  1. My brain was overloading with all the stuff she can do and all of her changes. 2C>Drive doesn't work anymore...at all. If you use 2C you have to combo into cutting shear. You can only special cancel ground D moves on block it seems like. So 5D, 6D, 2D. It was hard to test because the a.i. doesn't necessarily block when I want it to. Was 3C>D always a thing? If not, it is now.

So what I'm thinking about now is if Bullet now has her drive blocked by a standing opponent can she cancel into Miquelet Capture and perhaps throw them if they aren't paying attention and don't counter or crouch? I'll be around the arcade for a little bit tomorrow. Not sure if I'll have time to play but I at least expect there to be people.
  3. The new bounce that Bullet does after getting her drive blocked is indeed bad news. She is so open.
  4. Last night I went back to Taito really late and got to fool around and can confirm that drive is NO LONGER a hard knockdown. During the day I thought it was still a hard knockdown then I thought it wasn't but playing against the computer I realized that they were teching instantly after.
  5. I like that the changes allow her to essentially keep on her opponent while having easier access to heat levels. Also exploding Flint can lead to confusing opponents who think it is a regular one. I should going back for at last a little bit everyday. One day I definitely want to devote to Celica.

I am assuming that this goes to youtube because it's google and is viewed within the YT player.   9. Twice in a combo you can do it assuming you started with D. I took video of Shingo so when I get home I will make the files smaller and upload to vimeo where the Aksys Cops are less likely to look. Also will give it a BS name

  12. Kokonoe can't move during the black hole right? Just keep using 3c it keeps Bullet away from getting sucked in I believe. I didn't test it that much. But you slowly creep towards Kokonoe with it and catch her on her recovery. If you're close enough
  13. https://t.co/rY9qR4NwJL A twitter conversation got me to think about this. Bullet can punish all of Kokonoe's fireball supers on reaction with 3C or her DP command grab. Use 3C as it puts u in a better position to dodge the A fireball.

  15. Lol, our views on a "ballin'" plane ticket are very different. For me ballin means business class. Which is at least roughly $4000. As long as you are flying coach for over 5 hours one way the only options are shitty and shittier. Unless the plane isn't full and you have the seat next to you free. Then it's comfortable.
  16. Notice, I said if you wanted to make a full trip out of it. Obviously if you only wanted to stay in Tokyo you wouldn't need the rail pass. My point was that if you're gonna go to Japan then see Japan.
  17. Coming here in the summer time can be expensive. If you were just looking to stay ONLY in Tokyo (terrible idea) you could do it for cheaper but if you were looking to make a solid 10 day trip out of this and you bought a rail pass for your travel you could PROBABLY get by on $2500-$3000 airfare included. Intend to stay at hostels or sometimes net cafes as opposed to hotels. With the rail pass the majority of your travel would be covered which for a 14 day pass is about $450 and airfare would be about $1200-$1300 you could get lucky and get a lower fare depending on the situation. Accommodation is of course cheaper in groups and the rest would be play money.

  21. Shingo was back in the arcade today and his Bullet has gotten ridiculous...and I have video. I'll have it uploaded...eventually.
  22. All the followups put space in between Bullet and the opponent. Unless it's near a corner which may get you a wall bounce for followups. I can't remember exactly at this moment the exact follow up for Cutting Shear but I believe it's the one where she slams them into the ground and then throws them to the (opposite) side of the screen.
  23. I haven't recorded any matches recently because everyone is still pretty much training in Arcade Mode/Sparring mode. Plus I myself have been doing much of the same. The Hakumens finally came out tonight though.
  24. So...in my personal opinion I find Bullet's supers to be kinda useless. I mean you're better off spending her meter doing other things. Rage Aggressor can at least be comboed into but I tried Serpentine Assault but kept getting an invalid combo. I could just not be using the right moves to combo into it but still, that move is damn complicated to execute.

I spent all day playing her -She will get eaten by zoners or basically any character that has a zoning game that is better than hers. -The best command through is the 623B command throw because of the startup invincibility. The running one gets stuffed by everything and I rarely used the hoping one except for when I fought against a Taokaka. She jumps so much that you'll likely catch her quite a few times with it. However it is useful for mobility...just watch your recovery. -Rapid Canceling is crucial for her mid screen for more mid screen damage. And also charging her projectile close to a knocked down opponent forces them to block when they wake up provided they didn't roll anyway. Also it seems that most of her normals can be canceled into her projectile so it may be useful for ending block strings and possibly getting a counter hit but not too sure. 6C is useful because it can be jumped canceled . Because I currently suck I was screwing up the timing on her mid screen RC combos and her followup D combos (in the corner).
