishable/harder to hear that Sol's. Dunno if it's 'cause Sol's voice is so deep though. Tryin' to think of some other characters, but I have no idea....maybe Sonic as Chipp, Donkey Kong as May (ahahahahahahaha), and Marth as Baiken (AHAHAHAHAHA) -
I am pretty awesome at detecting sarcasm Whoa, I just got a wicked cool image of that happening. (DAMNIT ISHIWATARI, HAVE ANIME CUTSCENES IN THE NEXT GUILTY GEAR!) So if Raven's Overture backstory is legit (ie: Ishiwatari isn't gonna change it drastically or Raven isn't insane or forgetful), then when does Axl come in? I wonder if Axl saves him, and somehow gives some of his "I can run through time!" powers to Raven? But then how can Raven travel through time voluntarily? Is it because he's with That Man? (who's arguably a very mysterious fellow with mysterious characteristics) Or did he have some sort of ability before he became "Raven?" Ugh, it's all very confusing

Kinda a long shot, but could it be because those Gears were made a lot after the initial Gears? A lot of earlier Gears created were very crude with a lot of raw power (Sol's true(?) form, Justice, Gears in anime teaser, thing-that-gnashes-teeth-in-Nirvana-stage, etc.). Eventually, I imagine that, with a lot of research 'n development, more time was used to focus the magical energies of Gears, and make them look prettier. Or, at least have them more humanlike/less affected by the Gear conversion (...maybe a comment 'bout how humans are the perfect creatures or somethin' I dunno) As for Sol's rather rockin' headband (haha), beats me. .....:0! WARNING, CRACK THEORY: The materials that make Sol's Limiter so effective is because it's ACTUALLY PART OF THE OUTRAGE The Outrage were made by Freddie, as a kinda of anti-Gear mechanism, right? So, while certain components seal elements a Gear can use (sure as Sol 'n Ky's weapons), the rest limits others aspects, such as cancelin' (or "sealing"?) out what makes a Gear, a Gear. It's been proven that Sol's ridiculously power. Stupidly so, even. So what exactly is that Limiter made out of that can keep that power in check? ....Haha, wow, we really need a speculation thread. (Although I guess this thread is now kinda a "POST YOUR IDEAS HERE" thing now)

Why do I have a feeling that you're both 'bout the same age? I don't like treatin' people like kids, but you two are just TOO PRECIOUS <3 Seriously though, let's look beyond what character we like, and talk 'bout other things, ok? I mean, cripes, at least the fans that are like "KY IS TOTALLY A FAG AND HERE'S WHY" aren't as...snippy with each other. Movin' away (far, far away) from that, I thought Sin's eyepatch was just a 'cool and fashionable accessory' he wore? Though after I saw that picture of him as a kid, maybe it hides his Gear mark? Never thought of it as a limiter, since his Mum doesn't need one, and him being a quarter (?) Gear and all. Although now I'm curious to see if he has a Gear form like Sol!

Whoa, I didn't know there were so many writers here! :0 Anyway, I think it'll be neat to make a thread specifically for fanfics. Not necessarily to have them posted on the thread, but to have a database of people who are willing to beta/proof-read, or of writers who don't mind taking up requests or somethin'. Fuck, it'll even be neat to gather 'round all the artists and make some sorta contest/challenge~ ...'Course, I'm too lazy to organize it, but I'll definitely draw 'n proof read (though I'm a bit harsh on the critique aspects ohohohohoho)

Damn that's hot I haven't seen many videos of Jin, so his expression's a bit new to me, but he looks quite the badass! The slight contrapposto ya put is a nice touch, 'n I LOVE his right hand; very realistic and strong-lookin'! Man, that lineart's so clean X9 I'm not a fan of most of the character art, but if you drew 'em, then they'll actually look cool haha~

It might be, but I've never heard of it or seen it implemented. 'Course, Martial arts is a pretty big category, so maybe it exists somewhere. Alls I know is that she's always in ready position with her kicks. Chamberin' or whatever it's called. Speakin' sarcastically, I don't think there's any brand of martial arts that deals with flying dragon kicks (literally!) and puffballs

Cripes what the hell happened to this thread? What I wanna know more 'bout I-no. As crazy of a bitch as she is, her powers really interests me. I'm also curious to her relationship to other characters, especially Axl I really wish though, that instead of games like Overture, that Ishiwatari would make a RPG or Police text game, like Phoenix Wright or somethin'. They're totally not fighting games, but it would greatly please the plotwhore in me (and other fans, I'm sure)

Good god kids, can't we all just get along now? Who cares if people have differin' opinions, just deal with it, and don't be an asshole to others. Gotta say though, Dizzy bein' inherently evil is a pretty flawed idea; sure you'll only go as far as your genes, but nurture shapes who ya are as well. Fuck, I'm a pretty easy-goin' person, but even I'll be a crazy psycho-bitch if I was raised where Justice was my "DESTROY HUMANS" mama and Testament my "I WEAR A SKIRT, EVEN THOUGH I'M A MAN(?)" papa. On a complete side-note, I REALLY want that non-existent Guilty Gear anime to come out. Yeeep. Any day now, Ishiwatari.

I know I'm repeatin' myself, but if Justice 'n Sol were human that were converted into Gear, doesn't that make them half-Gear? Don't remember readin' or hearin' anything that stated that Sol was full Gear, but I could be mistaken...

Well, That Man didn't want her to succeed, and so I'm kinda assumin' that there's something really horrible inside the Cube. Maybe if it's released it'll be the catalyst for the whole "Man must become more than man, gear must become more than gear" phrase he spouts out at Justice's XX ending. ...Or it really could be the Black Beast from Blazblue Omg, can I put that in my sig? And I don't think That Man has a throne persay; I think he just sits on any rubble that happens to be nearby haha.

Haha, if the Kiske family gets another baby, that'll be hilarious. Cripes that would be so fuckin' adorable. Although it makes me wonder how long half-Gear-babies need to gestate or whatever. I think Anji's definitely turnin' out to be That Man's servant, but I dunno if he's Cone Head. If I recall correctly, that guy was seen in ending artwork since X Plus, and Anji at that time was just running around and askin' questions or something. These are his servants, right? Raven I-no Cone Head Anji Eddie(?) On a side note, I hope other GG characters join up with That Man. Jeez sthough, all this speculation, while awesome, really makes me wish there was a dedicated group that made a kickass doujin-game with IPF Ky. Or somthin' other than just drama CDs and novels. D:
