Wait, I don't get where you're gettin' the whole yaoi-vibe. The Brides seen so far are all female, and it looks like the actual fighters are guys, right? I think it would be pretty cool to see a boy angel/devil bride(?), but c'mon, I seriously doubt that's gonna happen. The character art isn't much to my tastes right now, but fuck me, the screenshots and sprites look amazing. GUYS IT'S LIKE FIGHTING IN AN ANIME Kuon's weapons are kinda weird though. They're held like swords, but the ends are like meat cleavers...do weapons like these actually exist?

I dunno. Wasn't the picture for the huge Guilty Gear CD soundtrack? I think it's just Ishiwatari fuckin' with the characters and designs, like the girls in Sol's clothing: After readin' some of these ideas, I want Overture II just so that I can see President Chipp. (Would his Vice be Venom? Hahaha Secretary of State could be Millia oh man)

I think Volf was the assassin in "Butterfly and Her Gale", the novel that stars Chipp. if I recall correctly, he was sent to kill Erica, the puppet-president of A Country, but failed 'cause Chipp was there (...or somethin') There's a picture of him in the book; Chipp's lookin' really menacing, and there's a person in the background; pretty sure that's him~

...You know, she's got a point.... Anyways, I wanna know what that "Eddie" kid Venom's taking care of. It would be awesome (but-kinda-sorta-creepy) if he's like Zato's reincarnation. He's probably just some random kid/Bridget's twin?, but I do hope he'll be tied into the story somehow. Gah, I really need to find time and listen to those damn Assassin drama CDs~

Really, no one yet? Guess I'll do it then. Anyways, I still firmly believe that Ky started collecting teacups 'cause Kliff had that badass Japanese tea set. Ky was probably jealous and/or thought that one's teacup collection was a diect show of a man's worth...or something. ...And teacups are cute and rather beautiful >: Oh god, I forgot how much I love your comics <3 <3 <3 <3 EDIT: And the awesome music that plays in the front page~ And the sprite pic that Zazz has is proof that Ky's muscular; it's pretty much official art!

D: What? No new servants?? Lame! Valentine and Raven are both antagonists to Sol and Friends, but they don't work together, do they? At least the other 'same-servant' characters make sense =/ (Well, I hope they have different color options for Raven...) :0!! Sorry Zazz, you did mention it! I also can't imagine any new playable characters (no way Ishiwatari's gonna have That Man playable), so maybe other added features could be new locations, additional missions (epilogue? something that directly connects to the sequel?), different servants, cameos? ....I wanna have a playable "Maiden of the Grove/some-other-Gear-with-Command-powers" D:

I always thought that Sol and Justice were half-Gear, since they were originally born as humans. 'Course, I don't remember seein' anyone else statin' how much of a Gear these two were, but my memory's kinda bad... >: Someone ought to make a doujin game with Ky as the main character. Just think of all the shenanigans there'll be with a cop as the protagonist!!

I never thought of May bein' a music fan, but I guess she found some Queen CD tablets as she was pirating along with Johnny haha~ (And I don't know what you look like, but if ya feel insecure, a growing a beard can also be a kind of security blanket, right? It's gotta look cool and sharp though!) Man, your dream reminded me just how much Axl is neglected. He's such an interestin' character, and probably one of the most relaxed guys in the series. D: Other than the Jinki, Paracelsus, Eddie and Angra, I didn't even know the other weapon's HAD names. (Haha "Bohemian", eh May? Good choice!) Also, beards make men (and women!) look ten years older. It's no wonder that your friend things a beard makes a man haha. Lou: You could try the "Ky-goes-to-investigate-a-strange-situation-meets-A.B.A-and-they-fall-in-love" scenario! He's a cop, so it's super easy to put him in those sort 'o things~

Relatin' to muscular-men-crushing-their-more-feminine-partners, Dizzy's part Gear, so I'd imagine she's pretty tough. Worst case scenario, Necro intervenes (....err). Regardless, Ky really needs to put on weight. Don't know what the fuck Ishiwatari was thinking when he had a 5' 10" French man weigh 128 lbs =/

Ah, so maybe that's the real reason Ky wanted a beard! To look more manly in Sol's eyes! Man, he shoulda just let his hair grow out longer. Seriously, practically all of the badass Guilty Gear men have long hair: Sol, Slayer (those bangs are pretty lengthy, plus he's got facial hair), Eddie, Johnny, Venom, Kliff, Millia, the list goes on. Ah, it's all a conspiracy to attract the shouta-loving fangirls! (Not that I mind or anythin')

(I thought that that was a general world opinion...) Anyways, I hope Overture II will have info on how the fuck Ky managed to snag the title of king, a country, AND a hot (underage) Gear babe. I suspect that the PWAB pulled some strings, but it still would've been a better idea if they just stuck him as a cubicle worker or somethin' (and give him an unlimited supply of potato chips! )

Well, Dizzy is like three, isn't she? Makes sense she didn't want her hubby to look twenty years older than her (o wait...) And Sin's like, half/quarter Gear, so of course he'll be more muscular than his pop. Haha, I wanna draw a 4-panel of Ky bein' jealous of Sin's guns! Also, regardin' Overture, I am SO disappointed with its storyline. I wanted PWAB involvement and crazy political conspiracies, not.......furries or talking birds (dragon?) =/ If BlazBlue does mean the end of Guilty Gear (which I highly doubt), I hope Ishiwatari at least succumbs to the fangirls and make gaidens with evil!Ky, evil!Dizzy, Jellyfish Pirates, and a fuckin' Crusades game. Oh, and an anime OVA too :3;;

He's also probably rolling around in thousands of yen bills, so I don't know if I could really relate to the guy. Although I didn't know that AC+'s story wasn't directed by Ishiwatari. Makes me curious if the guy honestly gives a shit 'bout the 2D fighting story, or if he just wants to work on the 3D Overture series. (Which is fine, but PLEASE Ishiwatari, PLEASE go back to drawing the character art ;_; ) (Ygg: Ah, boldin' your font's just a thing then? haha, that's cool)

That was before the Overture sales data (on a completely unrelated note, Ygg, why do you make your font bold? I'm mentally readin' your posts with a loud voice haha. although I guess it matches with the Majora's Mask moon avatar ya got there :0 ) Kinda wanted to keep away from this thread, but I'm curious if there will be attempts to connect Overture II with the first Guilty Gear and the Drama CDs. Will Ishiwatari try to include everything together, or will he take bits 'n pieces he likes? Oh god, if he makes Overture Ky some sort of clone/twin/zombie/angel (...actually, zombie would be pretty awesome), I'm gonna cry. Also: I like stories with interestin' development/plot, with characters that are not terribly out-of-character. :3;;

Ah, that's amazin', thank you <3 Well, this illustration kinda destroys any doubt as to who Sin's parents are: kid's got the blonde hair and love of white 'n blue of Ky, and ridiculous sexual-innuendo poses of Dizzy Gawd, Sol looks fuckin' hot and kinda Asian, or is that just me? (Jesus Ishiwatari, pick a race for the poor guy already!)
