I'd like to ask for help with this match-up.
I normally rush down, but Sol has too many things that can push me back. Just dashing at him is pretty bad, because he can gun flame, VV, f.S, anything would beat Testament's normals from my experience. If I were to do a hs.EXE while rushing, he would just block and then jump and do air circle all day, or j.p or anything after blocking. Also, Sol's down dust makes him so low it's sickening. My f.S even goes above him, it's just sad.
Then there's my air approach, Testament has a fairly bad air arsenal for approaching from my experience. The only safe air approach I see is j.p all the way to him till you land and maybe toss some j.k's in there as well. Even if that were to hit, the prorate would just make the combo pointless. And all my air approaches can be countered with Sol's 6.p or maybe a VV if he's gutsy.
When all hope of approach is lost, the last plan is to turtle. When turtling, the Sol can just destroy every trap planted and then drive in with a j.HS or any pressure string.
Conclusion: I'm having a hard to trying to find a counter to Sol's more prioritized moves like j.HS and j.P. Anyways to counter it? Testament's lack of invulnerable moves make me sad.
