  1. I had a great time this weekend, so I suppose I should make some shout outs as well: Milln - Thanks for organizing the tourney, being an awesome Yosuke, and letting me pass out in your room. Also thanks for pushing me to shell out that $10. Money well spent. I had a blast, and the tourney made me realize that I wasn't absolutely terrible at P4A. Stay awesome, man. P.S.: If you happen to find a blue flip-phone somewhere, please tell me. Jackie - It was great meeting you. Thanks for the ride to and from. You're an awesome person to hang out with, and I had a lot of fun playing around on the arcade games with you. You never did show me the power of your Yu, though. We really need to get the Cookeville people together sometime. Seriously. I forgot that I lost my phone over the weekend when I said "I'll text you," so yeah... Wesley - You may not have played in the tournament, but I hope you had some fun with our casuals. Constant persona breaking due to giant baseball bats must get frustrating, I'm sure. Watching you mess around with Faust was also pretty entertaining. Papstr - You manage to be even more of a scumbag with Teddie than I am, and you don't even know my unblockable resets or corner combos. You would be an unbearable opponent, but you've bearly even clawed the surface of scumbear tech. Also I went back to the stream just to watch you instant kill BoomBox. I can't believe I missed that. Hilarious. ZomB - Thanks for the casuals. You showed me just how stupid a high-level Chie is. We may have not gotten our soku matches, but I figured P4A was better for that night. Stay amazing at these things. Boombox - Thank you very much for the casuals. They made me realize I definitely need to work on my pressure. Freaking 2A pokes... :P Astaroth - Thanks for bodying me in the tournament, superman grabbing as soon as I forget that's a thing you can do. I'm proud to say I wasn't completely free to you, which gave me a huge confidence boost during the tourney. I'll try to come up with even more enraging Teddie tech so that you have a reason to stay mad at the character. That one Abel player - Thanks for teaching me how to play SF4AE a bit, and for teaching me how to cheat the shoryuken motion on a stick. Klein - Thanks for beating up on Papstr for me in SF and for inadvertently teaching me a bit about GG. And thanks to anyone I may have forgotten to mention. KoB was great, and I'm glad to have gotten a chance to meet all of you.
  2. So who do I need to bribe to fit me into a small car with many other people?
  3. I wouldn't mind giving 5 dollars to Georgia. It'd give me a chance to see how I compare to people in high-level, too.
  4. While I may be in Middle TN for college, my home is West TN, so I would probably fit in that group.
  5. I'm on PS3 as well, but I won't be able to compete with you guys, surely. I wouldn't mind joining in the fights for experience, though.
  6. I honestly hope there's a Teddie much better than I am to body me. Downloading everything he does and dissecting why he does it may help me out.
  7. Oh damn, it's legit. I was honestly expecting that to take me to that fake 13.5 with the cosplay photo sprites. Patiently waiting for the announcement of the gimmicks + character list.
  8. I definitely don't know that match-up. I'm pretty clueless on how to fight her as Teddie. My Naoto has an easier time in that matchup, tbh.
  9. I still don't understand it when people say Liz is a bad character. Godlike mixups, corner resets that make me cry, multiple high damage combos, and big, disjointed hitboxes. I can't even get in on her, and it's even worse if she decides she wants to get in on me.
  10. Cramped cars are fine by me as long as no one in the vehicle hates me for it :s Speaking of that combo vid, I still need to come perform those combos, don't I?
  11. Ooh, it would be all right if I used one? Excellent. Now I only need a ride.
  12. Milln with that pro philosophical advice. I'll definitely be there to meet people, watch the matches, and enjoy some casuals. I realized earlier that the only thing I can play on is a PS3 pad, so I can't enter the tourney anyway lol. Edit: @Minion: That's exactly what I picture whenever my crappy Naoto pressure gets eaten by [D].
  13. If anyone's up for P4A tonight, I'll be on PSN. If you're local, we could play offline.
  14. I can bring my laptop. Might be less hassle that way as well. I play on a PS3 pad, and those things are a pain to get working on a computer. Although this is still 100% dependent on me finding a ride to KoB. Papstr, we need to get together some time and have more of those hype Teddie mirrors. You know you wanna.
  15. I wouldn't mind some Soku. It's been quite a while since I've played.
  16. Ah yeah, that explains why I recognize his name.
  17. Hype indeed. I still need to find a ride, though. Why does the name "ZomB" ring a bell...? Half-ghostly bell...
  18. Midscreen Teddie combo, possibly even more impractical than the last. Starting on the left side a bit past the signpost in Kanji's default stage: FC 2C 2D (Dry Ice) 5B IAD jA 2B hj9 jB[6] (Dry Ice hits) 2AB OMB 66 5B 236D 236236D 236D 5B 2B hj9 jA j236A j236236[D] [back up a bit here] (explode missile) -- 5967 damage For the reset, right after exploding the missile, hj9 midair-turn j[D]. As you're falling, release D and jA. Releasing D will cause Kintoki-Douji to push the opponent out of the corner so you end up behind him when you jA. Now for the reset combo: jA 5AA 2B jA jA j236A j236236C (you must have bearscrewed to the opposite side of him at this point) (Smart Bomb hits) hj8/9 jA jB jD (Oil Drum oki) -- 3523 damage Fun stuff.
  19. I'm surprised I hadn't noticed earlier. Thanks.
  20. Hmm. 2D throws the ice farther than 5D. This may give me room to be more fancy, but the spacing will be weird. EDIT: Aww gawd, this one might be harder than the first...
  21. Yeah, most of the combo requires very strict timing. If it's too bad, I could come perform it on someone's PS3 that records, but I can't guarantee I'll get the combo quickly, either lol. Working on something midscreen which has to do with jB into a dry ice that was placed mid-combo. I would work on a combo for another character for variety, but I only know Naoto and Teddie. Kyle definitely has Naoto covered. Are resets allowed in this combo video? I have one in mind I could tack onto the end of that midscreen to increase the swag. Otherwise, I'll just extend the end of that combo with the same ending as the corner one.
  22. Got my corner combo to work. Probably looks best if done on Yosuke. FC 2C 5D (Dry Ice) 2AB OMB TK j236B 5AA 236C 236236[D] [5B hj9 jC jB jA]x2 5B 5C 5D (Smart Bomb) 2B jA (2-3 hits) j236A (cancel early) j236236[D] 214214C (explode the missile) (Smart Bomb hits) (Circus Bear hits) Teddie SMP loop + super combo ender. Did 8381 damage. I'll work on something midscreen as well if I have the time.
  23. Will do, thanks. >silly, ultra niche, goofy fighter Sounds like my first fighting game.
  24. Happy birthday, Milln! May it be a great one. I wouldn't mind coming up with a Teddie combo, but I have no way of recording it...
