  1. i think only bridget has a 6S f.S is just the 5S variant that happens when you aren't close enough for c.S
  2. yeah you can still throw bursts thankfully
  3. do combos done on an opponent you successfully blitz shield do normal damage, or does it get prorated?
  4. mmm i know there are times when i do miquelet -> engage while i'm level 2 and wish it didn't remove all my levels, since the damage boost isn't that big there it'd just be nice to have the option at least
  5. yes but if you started a combo in level 2 and only used one level, you could get back to level 2 after the final D
  6. i'll try to be on, but i'm west coast so it'll prob be a bit rough
  7. please do, a wiki update sounds great!
  8. hey that's my tech
  9. sounds like a great idea
  10. great job on the guilty bits video kaeru
  11. definitely agree with all that
  12. gotta buffer it while you're doing something else
  13. i think people just want more interesting costumes than that like sure throw in bb inspired palattes or whatever, but if we're talking full-on new costumes i want something more unique
  14. throw a burst and i'll be happy
  15. man i wouldn't go that far. of course i'd probably still buy the game even if it was just a box that said guilty gear on it
  16. personally, i'd say you should consider practicing that combo on a character that's easier to perform it on, like venom or testament (if you haven't already). that way when you practice it on ky, who can be a bit tougher to dustloop consistently, you may have a better understanding of where you need to be to make the magic happen. make sure you're somewhat close after the air tatami relaunch, because otherwise you'll simply be too far out to go back in for the final ad j.SD. eventually, you'll be able to tell if the combo's gonna fall apart, so i sometimes compensate with an ad j.PD to try to hold it together (at the cost of overall combo damage). it's definitely better to be able to do the combo the right way every time though! if you're looking for footage of the combo, i'm sure you can find it in just about any high-level match, since it's a very common corner loop.
  17. that'd be great man, i've been trying to pick up stick, but i'm definitely not ready yet.
  18. alright cool, thanks for the notice. i only know how to play on xbox pad, so i'm probably going to get completely bodied... but i'll suffer through for gg
  19. i agree with you on sol, that match is really frustrating when the sol player knows how to handle it. i'd add jam to that list also for mostly the same reasons as sol, plus the massive damage she does. and yeah, i don't know if may's necessarily a terrible match for baiken, i think it's more that she's just plain annoying in general!
  20. all i can say is that the best thing to do tensionless is probably: gatling > 2D > j.D. in the corner without tension, try to set up a throw so you can build some meter with the followup combo. for crossup vertical dolphin, sometimes i do suzuran to get away, but i'm not sure that's really the best option... honestly, i wouldn't mind some good advice on this one either.
  21. i've got some questions about a design, i'll shoot you a pm
  22. since +R just got officially delayed, i'd say just go for it now. the most important thing to learn for baiken combos anyway is her frcs, and the crucial ones all have the same timing in +R. also, her basic combo stuff in +R is really easy to adjust to based on what i've played on the vita version.
  23. if you do it right, she'll turn around and you can do j.k or j.s for the crossup. it's super flashy and somewhat effective, but still pretty much just a really hard to input gimmick
  24. he made it to the arc revo cup for gg
