Combo 6 is wonky. Works on: Both Sols, Slayer, Anji Maybe: Axl, Dizzy, Zappa, Faust. Everyone else is inconclusive with my terrible testing.

I promise it was the Slash version. It's the one with all the FUBAR'd monsters and with the embers of fire floating.

I never got this bug on the Vita version and that's my favorite stage.

You forgot the shadow swap special move. 214 P while shadow is active.

Don't know if this is old or not, but Shadow Turn aka shadow swapper can be activated even while the shadow is hitting the opponent, blocking or not. This produces some mixup potential and has a very strange property while the opponent is cornered. It forces the opponent to react as thought they were crossed up. I haven't really found a use for it but I will test it out later. I truly wish that some older Eddie players could play him so we can see his potential. I'm just starting out with him in +R after 10 years of hating him.

Damn...people crying about FRC's again? 80% of the new players won't know they exist, 10% won't get the timing, 5% won't know how they are applied in a match, the other 5% will figure it all out with some time. Let them sweat it out like the rest of us did when we first learned about them.

With Xrd, they may be able to get away with some new stuff since the engine is brand new to GG, but +R is a love song to the core GG player base right now. They aren't going to want to have to deal with relentless Aba's and Eddie's. Sure, Kliff is easy enough for them to pick up but beyond his ease of play, there's also the small nuances that you just wouldn't pick up unless you've played this game for a long time.

It's hard to get newer people into older games. As new and improved as +R is to us, they won't see it that way. We already have a template and are already very familiar with the game system. They are just coming into this world and have to deal with people who have been in this environment for 10 years at least. It's difficult to get them to understand that with practice and immersion, they too can become that damn good. Then it's another thing once they bite...they'll have next to nobody to play with them unless they play online which may or may not be optimal. It's a two-pronged problem that needs to be addressed ASAP.

Then you have no reason to argue my point. It's not fun to see all of your efforts gone up in smoke and to have your resources taken and used for something that you never intended for them to be used for. I directly supported the new DLC for Skullgirls because I knew that my money would directly affect my interest. The characters being added in at the time didn't really matter because I know that all of the same ones that got disqualified at this juncture will just go right back in the running and most likely will end up being in at some point. This situation is very different in the sense that it was a lose/lose situation from the very beginning for the Skullgirls side. The moral of this whole this is: don't expect to win in competitions where it was designed for you to lose from the very beginning. If we truly want GG to thrive in this hemisphere, we need to take action as a community and not wait for others to give a fuck about us.

So you think it's ok to funnel people's money into something that they don't directly support? Breast cancer, as one poster put it, is the most over funded disease ever, so that's going to get money no matter what we do. Frankly, I think that breast cancer drives ought to be forced to partner with testicular/prostate cancer and give them some of that money because women aren't the only people who get cancer but that's another story. At the end of the day, the people who truly wanted to see/support Skullgirls were placed in a gambling situation with shitty odds. Then when they(inevitably) lose, people have something to soothe them with in the form of "It was for a good cause". The church uses that same mentality with tithing and asking for donations.

But I like my money a bit more and I would rather it go to a cause that directly affects me.

Why do people feel the need to support tournaments that don't support them? I have never went to or supported Evo for their ignorance towards the games I like. GG has enough American players that they could easily do a GG only/main event tourney. They could do it like Yipes does Curley and have it move from state to state so nobody can say "it's too far" for long. It may seem like a daunting task at first but if people truly want to play, this would be the perfect example of the community helping out the community and just doing what's needed to maintain a GG presence in North America.

I can confirm that the PSN version at least has great online. I have played with friends who were in Jersey, Atlanta, and New Orleans while I live in Texas and I can consistently use FRC's, IAD combos, impossible dust, ect. But different connections in different regions, I guess.

They're on the ground. It's pretty simple to start but keeping it up is hard. Just do crouching or standing light into the command normal then run up and repeat.

Am I the first person to notice that Cait Sith has a loop/?infinite? with S.a or C.a into down-forward C, run forward, repeat? Of course you need run to do it though.
